The waitress even took notes of what our allergies were, very refreshing. Just to make sure the food that I ordered was OK the manager came over and asked just to make sure, appreciate that. The food came out perfectly as ordered without having anything to be sent back, as usually it needs to be sent back for one reason or another. My gas and I appreciate the amazing customer service, the tentativeness, the food that tasted better than what the menu you read and just overall ambience nice experience without being rushed. If you're looking for an upscale place food and ambience this is the place to go and come back to.

I'm here to do everyone visiting Burton's for weekend brunch a huge favor: Do NOT get the chicken…read moresandwich. I'm sorry, Burton's, but someone should be embarrassed to charge $18 for this. My husband spent a dollar more and got the brunch burger which I sampled and it was head and shoulders above this sad little chicken sandwich that had very little flavor and should be taken off the menu IMO. It looks like a sandwich you would get from Panera, not a place like this. I want to give our bartender credit for the hard work she was doing attending to surrounding tables and bar patrons by herself. I also will give credit to the restaurant for the amazing truffle Parmesan fries and my yummy decaf espresso martini. But for the love of Pete -- stay away from this pathetic, tasteless and overpriced grilled chix sandwich that sounded great on the menu but failed miserably IRL. They can and should do better.

This was our first time going since it had opened as the Fireside Tavern. It is fair to say we were underwhelmed. My wife ordered a Dirty Martini and it had a lot of vermouth in it which is not the correct way to prepare it. For an appetizer we got the Calamari which was very good. Crispy and tender with delicious hot peppers added in as well. For the main courses we got the Chicken Piccata severed over Gnocchi which was good but nothing special. Gnocchi were a bit denser than we like. Our other main was the Seafood Paella. On the plus side it had a lot of seafood in it, mussels, Shrimp, Scallops and a white fish. All of the sish was cooked well and was tender and juicy. However it did not appear to be cooked in a Paella pan so you didn't get some of those bites of crispy rice and the seasoning was off it had no saffron or tomatoes like I am used to. It was more like a plain rice that they added peas, carrots, and red pepper. Just didn't taste like any form of the paella that I have eaten previously. Jenna our server was awesome and attentive but not overbearing. She was fantastic and made for an enjoyable evening.

Another great dining experience, with a friendly, attentive waitress…read more Loved my Chinese chicken salad & blackberry spritz. I love that you can still eat reasonably healthy here while fellow diners can indulge. We also split the shrimp cocktail. Ended up painting a room downstairs a similar color to that in this room. Loved the vibe...seems like a great space to host an event. There was a private event going on in the small fireside colonial room. I hope to visit there next time.

This always pops up on Yelp, so we finally made reservations for our anniversary dinner…read more Disappointed they didn't do anything special or acknowledge the special occasion, even after replying to their survey post-visit. Server was nice but you could tell they were understaffed that night and sat too many tables at once. Once we sat done down and given water it took a while before our server appeared. The pacing was off and there were long periods between our order and apps, entree, and dessert. - bread service: kind of expensive ($13) for 5 pieces of bread and a dollop of each dipping sauce. Try just bread and butter for $6 - cornbread: delicious but small portion for $14. Also not a fan of the cutting board presentation - kids Mac and cheese: very cheesy ($12) - tiger shrimp risotto: ($34) good flavor but risotto was underdone - fried chicken: ($30) so crispy and cooked perfectly but had an odd spice in there like cinnamon? The star was the fried green tomatoes and the buttermilk ranch! Perfectly fried and crunchy while the tomatoes stayed firm and a very tasty ranch dressing! - dessert: warm cow sugar cookies were nice and warm sitting in butterscotch pudding, very cute! - the toffee in the butterscotch pudding ($11) was super crunchy, wish there were more cubes mixed in - warm chocolate brownie ($15) was missing the creme anglaise? Or the splatter of it was very small? I liked the open kitchen, high ceilings and farm2table concept but be prepared to spend $$$. Some street parking available and metered lot across the street.
