As we walked around, I saw several arcade games that instantly brought back memories from the early 1980s -- the same kinds of games I grew up playing. The highlight for me was the new Star Trek pinball machine. Even though it's not one of the older classics, it quickly became my favorite. Watching the Enterprise light up and move up and down was just awesome, and sharing that moment with my kids made it even better. I also want to mention how impressed I was with the bathroom. It was very clean and surprisingly private -- the stalls have walls that go all the way from the ceiling down to the floor with no gaps, which you rarely see in public restrooms. It made the whole visit feel even more comfortable. Spinners is a great mix of nostalgia, modern arcade fun, and thoughtful details. We had a fantastic family day.

We were greeted as soon as we entered and the staff was friendly and personable. Very welcoming. We visited on a Saturday night and it was not too crowded, leaving us with plenty of options to roam around and play any games. My old childhood favorites brought back memories...Galaga and the finger blistering Track & Field. They are located in the back area next to the movies. There is plenty of parking available. They currently sell soft drinks and I was informed they will soon have their liquor license to sell beer.

Let's go! I was sad when the Columbia location closed down, but Gaithersburg is still rocking and I think this arena is far more interesting than the Columbia one. The arena is the right level of dark with fog machines running too. There are several platforms with various access ramps. My favorite details is that a few platforms have a grate where players can shoot down at others below (watch out, they can shoot up at you too!). There are always rapid fire and mega power Gems for upgrades and a third that rotates by game (invisibility, invulnerability, dark thief), so definitely sign up for 3 games if you can to experience the full rotation. The prices are reasonable, especially in today's economy. There is a water cooler to refresh yourself between games, because you will work up a sweat between the crouching and quick moving around while wearing a phaser pack. It's our favorite workout, to be honest. There is an arcade with a variety of games, including prize games, driving games, and shooting games. The main area also has concessions to snack on. Overall, if you want some workout and fun, check out Shadowland.

The laser tag area and equipment looked good and was approved by the kids. They played two rounds and ate in between. It was a very successful party and according to my son his favorite one. We also got ice cream cake from them and it was good. I would recommend for children's parties.

I remember there was a Dance Dance Revolution machine if I remember correctly and a Guitar Hero arcade machine. This one I believe has the largest selection of games and is possibly the largest location out of the 4 locations GameOn offers. The service, food, and cocktails are great and they provide a nice laid-back experience that makes a great date night or day activity with your family!

Not a couple random machines tucked in a corner, but enough games to keep you busy way longer than you planned. The cocktails? Oh they're gimmicky. Fully. And that's the fun of it. They're colorful, dramatic, a little extra, and totally fit the vibe. If you want a quiet, serious cocktail moment, this isn't that. If you want something playful in your hand while you dominate skee ball, you're in the right spot. Now the food -- this surprised me. The cheesesteak egg rolls are a must. Crispy, cheesy, packed with flavor. Absolutely order them. The buffalo chicken sliders were also a win. Messy in the best way, saucy, juicy, and perfect for grazing between games. What really made it though was the staff. They genuinely look like they're having a good time working there. Not fake smiles. Real energy. That kind of vibe changes everything and makes you want to hang out longer. Game On knows exactly what it is and leans all the way in. Fun first, good food, playful drinks, great energy. We'll be back.

Their appetizer sampler is fantastic, with plenty of food and great flavors. Unfortunately, the alley we were on last time was terrible. The lane itself was ok (there was a loose floor board I steered clear of!) and the vibes were lively -- as expected for NYE. The place was clean, which is always appreciated and the bowling shoes were pretty worn and a bit slippery, but no biggie -- more of an FYI than a complaint. Our issue was more with service. The service was all over the place. We ordered food and drinks, and while one drink came quickly, it took two reminders and about 40 minutes to get the rest of our stuff. We ordered an appetizer platter that was $36.99, and it was on the small side -- plus, some items were missing. Nobody gave us a heads-up that parts of it weren't coming, so we had to keep following up to figure out what was going on. It felt like we were advocating for ourselves the whole time, which got frustrating. Another FYI: The lane cuts off exactly at 2 hours. We booked from 5:30 to 7:30, but we didn't start until 6. No extra time for the late start -- it just shut off right at 7:30. As for the food, it's your typical bar food quality. Not bad, but we were pretty hungry by the time it finally showed up, so quicker service would've definitely made a difference. All in all, decent vibes but confusing service and slow food made it a mixed experience.
