I really want to like this place, as its close to my house but its just not good. Clean place but customer service is lacking. Feels like the employees don't want to be there. its got the ambiance of a library. if you want to play the arcade games or pinball be prepared for dirty looks as you're breaking the unspoken "silence is golden" rule they seem to have. Wanted to give a 2-star, but there were a couple cool things that bumped it up a tad. Overall, this place is pretty cool, they really went all out with the New Orleans theme and sports bar decorations, even on the ceiling. I think it's from the same company that owns Dotty's. So the cool things were this: (1) There are screens everywhere! The wall to the east is in fact, a wall of TVs. They're customizable too - When I asked the dude if they were showing UFC (non pay-per-view), he said "Where do you wanna sit? I see you're wearing an Angels hat, do you wanna watch that game too? I can split-screen it on this wall and show you the NBA playoff game on the screen next to the hockey game." (2) They have some arcade games where you can win tickets to trade-in for prizes. But what bugged me was the reason we left early: drinks & food. The draft beer selection is not much of a selection. Besides 4 taps, it's pretty much a bottle selection... or you can order daiquiris, which I guess NOLA is known for? Then I wanted the burger and try out the alligator bites, both of which they were out of. To their credit, the entire menu is basically sausages and hot dogs. A pleasant surprise that this bar has great drinks and plenty of entertainment inside. I met a friend here before dinner plans in the same shopping center. We chose it only because of location so I went in without any expectations. I left knowing I'll want to return soon. The inside of the bar was strikingly clean and uncluttered. There is a large bar with barstool seating and gaming. The left side of the bar has tables and a lounge area with TVs for viewing sports. Throughout the bar there are arcade style games. The arcade games were the highlight of this bar for me. With my drink I was given tokens for the games. There was a machine to buy additional tokens. Like any good arcade the games reward you with tickets. The tickets are good for cheap items like beaded necklaces, but it was fun to gain tickets like a kid at Chuck E Cheese. Games included motorcycle races, a beer pong game, a basketball game, and one to throw footballs. Drink options are far from boring and standard. Of course they offer the full bar options, but they also have a nice menu of unique cocktails and a large variety of daiquiris. I went with a pina colada daiquiri and it was delicious. The drink came in a large cup that was probably equivalent to two drinks. It was only $7 and included tokens for the games. What a deal! read more

So let me first say I love dive bars and this checks all the boxes. It's got a New Orleans kind of vibe but not. They have the most TVs on the wall. Make that a single wall that I've ever seen they have other TVs but it's insane the variant of sizes. But if you wanna watch a game of any style any sporting event it's up there. Think of what you see when you walk into a hotel casino and you're in the sports booking area. It's like that. Typically there's not a lot of people in there then again I've gone when it's very late. It's a great locale if you're staying at the Palms resort or the Palms towers because it's right across the street. They give you these little gold chips or as I call them gold Doubloons for every dollar you spend on beer. They've got video games of all kinds arcade games pool actually several pool tables, a Jukebox which is hard as hell to figure out, but it's all positive vibes when your favorite tunes come on... Oh and you don't have to pay money you can use your gold doubloons. They have half naked manikins that slowly twirl in the rafters above... Bizarre but fun. The staff are always pleasant. And there's high top tables for the most part there is some booth type seating with couches and what not if it's a busy busy game night you might see a bunch of people post it up there but like I said there's not a ton of people that go in at one time it's pretty steady but sparse. Let's just start with this place is horrible. Came in on the 13th to celebrate valentines a day early, and right off the bat was scolded by a short white guy for not giving my ID as I walked into the door. My fiancé and I give our IDs he glances at hers and gives it back and takes mine and continues to take a picture of it on his phone. Then before handing it back to me says "Before you sit down you have to take your hood off." Mind you, I do have face tattoos so service like this happens often. We then sit down and wait for 15 minutes while the two bartenders chat behind the bar. No attempt to serve us, no Interaction, just avoided. I really like this bar! It's pretty big and has huge TV's to watch games with some comfy couches and some hightop tables. They also have arcade games that are fun to play. The decor is obviously New Orleans themed and they have a bunch of frozen drink machines with pre-made things like Hurricanes, etc. that are actually pretty good. The menu is also New Orleans themed so it's not really my taste, I'd prefer regular bar food but I'm sure some people like it. Drink prices are very affordable and they give you tokens to play games with every purchase. There is bartop gaming which means cigarette smoke which I hate, but the space is big enough that you can just move locations if someone is smoking by you and it's bothersome. read more

I had no expectations, so I was pleasantly surprised! Bourbon Street is a New Orleans themed sports bar- aptly named. Apparently they have a few locations around town. Other than being EXTRA SMOKEY and only one of the toilets in the women's bathroom being operational, it was alright. Lots of New Orleans themed paraphernalia all around, and they serve all kinds of New Orleans inspired drinks. Drink prices are quite reasonable, and you get tokens for the video games with every drink or food purchase, which my gamer boyfriend loved! We played Jurassic Park for a very long time on them. (Just wish it had all of the sound- it was like playing the game on mute). Food was just ok. We ordered a chicken sandwich with fries and it was pretty bland. The fries were twice battered, which made them too crunchy and rough for my taste. Think of this place as a mini Dave n Buster's except with much more affordable drinks, better craft beer options and low key not chaotic with a bunch of kids screaming and running all over the place. I've been to 3 different locations and they are all pretty much set up the same, some being a little tad bit bigger than others and some with better arcade games but all in all, pretty consistent with service and theme. I love that everytime you buy food/drinks they automatically give you tokens to play any of their games. Food is decent, but don't expect to have a full on meal here. Mostly bar finger foods which is perfect for this type of place. It's open 24hrs and the place is well kept, every one of these has 1 or two pool tables along with some casino gaming. Overall, a great place to check out and I highly recommend you give it a shot. Good place for a date night too! read more

I was nervous about this location as I've been coming to this bar for many years. It was LJ's then Loos Caboose (bad) and now Bourbon Street. This place is legit and will be successful as I'm very impressed with what I saw here. They re-modeled the former building and gutted it then fixed it up and made it great. They've got plenty of drink options, great bar food and plenty of gaming (if your into that). The bartenders are great, friendly and prompt with service. Try the dogs and burgers here. This place is very cool with its theme and comfy sofas. The screens are awesome, fun games to play, free tokens with drinks, pool table, jukebox, video poker, frozen daiquiris, prizes. The service is mediocre and usually only one or two people working. But why oh why is the food so horrible. The menu is really bad. Most the time they are out of items like other reviewers have said. The times we did order food it came out like cold inside...the hotdog....or was just cheap quality frozen stuff . This place has so much potential. Why oh why does the Owner not correct this. The fried pickles came out disgusting!!! And burnt they would not refund them or remake them. They said that is how they come. Honestly don't order any of the food its trash! The hot dog was served on a stale baguette. The hot dog tasted rubbery and was in edible. The nacho had canned cheese. The only thing edible were the chicken fingers. The blonde lady who was the manager at the time wouldn't refund or remake their disgusting pickles. I go here all the time and decided to try their food, big mistake and horrible customer service. I'm not sure if we're supposed to go to the bar and order, then they bring it out to you, which is fine, but let your customers know before they sit at be a table for 10 minutes and realize that they won't get service unless they order at the bar. We had to move to the bar to be served, once at the bar it took forever for the bartender to talk to us, when it wasn't busy, I told her it was the first time there so I wanted to ask about something's on the menu, she talked about one dish, told us if we order it that it would be faster, and seemed to be rushing us. We ordered what was suggested and a drink. It took about 10 minutes for her to make the drink because she was talking and about 20 minutes for the food. We were not In a hurry so we didn't mind but we felt rushed to order, when we finally got service, and now they took forever. The bar had games so it was a lot of fun. It is a cash only bar. I actually ended up leaving several of my tokens behind for someone else to use. Lets address the food. It's been a long time since I've had alligator and was really looking forward to it. It was extremely dry and so it was served with honey mustard. When you dip it in honey mustard, all you taste is honey mustard. C had the chicken sandwich and seemed to like it. I ordered the shrimp po boy sandwich and didn't even eat half of it because it was so dry. I love fried shrimp so how they could mess this up I don't even know. Really disappointed in this place. Almost skipped this place because of the 2.5 review but I told my wife we should just check it out anyways because yelp can be misleading. I'm glad we checked it out because this place is nice. LOTS of tvs, LOTS of space, music isn't obnoxiously loud and very very fair prices on drinks. It's 2018 so I guess alot of people are sipping on hatorade and wanting to be outraged by something, but give it a try and don't believe all the negative yelpers all the time. The bad reviews are about the service being bad, they got so upset that no one checked on them, etc etc. But dude, if no one is the establishment, just go up the bar and order. Came here on a Monday night after work. The place is cool with the multiple big screens and smaller TVs around the seating area. They had a few old school games. It kind of reminded me of a mini midway. They give you tokens when you purchase food or drinks. I had ordered a margarita on the rocks. It just tasted like slush and didnt seem fresh. I guess they took it from the margarita machine. I was so hungry so I tried to order. They tell me they ran out of most of the food since Saturday. From what I remember they didnt have bread, fries, nachos, and chicken fingers. I believe they only had a salad and fried pickles. Kind of upsetting. Of course we left to get something to eat. All of the games are "temporary off" so there is really nothing to do. The food was horrible and the drinks were not any better. I am originally from Slidell Louisiana so you know I had to check this spot out!! Ohhh emmm geeeee it is such a cool chill bar. Their prices are at "happy hour" prices 24/7. Really good beers at $4 a piece. The only thing I'd say I don't like about it is the prices for the games. They're expensive and not worth the money. The absolute worst customer service, we walked in and sat down at at table and waited for almost 15 minutes and the server/bartender saw us walk in and just was talking and talking. She didn't say "I'll be right with you" or anything she looked at us sitting at the table and just kept talking. So we waited for maybe about another 5 minutes and she still didnt come by or say anything to us. So we got up and left. Even walking out she didnt say anything to us while walking out..
