Up until a few weeks ago I had no issues with this place. However, I went in for an oil change prior to heading to work and had an unpleasant, rather "ick" encounter with one of the guys working. Inappropriate comments were made that made me feel very uncomfortable to the point that I addressed it with my fiance and others later that day. My fiance, went to the place to address the matter and was basically blown off by the female manager. A few days later I went with my fiance at closing to again address the issue because I saw the guy working. Again, the female manager did nothing but avoid the confrontation, and with the insistance of my fiance for this man to apologize to my face, the guy tried putting it back on me saying "I interpreted what he said wrong." There was no other way to interpret his comments. I am both appalled that this worker was not dealt with and that the manager, especially being a female, did absolutely nothing, not even come speak to me directly. She should be ashamed and fired. So if you're a female, don't wear a skirt around the tall, bald man with a limp there and sure don't expect any kind of professionalism from the female manager. Corp. has been contacted so hopefully this place can be ran by someone with a backbone and by staff that can act right. read more

Okay. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but I have finally run out of patience. I have taken my vehicles to Tapper Xpress Lube a few times over the past few years, with varying results and wait times - most of them fair. It may sound like I'm being picky, but I have to say that one employee (I believe his name is Cody) has helped me make the decision to go elsewhere. I work in management in the Customer Service field, and I subscribe to the (Old-Fashioned?) values of respect, tolerance, and courtesy toward a customer, within a variety of circumstances. This young man just doesn't get it. I'd originally thought that the swagger, the leering, condescending attitude, the smirks, and the outright rudeness might have been reserved specifically for me, because it all felt so personal. Nope. The last (and I do mean "last") time that I was there, I sat and observed his behavior toward other patrons. He is an equal-opportunity jerk. This should have made me feel better ... It actually just left me wondering how and why he can possibly keep his job there. Tapper Family - You are a respectable feature of this small community, and we have watched you grow over the years. Tapper Xpress has always been helpful during our times of mechanical needs. Whether it was a routine oil change, tire maintenance, car wash or even a replacement rear window. They have been fair, professional and courteous. Just to be clear, Tapper Xpress is not a 10 minute or less oil change shop that rushes through their services, forgetting to tighten a filter or a drain plug. They are a resourceful mechanic shop who does their best to get your vehicle serviced quickly, but with quality work. I always go to Tapper for my oil changes. I used to love going there. But now I don't get as quality service like I did a year ago. The price has risin for less service. I have to ask for them to check all of my fluids, air filter, and tires. The last four services they have not done one or more at once. Last time they did check my air filter and said I would beed a new one next time. This time he did not even check it. Nor have they been checking my fliuds. I had to add antifreeze myself which isn't a problem but I shouldn't have to the same day when I ask them. read more

I work very close to Tapper express lube so I thought that I would try them out for the first time. I showed up and there were no cars in line of the two bays that were open so I pulled up to the first bay and waited. I've been there about five minutes when another subject pulled up in a pick up truck and he pulled up to the second bay. After waiting a bit they finished with the vehicle in the first bay and open the door and I began to drive-in and the attendant waved me off and started waving the other vehicle in Who had showed up after I did. When I rolled down my window to talk to the guy he was hollering at me and said the other guy was there first and I replied no I was there first so why are you letting him go first. Instead of coming out and talking to us he continues to whistle to the guy to come forward however the other guy in the truck waited and said no she can go first and so as I started to pull in the attendant is still saying you can come in but he was there first. He was not there first and The attendant never came out to find out or to have a civil discussion I decided to drive away because he wasn't very friendly I did not feel like I was going to receive any kind of decent service and was afraid because the attendant had an attitude and I didn't want him working on my car I will not be back if that's the way they treat people instead of coming out and having civil conversations that is not good business especially for a first time customer I felt like because I was a female and the guy in the big truck next to me was a male that they were trying to give him preferential treatment or something that may not be the case however I was not made to feel welcome nor confident that my Car would be a serviced professionally. read more
