I Took my car there they scratched up my rims removing the tires, I had to buy new lug nuts because the used the wrong socket and stripped the nuts . It's a bunch of kids running this place, the place has gone down hill. The care and quality has hit a new low. I will never take my car back to this place even if the tires were free. We got a flat tire on the way back from Chicago to Detroit. We called a few places for a "match" so we could get a real tire after AAA swapped to the donut. Our experience at Boven's Tire was the best. They found us a match, knew we were on our way and had us out in 5 minutes. RUDE RUDE RUDE. I called on Thursday Feb 13th to have tires exchanged on Saturday and for the price. I was asked the size ect and was quoted $30 a tire. My son dropped the truck off for me today as I am out of town and the woman at the front desk had no clue what was going on. She asked the guys in the back how much to charge. My son was given $245 which is well over the $120 quoted. I called them to ask why the price change and was given the answer because it is!!!! This is why sometimes shopping local doesn't make sense. I will got to Portage where they know how to treat customers so they return. I will never go to or recommend Boven Tire and after reading the last few comments others feel the same way... read more

I so appreciate their work! Staff is efficient and professional. Able to source a new tire for my car a few weeks ago that worked within my budget, and even put my spare on for me in the mean time. Went again today expecting to spend over $1000. They had a used tire on hand for my husband's truck and had me and my daughter out the door in 10 minutes. I will not go back. They told me I could use a credit card over the phone so my son could go get my tires. When I called, they said "no" they don't do that. When I got home after going to the store to pay, they had charged an extra $10.00 because I put it on a card -- but they didn't tell me they were going to do that. Took my car in to get a nail removed from a tire. When I went to leave, my car sounded horrible. I immediately put it in reverse, parked and got out of the car to ask what happened and the employee said he didn't do anything And it sounded like the exhaust. I drove down the road to a mechanic and he looked at it and said the lift they used on my car pushed the exhaust up into the body of my car. When we came back with my car they refused to take any responsibility for it. I went in for a nail in my tire and came out with the need for a brand new exhaust system. I have been to Boven tire several times. Local family business so I like to support them. A year ago I replaced the front two tires on my Durango. I saved up so I could replace my rear tires. I went in and the new guy working the counter asked if it was four wheel drive. I said yes. He said you have to do all four. I told him I didnt have very many miles on the front tires less than 10,000. Without looking he said we only replace all four tires on four wheel drive. I told him I would have to go somewhere else then. He said if won't do all four yes you will. So I will NOT be returning to Boven Tire on Red Arrow Highway in between Paw Paw and Mattawan. read more

Road trip Savior I don't really write reviews but their service got me typing. Had a punctured tire on the highway, was looking for a tire shop but no one would entertain without an appointment, the earliest available was after 3 hours. I called Boven Tires and they asked me to bring it in, fixed the tire on the spot, no BS and I was out in literally two minutes. It was like an F1 pit stop. Very good service I only gave 4 out if 5 due to them not carrying many tires in stock. I usually still go them for install but after ordering my tires elsewhere just to save me some time and money. But other than that you can pull in anytime during their service hours and they will get right on your car and have u on your way in no time. Everytime I take my car there I will see who seems like they are doing the most for me and tip them personally instead of using the tip jar inside. Altho I gave 4 out of 5 stars I still strongly recommend the place if your in the area mainly for tire repairs.
