This is the second time we ( my wife and I ) have visited this establishment, the first for a wedding party and last night was a birthday dinner party. Each time was delightful and the building being well maintained. The structure is modern and up to date with all of the state of the arts equipment you may need to celebrate any function! I would recommend renting this place out, there's plenty of space to move around with plenty of parking out front as well as the back of the building.

Spacious, plenty of parking and everyone in attendance (wedding reception) raved about how they loved the venue too. I am not sure how long this venue has been in existence, but I travel nearby all the time and had no clue it existed. Well now I am in the know, and I will definitely keep it in mind when deciding on venues from a variety of upcoming events. I am not sure if the venue provides food/beverage, but they do allow one to bring in food and beverages... which is a plus. Looks like the office hours for this place is daily except Sunday... open until 3pm if you have questions or concerns. So if you're thinking about a venue to house/seat 200 guests or less consider this place. Have fun and enjoy life :)

Since the location is out of the way, the restaurant being open to the public as a regular restaurant didn't work out but now it is open for special events (you can find them on their website or Facebook page), parties or weddings. I miss being able to just go there for dinner, enjoy the view and the beautiful house but understand why they had to change the operation. The food is worth the price, the staff is friendly and they are happy to show off the restaurant and allow you to walk around and check it out.

I don't like that they tore down the detached Carriage House that was also on the property. The House is beautiful and unique with history. I am perennially disappointed with the golf course and I have been to only one function in the House since it was restored. The food was nothing remarkable and the service was even more non-descript. I don't know what they charge for functions there, but I thought that maybe they would have improved the surroundings a bit more to accommodate the status of the Obici House, the surrounding out buildings, clubhouse, 18th hole and driving range. It looks like they did the bare minimum to the house. I don't want to tarnish this review too much since I haven't been there for an official event within the last year. I noticed that they are having an open house soon and I plan to check it out and update my review. I would recommend that if the price seems to high for your event, then pass on Obici House until you start seeing better reviews on the service and food.

They have a huge event space that you can rent out for anything, and it faces out onto the water which was a gorgeous view. I also did personal training here with Sierra Meacham and for anyone looking for a personal trainer but doesn't know where to start, like I was, I highly HIGHLY recommend reaching out to Sierra even just for a talk. She helped me personal train and helped me understand meal prepping and what to look for in my foods and what I need nutrients-wise for my goal as well as my weight goals! She kept pushing me to my PRs are farther:) She is so understanding and takes every problem I had whether it was with meal-prepping or weight-lifting posture hesitancies and how to overcome. I highly recommend her but definitely reach out and check in with her! She can book up quickly because of how awesome and thorough she is with her clients!! She can also guide you through the different rooms in Riverview such as the redlight therapy and saunas and what not and the importance of them on the body physically and mentally. They also have networking nights and people with different small businesses or want to get out there with the public and socialize I highly recommend checking in when the next night is and go... it's a lot of fun 100/10 recommend!! #personaltraining #mealprep #she'llsetyoustraight! #networking

Because they're money hungry here and would rather overbook than make sure they have enough rooms to take care of paying guests. End up in a room with a tiny, junk pull out 'couch.' I'm a Titanium Elite member and they didn't care about me, so they sure won't care about you either. They gave me 2,000 points for the inconvenience.. what's that? $20 of points? I also got a yummy sausage, egg, and cheese English muffin. It was nice to see actual food offered, other play cafes we've been to in the area just offer things like bags of chips and goldfish crackers. They had 2 or 3 sandwich options for lunch too! Love the ambiance of the cafe's sitting area. Also lots of parking which I appreciated. The staff were very nice and the play area was clean! I also appreciated getting our full 2 hours that we paid for because a different play cafe we've been to had us start cleaning up at 12 'til when I booked an hour play session and it was more expensive too. I like Little Bean better :) One suggestion I would say is to have more seating for parents in the play area itself. There were only 2 benches in there for the adults that were right next to each other, so most of the parents kept sitting on the floor in various spots around the room. Wouldn't normally have a problem with this, but since I'm pregnant it's a little harder to get up and down from the floor so much to chase around my toddler through the different areas. I've noticed this at other places too though, so maybe it's just a play cafe thing lol. Just a thought! Otherwise definitely worth a 5 star rating today that justified the 30 minute drive for me and we will be back sometime soon! Thanks for a wonderful morning!!
