Stopped in for a quick dinner. We absolutely adored the Broasted Grippo wings, sooooo yummy! Shrimp taco were a little on the watery side and could use more flavor they were a little bland. We sat at the Bar and received excellent prompt service. Would definitely come back for those Grippo wings, they were perfectly tender inside yet crispy on the outside.

This place always makes me happy. The bartender is so nice. The food is fantastic. Takeout is so easy. They have plenty of seating and it's always clean. The drinks are expertly made. Try this place out!!

Undoubtedly one of the best places to eat in Middletown! Our appetizers were fantastic and so were the entrees. Everything was a great price and came out surprisingly fast. The building is on the smaller side but we were able to make a reservation before arriving. It's a cute place that you should definitely try!

We enjoyed it! The food was excellent, though not a huge selection. I would describe it as elevated bar food; highly elevated, plus there's Chicken and Waffles on offer! Is this available all day; are there different menus for dinner time? I do not know. Ours was a Sunday noon visit. Of course I went for the C&W. Our waitress, Danielle, asked if I wanted it tossed in the honey hot sauce. It was a very good question and I opted to take it on the side. Way more hot than honey, and I was glad to be able to drizzle and dip. The Waffles were excellent, crispy soft and just sweet enough. The syrup pour was generous. Chicken nice and tender. Phenomenal dish. Danielle, by the way, was one of the best waitresses we've experienced in recent memory. Shout out! My husband had the All American burger and loved it. The fries were special, lightly seasoned (didn't need salt) and pillowy soft inside. The half sour pickles were great! Lots of white tiles makes it very bright inside. Reclaimed wood and iron piping were included in the decor too. It seems kind of small, but when I back to visit the very clean and accessible ladies room, I noticed a much bigger second dining room with its own bar. It was not in operation at the time. I was unhappy that they only offered the extensive bourbon and drink list via a QR code. They should be proud enough of what's on offer to have quality printed lists. They didn't seem to have a problem with this in the past! I saw the photos on Yelp! They also try to steer you to use that for the food menu too but at least those are available in print (but missing a couple items, LOL). It didn't bother me because nothing would've been more appealing than the chicken and waffles. But, it might annoy you. Pro tip 1: the Fancy Sauce is perfect for dipping fries! Pro Tip 2: if you sit at one of the high tops by front window, your table will experience a tremor every time that front door slams closed. Keeping this one on the brunch list for sure.

The food we ordered was amazing. The service as well was amazing. This is a family friendly place so that is even better. We had short rib sandwich, american burger, and crispy shrimp. I had the hero beer which is a very good amber malt beer comparable to yuengling. Will return and I definitely recommend. Close to Land of Illusion.

It was just ok, nothing to special where I would say let's go back. The inside was very well decorated and the service was friendly and quick. The food even though I just got a chop salad off a very limited menu it was just ok nothing special just a normal salad with a lack of toppings other than 100s of very hard croutons along with hard bacon lol For 21.00 I got a bowl of lettuce with croutons and 1 glass of Moscato. **my friend ordered the se thing but paid for add ons like the scrambled egg lol and chees

Dinner here recently was a nice find. They have a really good menu with a lot of choices. Great beer selection and of course they also offer flights of bourbon. Overall pretty good selection. The bar dining area was packed so they took us around the corner to another area. It was a little awkward as the restaurant next-door was closed and I felt like they were using part of their restaurant for additional seating. This was the reason I knocked off a star. The ambience was just a little goofy. The food on the other hand was fantastic, as well as our service. The chicken tenders, which is something I don't normally get or excellent. I would definitely come back again.

We love this restaurant and we go a couple times a month. The staff is very friendly, the food is delicious and the restaurant is always clean. I have tried many different items from the menu, gyro tacos, wings, queso poutine fries, hamburger, Mac and cheese and everything is always delicious and the beer is always cold. read more

One of my favorite local eateries for lunch. There's usually a weekly special for burgers, lots of craft beer options, and of course BOURBON. Staff is very friendly here, we usually dine up at the bar but always get greeted right when we walk in. The menu is simple but crafty, definitely not an average burger on the menu and no American or cheddar cheese - only fancy cheeses but I do enjoy the variety. It's a little pricey but you get what you pay for. My new favorite right now is the guacamole hotdog! read more

Food and service were great and deserving of over 5 stars. I want to give this review a 3 star because after eating, I had to use the bathroom before leaving. I let the server know that I wasn't leaving, I just needed to use the bathroom. My coat and packed up food was at the table. Had I been asked then to relocate my coat and packed up food to the bar for whatever reason I would have obliged but that didn't happen, I just didn't want my things messed with while I was using the bathroom after my meal as I was eating alone. About 4-5 minutes later i come back to get my things and find someone else already at my table, my things nowhere to be seen, and I start searching frantically for my things. Someone had moved them to the bar without my knowledge or permission. This is NOT cool. Not only is it not ok to mess with people's things, especially when they express rly asked their things to be left alone, it also feels like I'm being kicked out. This is a customer service no no. It really soured an otherwise amazing experience. Don't mess with people's things while they are in the bathroom, especially when they made sure to tell you what was going on and it was only around 5 minutes away from the table. I had been told no one would mess with my things. Either ask a person politely to relocate their stuff while they are in the bathroom or leave their things alone. Very unprofessional. The 4 stars reflects the fact that the food and service otherwise was fabulous, but I'm pretty irritated at the way we parted and considered giving a lower review to reflect that. Do better. read more

Burgers were great, my sister in law had the Bernie Mac and it was excellent. I had the Thai Chicken lettuce wraps, they were a terrible choice, they are served cold and the meat was very salty. Not able to eat. The waiter never realized my meal went uneaten. I will try it again but will get the burger next time. read more

I don't give out 5-stars all that often, so from my standpoint, if I do - Then this place is Awesome, to be sure! I heard about this place on Facebook, and decided this was on our list to check out for our next date night. We made it out here yesterday, and I'm so glad we did. We have nothing but positive things to say about this place: From the helpful server who waited on us, to the interior decor, to the quality of the food - It was all spectacular. I'm not much of a hard liquor person, but do drink it on occasion. Not knowing much about bourbon, I had to admit my ignorance and ask for some suggestions from our server. She suggested the Angel's Envy, and it was very good! We ordered burgers for our entree. My wife opted to go with the Barnyard Burger, whereas I decided to try something totally new to my taste buds, and get the Waffle Burger. Both burgers were awesome!! Having never had a waffle burger before, I had no frame of reference on which to judge this one, but that doesn't matter - This waffle burger was straight-up killer! Both burgers came with fries, and their own version of a fancy sauce: A mixture of vinaigrette, ketchup, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper. That was good right there. Didn't get dessert, because honestly, we couldn't even finish our burgers (I got half of my waffle burger waiting at home for me tonight!), but next time we come here, we will likely consider splitting a burger so we can get dessert. Overall, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this place. We are definitely planning a return trip. Lots of things on their menu we want to try. If I were to offer any suggestion, it's one that may already exist for all I know - I just wasn't aware of it (and didn't think of it until after we had already left) - Perhaps offer Flights. So many bourbons, I didn't really know which one to go with. A flight would be have been a great option for me. This place could really use something like that. And again, maybe they already offer that, and I just wanted aware. If so, great - I'll consider that for my next visit. read more

Tonight was my first time eating here and it is the bomb-dot-com tasty. I really enjoyed their custom blend of steak and ground beef and you won't go wrong trying their Mac n cheese. Everything is rich and full of flavor. I definitely will be back to try all the other stuff! read more

Everything was delicious! Our family had two orders of the cauliflower appetizers with different sauces: Grippos and Hot Honey. So good. Each person ordered different burgers and they were all terrific. If you are a fan of Mac & Cheese, don't miss Bourbon's Kitchen's version. Sooo creamy and flavorful. The perfect comfort food. The employees were incredibly helpful and likable. If I had to strive to criticize something, it would be that fries could have been crispier. Next time, we will just ask for them to be made crisper. Easy fix. read more

We have been here several times. The beer selection is erratic. One time they are top heavy with IPA, which I do not like. Another time they have two different Stouts, which I love, that are outstanding. We would have gone to this quaint and unique place at least weekly if they had not dropped the single best item on the menu: the Chicago Dog. Anyone from Chicago would have recognized that their only missing elements were the authentic relish and the steamed bun. Not sure if the dogs were "Vienna", but they were good. Replaced the Dog with various Tacos, for which I have no fondness. Too bad. But, I have to say, we also stopped going after watching one sketchy looking character after another walking past the window and out among the cars. There are too many better options out there. read more

The best spot in Middletown - great food with quality ingredients. French onion soup with macaroni and cheese in it was out of this world. They have a lot of menu options that sounded good so I would definitely like to go back and try something else too. I had a hamburger with Mac and cheese on it, very good. I ordered the Chicago Dog ($5) at the counter & it was ready in about 5 minutes. An authentic Chicago dog is an all-beef frankfurter on a poppy seed bun topped with yellow mustard, chopped white onions, bright green sweet pickle relish, a dill pickle spear, tomato slices or wedges and pickled sport peppers. First of all, my hot dog had too much mustard. I could barely taste anything else. The hot dog did not pop when I bit into it & was squishy which signals poor quality. No poppy seed bun. For $5.00, I expected an authentic Chicago dog. Disappointing! I probably won't return because I expect a quality hot dog when I pay top dollar.

. It's small but clean and cozy. We were surprised when we walked in on a sat at lunch time - that it was not very busy. After we ate, we were even more surprised because it should be packed all the time! The food is really good - we had burgers and fries and it was the best burger on sourdough that I have had in some time. No salt on the table for the fries - then I realized they were so perfectly seasoned I didn't need salt. The special sauce stuff is really good, didn't even ask for ranch! A little pricey but seems like the world today and the food was so good, this time price was worth it. Waitress was perfect. For dinner my husband wanted to go back! He said we could order something different, that's how much he liked it. We went somewhere else instead and should not have!! I had my sister's surprise bachelorette party there. They let us come in early so we can decorate and the waitresses were so kind to help us set up decorations. The food was amazing, the appetizers are huge and almost count as a meal itself, the service was fantastic and we were always checked on. Great place to hang out and have dinner and drinks.
