We headed to our lane about 20 minutes after arrival. This bowling alley was set up differently than any other I'd ever seen. There were a few steps down to bowl and the tables were behind each lane. There was no seating near the lane. I ordered a chicken quesadilla which was yummy. The chicken was in some type of sauce bursting with flavor. I also tried someone's chicken wing and it was hot and delicious. It was very loud which is to be expected, plus they had a small arcade. Our server was friendly but I think a little overwhelmed as we didn't see her as frequently as I would have liked. This bowling alley is located in the naval base across from the commissary. The food is ok, simple bar food and drinks. Bathrooms are decent, they have baby changing tables. Nothing spectacular about this location other than it is more private and they do hold events for holidays. You can also have birthday parties here. This year we attended the free Christmas event they had which was awesome! Free bowling for adults & children, free pictures with Santa & Mrs Claus (they provided two copies per family), free popcorn, free breakfast & drinks (waffles, eggs, potatoes, apple juice), free face painting, character balloons, prizes, gifts & kids could also paint their own bird houses. My toddler was ecstatic and had so much fun! We will definitely attend next year. All the staff was so nice. The MWR ticket & travel office is also located inside this bowling alley where you can find pamphlets on all of the nearby attractions and discounted rates.

Had to wait about 10 mins to get us signed up for a lane, get shoes, get balls. Once at our lanes, within moments, we had our server come by and ask if they could get us anything. We ordered food and drinks. Food was tasty, drinks were cold! We loved those chicken wings and flatbread pizza! As for the bowling part, we did have fun, even if the scores did not reach our expectations. We had big dreams, but little skill to achieve them. I am basing my review on the activities that me and my daughter experienced. There is lots of parking at the event and it is free.. which is great to see.... Walking in, we were shocked at how expensive everything was. You are literally spending $50+ per hour per person. We did the mini golf. The course was very small. 18 holes in the dark with glow in the dark balls. It started out great but when we reached around hole 6 a group of 12-15 teenagers came in and started speed running through the course.. they were hitting their balls all over the place. My daughter and I had to step aside for and let them speed their way through. After that there were a couple of older kids that were hitting their balls very hard and they were flying off the course.. one of those balls almost hit my daughter in the head.. they really need some supervision in the mini golf room. Otherwise somebody is going g to get seriously injured... Next we want to the arcade section. My daughter loved the VR experience items. But at $5+ dollars for 5 mins.... It adds up really fast. They have a little store where you can get prizes in exchange for tickets. But the big problem is that there are very few machines that actually give you tickets when you play them. There were a couple of claw machines that gave you a chance to win 100'or so tickets. But when you need thousands of tickets to buy anything.. you are literally spending a lot of money. Most of the machines were claw based machines where you could win a prize or the coin push machines which are hard to win anything out of. Overall, I was not a big fan of Apex. It is very expensive for what you get.. you can easily spend over $100 per hour in this place to try all the different things. Unless you have a big promo or coupon that gives you a huge discount.... It is not worth the money. The other big issue is that there is very little supervision of all the kids running around. Most of the staff look like they are high school students working a summer job. Like I mentioned earlier, my daughter almost getting hit in the head with a golf ball is unacceptable!!! Highly don't recommend coming here unless you can get a huge discount.

Good size crowd but still plenty of room and game to easily get to and play. Started off with great service at the front desk, I believe the guys name is Cleary. He was very welcoming. We explained this was our first time in and asked for recomendations. He was very friendly and cordial and explained how everything worked. At the end of the visit we realized he gave great advice that allowed us to fully enjoy our visit. The vibe and ambiance was really good and had the true arcade feel. People were laughing and having lots of fun just like us. There were people enjoying food and drinks and relaxing in groups in the dining area, playing duck pin bowling, video games including guitar hero, playing pinball, skeetball, basketball shoot and football throwing games. I mean there was real fun being had by all including us. Didn't have food but had beer and played pinball and video games. He was a really nice, funny, pleasant, well mannered young gentleman. He brought us the food and actually took some time explaining everything and made genuine conversations, making jokes and being extremely friendly, not only with me but my whole family, he was also extremely fast and understanding and got us everything we needed even though I'm sure he was busy and had things to do! I usually don't write reviews regarding servers but this young man named Jamari really stood out, it truly feels really nice when someone who's a server takes out time from they're day to be genuine and have a conversation, and it really sets the mood for the rest of the experience you have. Especially not knowing how that can change someone's whole day. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We didn't order any food, but we did try some drinks: the Boozy blue Long Island (9/10) and the Strawberry splash margarita (8.5/10). Both were decently good. Bowling was really fun, we def went at a good time early in the evening because closer to when we were on our last round, around 7 pm, the place was packed! Def will be back again soon!
