Edmond moved his store to Clement a few years ago and it's now two blocks from my house. There's NO REASON to go anywhere else for a bottle of whiskey, I'd come here even if it was miles away. Great selection and prices. Don't like whiskey? Get help. But there's also other spirits, a great beer selection, and a few bottles of wine. Also there's top shelf ice cream, and a rack of chips. Come for the whisky, grab a pint of Ben & Jerry's. No reason to shop anywhere else. read more

My boyfriend and I wanted to pick up some liquor before heading back to our hotel and we decided to stop by this place. Since it was across the street from the restaurant we decided to eat at, it was pretty convenient. We browsed through the shelves and aisles and noticed a lot of liquor that I wasn't familiar with. (Probably because I'm not a heavy bourbon or whiskey drinker) We decided to go with gin and paid the cashier. He was super friendly and the entire process was fast and easy. read more

Solid place to buy hard-to-find Bourbons. Picked up a bottle of Weller SPBP for a *relatively* low price compared to other stores. Bourbon's like that are hard enough to find, let alone at less than a 700% mark up. Also snagged my favorite daily, Eagle Rare, for *only* a 40% markup. (The Whiskey Shop downtown charged 135% markup for Eagle Rare a year ago) Reasonable, ethical, and well stocked. read more

Bourbon County WIne & Spirits is a far stretch from the korean/asian grocery that was once here. with clement st. and surrounding streets innudated with asian eateries, a change was needed. Bourbon and spirits is the right solution. didn't look at the whisky and high spirits (plenty of it). just saw the wide assortment of 12-19 ounce beer offerings. first, i was annoyed. not many big bottles here. then, i thought it was a great idea. why go to a bar and pay 5-6$ for the same. idea for a lunch drink. bonus: not local brews but nationwide! brew: point the way IPA tallish boy. 19.2(2.99). golden road, la brew. -definitely hoppy @5.9abv. -great value owner previously at civic center. nice to have another option in the richmond. news on the net: "Trump hopes Paris attacks boosts Le Pen, one day after Obama calls Macron, 4.21.71 (the intercept) *Is Trump rooting for terrorists to accomplish what he can't? Just fair warning folks be aware of the rude wise guy up front. Came from a nearby restaurant and decided to check out this place but sadly regretted it. The selection and the prices are nothing special. The only thing that I found worthy in is the chilled liquor. As I approached the counter to pay I had a few exchanges with the guy up front. Just a few exchanges led me to say "forget it" I'm not supporting someone this ignorant. I truly hope he reads this message because he needs to work on his customer service skills read more

Great selection of wine and spirits - curated with much more finesse than your corner market. It's clean and cute and sells some affordable and unusual vintages. That's all folks! read more

I'm not really into hard liquor but when I was told from a friend that Bourbon County has the best selection of craft beer in the Outer Richmond, he wasn't kidding. Great prices from local craft breweries throughout the store. A lot of cans are also refrigerated. Everytime I come in I get treated with friendliness and excellent service. read more

Edmond and co. are mindful bottle shop owners. During the dark days of Covid, Edmond paid attention to our purchases and took the time to ask questions about what we liked as far as beer (Trumer vs Stella, in a can? Bottle? 6'er vs 12 pack) and by the time we got to our next visit to stock up again, he had everything we ever desired. Great recommendations on liquor for making cocktails also. 20/10! Fantastic little store in the Richmond with a large and diverse selection of good and great whiskies. The proprietor is pretty knowledgeable about his stock and whiskey in general and is happy to give you some advice or steer you towards quality stuff. He also stocks a nice line of other spirits and the occasional hard-to-find liqueur. It's nice to have a quality store like this in the neighborhood. read more

Best Liquor Store in the City. Love the Bourbon selection. Super Clean Store.

Stopped in last week in search of a few bottles of bourbon to add to my bar. The place has only been open a few weeks and with no reviews I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely be returning. They had a well stocked bourbon selection and Edmund, the owner, was a nice dude that gave me a couple good bottle recommendations that I definitely would have overlooked. He also took down a couple requests I had so hopefully those show up on a shelf in the future. Prices were a couple dollars higher than K&L, but I'd rather shop at a neighborhood spot. I didn't check out the beer or the rest of the store so I'll save that for my next visit. read more

Stopped by real quick and had a small misunderstanding about the price of something. Instead of just telling me the correct price the man at the counter just said "uhhh" and rolled his eyes at me. New neighborhood gem. Excellent and specialized selection of liquor especially bourbon, whiskey, rye and scotch. Great selection of local, domestic and foreign beer and specialty mixers. Very knowledgeable and helpful owner. Store is organized, neat, well lit and spotless. I found pricing to be highly competitive and lower than most other stores of this size. If you like bourbon, this liquor store is a gem. I don't like giving away the best spots to buy it, but the owner of this place clearly works very hard and has a lot of integrity, so he deserves a shout-out on Yelp. The bourbon selection here is excellent--not only does it have a well-curated arrangement of Kentucky bourbons, ryes, and other grains, but Bourbon County pulls in some special single-barrel picks. These are the bottles where you can get some of the unique flavors from distillers, and they are plum bottles to try. Again, if you are a bourbon snob--this is a place you need to try. But my favorite part of this store is that the prices are reasonable. With the gold rush environment around bourbon in recent years, many liquor stores jack up the prices of the top bourbons, marking them up as much as ten times the price they buy them. Not this place--you can find some real nuggets at retail prices that the distillers suggest. I love it--this will be one of my go-to places to get my bourbon fix. read more

I stumbled across this place after visiting another neighborhood store and struck up a conversation with the owner, Edmund. Great guy, super knowledgeable, moved his business from Market to Clement not too long ago. If you want to support a local business and I guy who knows his stuff, I highly recommend checking out Bourbon County. Good, reasonable prices on bourbon and rye also and I found a bottle (Rock Hill Farms) that I haven't seen anywhere else in SF.
