Beer: The sour beer they have is delicious, it has a lot of flavor. Service: Very good, they let us try the beers, and the waitresses were very friendly. Ambience: It's located in the Avalon Market Place, they had live music, very pleasant.

This was a super cute beer place! I am newer to the Avalon Park area and was down the street with some girlfriends for brunch when we decided to go check this place out. It was a beautiful day and so we sat down and we're able to order a couple flights and sample other beers. As you can see from their menu they have a ton of variety. The bartenders were very friendly and helped us choose the best beer for us. They let us sample whichever we pleased. The prices are what you would expect from a brewery in Avalon Park but I think it's worth it to go again. Also, in this little area is a market place that is super cute! It's nice to grab a beer and visit the shop or have a meal

Instead of waiting for Octoberfest 1 weekend a year, I can now get beer in Avalon Park every day? Ok, I'm sure I could do that before with a few of the businesses around, but nothing with beer in the title. The establishment is located on the corner of the building and there's an outside bar that encompasses both sides. The inside bar is right inside the door. They have quite a few of their own beers, a couple of guest beers, and also some wines and seltzers. Having just opened, this place gets BUSY, especially on a weekend. People waiting in line to get beer, snagging seats as soon as they open, and doing what they can to get a refreshing beer. We started with a flight then moved on to a few other beers. If you do secure a seat, it's a great spot to have a beer and choose from the many food venues at the marketplace. The staff is attentive except when they're not. As I said, it can get busy and take a while to get a refill or order another. But the staff is super friendly and various team members checked on us throughout the night. Thanks for coming to Avalon Park! I look forward to more beers at this place.

This was our first time visiting this newer location for Bowigens and we loved it! We normally visit the OG location but made our way out to this one today. The bartenders were so friendly and we loved the atmosphere. After realizing it's only 23 minutes from us in Lake Nona we have decided that this will be part of our new brewery rotation!!

I am so thrilled to have a brewery practically in my back yard! Situated in the newly opened Marketplace at Avalon Park, this Bowigens is a new location from the original Bowigens in Casselberry. We've been a few times now and they've added some new releases that will definitely keep me coming back. They offer not only a bunch of their own beers but also have some rotating guest taps. The variety is good with some easy drinking lighter beers as well as some great IPA's and sours for the more adventurous beer connoisseurs. The bar has both indoor and outdoor seating and the staff has been super awesome. It's a perfect place to relax and enjoy a beer or four. ;)

Being able to have amazingly fresh beer is your divine right, but to have options and a 10+ tap handle variety is pure capitalism. Yeah, I like to compare religion with business because... aren't they the same? I am joking, I apologize for hurting your feels. The thing is, it's been such a long time since Avalon and Waterford Lakes blossomed that it was just a matter of time since we got our first brewery. I mean, we have good pizza, good coffee, good BBQ, and now good beer. Yeah, things are heating in this part of town. And this won't be the end of it, more good stuff is coming. I hit Bowigens during Oktoberfest, I know that no one celebrates this holiday except people with a drinking problem, ahem, but if you do, they had a nice variety of German inspired beers. I wish all their tap handles were German beers, but I can take two. Next year, I expect more German beers, after all, the big breweries do it and it attracts a lot of people. Other beers are also good here, the space is nice and comfortable, very urban but never crowded. This is a good location and I think more breweries will open nearby soon. The trend is: good beer pulls good food. Let's get trendy.

I was pretty excited to hear Bowigens was coming to Avalon Park! Located in the new Marketplace, this little brewery has an indoor/outdoor seating area with local brews on tap. This place is definitely fun and worth a stop if you're in the area!

I visited this bar while at Avalon marketplace. The staff was very kind and friendly and wanted to help to make good choices. They have plenty of seating outside and plenty of seating inside. They have wonderful signage as to what they have to offer. I wanted to get some cider, but they were in a can, I wish that they were on tap. My husband got the Scottish ale, and Bo-berfest. They were able to give a sample so that you can try it before you purchase it. I think that it was Six dollars and seven dollars for both beers. I saw that they had wonderful flights and people were really enjoying them. We will definitely go back another time and try different things. Overall, great for this area there is nothing like this around here so it will do very well!

I was so excited to come here! There's many vendors so you can pick any kind of food you like. We got the following 1. Nachos were decent but not amazing tbh. And the portion isn't as big as other places but it's ok 2. Crawfish etouffe. Wow it was so delicious! Super savory and spicy, the crawfish size was large, and the rice was perfectly cooked. The small size was only $7 and decent sized portion so I definitely recommend to share or just try it out 3. Korean fried chicken. Sweet and spicy and a deep savory flavor. Also crispy and juicy. Comes with tortilla chips but they were kinda stale. Still worth it for the chicken! 4. Jambalaya. It's different than the one I've had before which has a red sauce in it, but this one is more like a dirty rice than jambalaya so I wouldn't get it again, but it does taste pretty good! There's also a cute wine shop with wine slushees and beer and ice team and anything you can think of! The weather was so nice when we went so it was lovely hanging out outside with live music in the background ! Def check this out if you're in the area (:

The perfect spot to grab a cold one- I love having this brewery in Avalon! I especially love that they always have a great selection of sours which are my favorite. The menu is always rotating so there's always something new. Also, they play the BEST music imo ;) Lots of early 2000s alternative/pop punk which is right up my alley!

If you're looking for a good beer, indoor outdoor seating, and just overall good vibes - look no further! We frequent Avalon Park and I'm so happy there's a place to get a good, unique beer in an awesome setting. Let me start with the staff - they're amazing! They let you sample beers and are knowledgeable on the selections, often providing recommendations based on your preferences. I typically only sit at the bar, so I'm not sure how easy this experience would be if you were at a table. This is part of the Marketplace, so you can easily go and order food from one of their many locations and they'll bring the food to you. Another plus in my opinion just offering different selections. Several bars in the area but it's nice to have brewery vibes and a chill atmosphere.

We had some time…read moreto kill before checking into our hotel in Orlando, so we figured we'd hunt down a brewery. Apple Maps was zero help -- it kept suggesting every bar and grill in existence instead of actual breweries. Thankfully, our Minnesota HopPassport saved the day. We pulled up nearby breweries and landed on Rockpit... and wow, we're so glad we did. We were greeted the second we walked in, which instantly set the tone. For our first round, my husband grabbed the Stupider IPA and I ordered the Paloma Possible cocktail. We fully planned on having one drink and heading out -- but they were so refreshing on a hot Florida day that we couldn't resist staying for another. Round two: he went with the 1840 Pre-prohibition lager, and I tried the Motorboatin' Florida agave lager. Both were seriously delicious. The whole place had such a great ambiance and vibe, reminding us of the breweries we love back home in Minnesota. If we're ever in the area again, Rockpit will absolutely be on our list. Cheers!

As a loyal fan of Orlando's local brewery scene (shoutout to my neighborhood favorites Tactical and Ten10), I don't venture far from my comfort zone. But every now and then, I'll travel a daring five miles for a place that feels like it was plucked straight out of the Pacific Northwest and this is that place. The beer? Amazing. The staff? Incredible. The space? Open, welcoming, and plenty of seating to settle in for a while. Now let's talk about the only adventure here: parking. The immediate lot is small and can feel like you're competing in the Orlando Parking Olympics. But there's additional parking across the street to the left near some office buildings. Finding parking in Orlando sometimes feels as hard as snagging a spot in NYC, but trust me, it's worth the effort. They're constantly brewing something new okay, maybe not every single week, but it sure feels like it and somehow it's always excellent. There's always something fresh and creative on tap. So yes, I absolutely recommend this place. If you can park, come on in. You won't regret it.

He brews beer like some people paint master pieces. The beer here is next level, especially if you appreciate the nuances of craft beer. The first time I was here Travis explained the concept of the 3 foot raven or crow, but upon making this review, the mythology escapes me. Still... whatever they are doing here is working. And... if you love craft beer, this is a must visit. There is beer, mead, wine and mixed drinks. And they have a dedicated food truck with some decent options. The BEER: Papa Midnight coconut Imperial Stout 10.8% ABV... so imagine a mounds or almond joy, but it is a stout. The nose is all toasted coconut. And it is so very great. Da Minted peppermint Imperial Stout 10.8% ABV... so I saved this one for last because I thought it would be sweet, and it is not. Dark chocolate and mint. Very delicious.... The Hop & Haze IPA 5.6% ABV... this a great hazy, white grapefruit, clean flavors and totally crushable She's Not Rude, Just Chai spiced red ale 5.5% ABV... the chai makes this red ale smell sweet and it is anything but that Beauregard's Berry End fruited sour 5.8% ABV... has a sweet jam nose, it is a sour, and it is sour, but those jam notes make it next level... "it's a little earthy and that comes from the mushrooms" To Sir, Wit Love gose 4.7% ABV... Light flavorful, slightly salty, slightly sour, not everyone's palette, but definitely mine Path to Gold golden ale 5% ABV... so very crushable, this is your everyday beer for everyday people She's a Bonnie Lass Irish Red 5.8%... wow, the taste is indescribable, it is red ale with balance A Norse of a Different Color hazy IPA 7% ABV... so high in IBUs, great mouth feel, if you like a piny hoppy IPA, you will be a fan Oolong Time, No See session mead 6% ABV... I am totally in love with this session mead. So graceful, tasteful and unique. I think this is my favorite!!! The Hummingbird Special sweet mead 11.8% ABV... says fermented Florida wild flowers honey, but it has a sweet and nutty almost peanut flavor. It is super sweet and quite tasty. Like a sweet wine. TT hard Cider 6.6% ABV... dry cider, like an an English cider, really liked it I so wish ai lived closer to Twelve Talons. So many great and unique flavors in craft beers, ciders and meads.
