This place is amazing! We were in from Colorado and went there based on recommendation from some locals. Very cute non-chain new American food and great drinks. Large selection of reasonably priced draft beers. Good entrees (burgers, tacos, wings, etc.) and impressive French fries. Cocktails are in the $12 range and very tasty. Was going to give them another try. Hours posted said they were open on Monday but we got there and doors locked with no sign to explain. Came back next night and they were open. I was wrong about them being permanently closed. They had shower curtains up .. neat way to manage the new covid social distancing requirements. This is my favorite local burger place. The bacon Gouda burger is to die for. You must try the smoked old fashioned.

What a little gem! Service is great. Food is great. Drinks are strong and taste good. They seemed to be trying their best to adhere to current coronavirus guidelines on additional separation and cleaning. Notes: The cauliflower wings are not fried or crispy but still really good! Reheat well! The sweet potato waffle fries taste like breakfast! But they do not reheat well, so I'd plan to finish them off while at the restaurant. The restaurant was not crowded, and there were plenty of tables. The server was nice. This is a typical American food choice place. The menu was on a qr scan. I think that is where my review takes a turn. We ordered an appetizer of chips that we weren't served. Our food came, and it was nothing like what we expected after looking at the Yelp photos before we chose the place. We ordered two burgers and wings. The wings were great...definitely 5 stars on that. The hamburgers were not what I saw in the photos. These burgers were the frozen round ones that you get in the freezer section at the grocery. I asked about what type of fries they had, and the server said typical steak fries, but they had waffle fries. She forgot to mention the waffle fries are sweet potato waffle fries. They came half cooked, so we ordered regular fries. They were not steak fries, but were normal fries. We would have ordered that from the start had we known they weren't the thick, steak fries. Anyway, the best part of the meal was the bun and the wings. They did comp our up charge on the waffle fries that we never ate, so they did try to fix that situation. I don't know if they were just out of the good meat for the hamburgers, but I was definitely disappointed in whatever they gave me for a hamburger. It wasn't worth the amount we paid. read more

Wow! Saw a post i. The Chowdown Cincinnati Facebook group. We live In West Chester and mage the trip on a Tuesday. The place was packed! Our server, Chase was so knowledgeable. The bourbon was on point with SO many selections. I ordered the special, double patties steak burger, blue cheese, bacon, fig jam, carmalized onions. Phenomenal!! All the dishes that came out of the kitchen looked delicious! Definitely put this on your list! read more

Thank you for Yelp! We were looking for a spot to grab food after family pictures and were able to find a place that was kid-friendly. When you walk in, the place is small and looks as though it's under construction or a scene from Dexter, but that's only because they are taking the pandemic seriously! We ordered queso and I learned the chips weren't gluten free, but they had grippos on the menu so I asked for a small bowl of grippos. Little did I know they were all crunched for toppings, etc. so the server went to a store nextdoor to buy me a bag of chips! Are you kidding me?! If that isn't service, well... The drinks were tasty (I had the margarita) and the burger and slaw was delicious. Others tried salad, fries, and pulled chicken and were very impressed. I don't see myself being back in the area for anything soon, but if you are, check them out! read more

I will have to admit I was skeptical seeing all the 5 star reviews of this location, so I had to try it myself just to see if it was true. Well as you can see I gave it 5 stars as well and unless something crazy would happen to say otherwise I am not sure how to give it less than 5 stars. Okay it may be overpriced to some and considering the location I would not expect prices to be in this realm, but the food proves it is worth it. The customer service that I received while here was some of the best I have had at any price point. I came here with every intention of getting the In and Out Burger as I haven't had one in years (haven't been to Cali in at least 7 years). But my waitress said if you have had an In and Out burger before you may not think it is the same, but if you eat theirs first you will think they are similar, so I decided on the fish tacos and WOW what a yummy choice. I have to say these are some of the best Fish Taco's I have had. A Huge piece of fish and even though there was only 2 of them I was almost full between them and the side salad that came with them. Now dessert, I love Creme Brulee and have to say I make a very good one at home often. So for me to even consider ordering it out is rare. But they offer it as a parfait, which I don't think I have had before. That and the other dessert, I was told was huge and shareable and I was already full and my co-worker hadn't even come close to finishing her burger and fries (which looked amazing and she said was very good). This dessert was well worth the extra calories, that I must somehow work off. Not only will I be back again, I will highly recommend this location to anyone that asks for something to eat in the area. Walking into the restaurant, it was obvious the patrons loved the place. It was our first visit. The waitstaff were very attentive. Our food was delicious. My husband ordered a patty melt and I had the chicken tenders. The coleslaw that came with it was delicious. We were lead past the main dining to an adjacent dining area that was a little bit quieter and less crowded. It was perfect for our party of eight. Awesome experience and such a gem found in a small city. I was traveling in Ohio for work last week when we decided to stop in for dinner and drinks. The atmosphere is very trendy and chic. It's small but the kind of small where you think hm this food is gonna be good. For drinks I tried the Moscow mule and the pumpkin martini. The Moscow mule was the best I've ever had and the martini was good too! I had to tried the ever so popular chicken and waffles because it seemed as the whole restaurant had ordered it for dinner. It was absolutely amazing. The chicken was so spicy but was complemented with the sweet waffle. I would get that again for sure! Our service was exceptional! What a delightful treat! We traveled to Middletown to see a theater show. We weren't familiar with the area, but tried Bourbon's Craft Kitchen based on Yelp reviews! It's small - so make reservations, check in online, or plan to go not at a dinner rush. We got there at about 5:45 PM on a Friday - we had checked in online ahead of time and waited only about 3 minutes for a table for our party of 2. The restaurant is beautiful - the surrounding strip center, not so much, but inside you are transported. It's a little more close quarters than I'd prefer, but it's a fun atmosphere. Because the tables are close, we ended up talking to our neighbors a bit. We had an Old Fashioned, which was excellent, and Bourbon Sour - something I'd never tried before. Both served with Luxardo cherries. Both amazing. Second round was Bourbon Sours for both of us, since it was a new flavor that we hadn't seen elsewhere. Our meals were amazing. I had the All-American with an egg added. The burger was cooked perfectly (juicy, not overdone), the bacon was crispy but not overdone, and all the flavors worked so well together. To save room for dessert, I didn't each much of the brioche bun, but I did try a bite and it was delicious. I had the white cheddar mac and cheese - it was good, but not as hot as I'd like. Not cold - just not as hot as I'd prefer. My wife had the Truffle & Gouda burger and was equally impressed. She got the sweet potato waffle fries and they were heavenly - incredibly fluffy inside with a good crisp on the outside. We split the salted caramel waffle for dessert and it was the perfect finale. The waffle is dense with delicious crunchy sugar bits, the salted caramel ice cream was cold (not melting, which I like!), creamy, and outstanding flavor. The whipped cream - which I normally don't even like - was dense and delicious. Our server, Lillian, was attentive and helpful. Lots of staff running around so things move quickly. This was an amazing experience. I'm already looking for other events in Middletown to attend so I can visit this special treat again. I'm impressed - I'm not sure how prices compare to other Middletown establishments, but it seemed very reasonable for someone used to Downtown Cincinnati/Over the Rhine prices. 4 bourbon-based drinks, 2 sizable burgers, 2 upcharged sides, and a shared dessert was $91. read more

I recommend this place because the food is always good. It is rare to find good, hot french fries at any restaurant, so I feel like that is a good reason to recommend any restaurant. However, I think the prices are extremely high. It is always very loud inside, (it is a really small dining room) so don't expect to come here to have a conversation. read more

Hell of a great place to eat Chicken! This gem is located in the crap center of Middletown OH. Middletown sucks. Only good thing it has going is this establishment. This place would be awarded maybe 5 stars if it wasn't for the drugged out grifter in the parking lot harassing my go workers and I. Great broasted chicken. Huge portions and nice staff. And we are back from the pandemic with a few updates but still amazing staff and food! I ordered the in-and-out burger with a bowl of their French onion soup as a side. The lovey mrs ordered the breaded cauliflower and some of their amazing sweet potato fries. I think this is Ken if the best 'hidden gems' within driving distance from Dayton and Cincinnati. We've never had bad service and the food is obviously something they take great consideration and pride in making in house. It's all just so darn good. As the name states, they are a bourbon bar and bourbons they do have. The had the some of the hard to find buffalo trace antique collection and few van winkles that you rarely get to see in public. They now have outside seating now which seems great for the patrons but kind of challenging for the staff as they are coming and going thru the entrance but you never see the servers not smiling. The folks working here treat you like family. The lovely mrs stated she doesn't know why this place doesn't have a line out the door and in the parking lot. I told her to hush as I live this quaint very small eatery just like it is. It's not a chain, it's your neighbors place and we should all support them like they are family... just like they treat us. read more

The potstickers and dynamite shrimp were fantastic. My friend's burger was delicious but my chicken sandwich left a lot to be desired. It didn't help that the guy at the table right next to us kept blowing his nose super loud and obnoxiously. I finally gave up trying to eat after the third time. Our server was on the ball and did a great job of taking care of our table of 10. Found the place through Yelp. I was looking for a local place and to avoid any chains. I halfway expected a normal bar with typical bar food. I started to realize that this place was a bit elevated from the usual "bar" experience. If you like whiskey and bourbons, they have a whole shelf dedicated to a variety of higher end choices. But let's talk about the food! And I started by letting my server guide me. I told I was thinking about the chicken potstickers for an appetizer, and asked her what her opinions were. Without hesitation she described the Dynamite Shrimp. These were absolutely delicious, and the sauce was a perfect enhancer. They are served piled into a mound of coleslaw. I'm not a fan of coleslaw, but I tried a small fork full, and I don't know what it was, but it seemed to be the absolute perfect blend of flavors. This coleslaw disliker (probably not even a word) finished up the entire plate, clean! I had the Bourbon's Melt burger (substituting in a brioche bun because I do not like sourdough), in from the first bite, you can tell this place doesn't just order frozen patties through Sysco! Definitely made in-house, and so tender and juicy! I don't think I can emphasize enough how the burger patty quality impressed me! If you come here, you must try one of their burgers! I am glad I chose what I did over the Chicken and Waffles (which my server also recommended) or the Baja Shrimp Tacos which look like would also be very good. And I leave without having dessert? I had the Salted Caramel Belgian Waffle (so got my waffle, anyway!). The size of the ice cream scoop was generous, and the waffle was fresh and warm, allowing the ice cream to start melting into it. My wife and I are in the area from another state and wanted to day drink at someplace new. We found this spot on Google maps and tried it out. Walked right in and sat at the bar. Jeff was working behind the bar and immediately started to serve us. He recommended a great Hazy IPA, Hop Electric, for me. The wife's Tito & soda was great; but pretty hard to screw that up. The wife has some food allergies, so Jeff was back and forth to the kitchen to make sure they could accommodate her. My burger, the Bernie Mac was outstanding . Ok so I am always looking for cool places with a great vibe. This place was recommended by a couple folks so we gave it a try tonight. The place is in a strip mall. Very quaint but very cool. First impressions from the staff is always critical but Adam and Jeff were so accomdating and informative. Killer bourbon selections and a great barrel aged Manhattan. The food was just so damn good. Cauliflower wings and maple sweet potato waffle fries are sooo good. We had a truffle Gouda Burger and Chicken & Waffles were delicious. May we the best burger I have ever had.
