I had documents that needed authentication services from the Chinese Consulate on Laguna St. After carefully reading through Yelp suggestions such as "be there before 7am, prepare to wait for 6 hrs, bring water/power bar/chair, wear comfy shoes, have all documents ready, ..." I went. Yet bothing had prepared me for the sheer nightmare. It goes without saying that the line is ridiculously LONG . The staff are rude; the place disorganized; no information is provided about which line is for which purpose, in fact just plain no information; the restroom is nasty; and everybody is on edge. After hours of waiting, I learned that first I have to get my documents notarized, then send them to the Secretary of State of CA for approval, and only after that fill out an application form and wait in line for a day at the Chinese Consulate to submit the form. If I am lucky and get approved, then I could come back another day for more of the same. The Chinese Consulate closes at 2:30 Monday through Friday. Thank you Yelpers for helping me finding Spencer. What a relief that Spencer took care of all 3 steps of authentication for me. His work is worth every penny. I highly recommend Spencer's service. read more

Then it needs to be authenticated in order for it to be used. I looked this business up by finding authentication services for documents to use abroad. I'm glad I found them because normally you would need to do this process in multiple steps and I really was relived because they offer a service that takes care of all of the steps at once.
