    Fortunato's Special Steak Sub

Fortunate Special Steak A cheesesteak with pepperoni. THE BREAD?!?!? OMG the fresh soft bread with perfect toasting on the outside. The meat could've used some seasoning, I added the garlic they provide in the place. I also would've like the sun to be a tad fuller. Mozzarella Sticks Perfectly golden brown. Good cheese pull and the marinara that comes with it was warm and tasty. This was defiantly worth the stop.

Came for a slice of pepperoni. They did not char the pepperoni enough. It was basically cold. The sauce was bright and fresh. The dough was chewy on the inside with a crisp outer layer. The slice was more rigid than floppy. Overall this was a pretty good slice of pizza that was tasty and reasonably portioned.

I like pizza. I like good pizza and I really like a deal. Fortunato's take care of all of that. 2 slices of pizza topped the way you like and a fountain drink for less than $7. I really enjoy thinner crust pizza with a nice crunch and a good chew. The parking is a little tough but hey you need to suffer a little for your Pizza.

    pepperoni, mushrooms, and cheese

I have been a customer of the abingdon location since the 80's i recently bought a pizza from Fortunato's on Saturday unfortunately it was the worst pizza that i ever purchased. Im not sure what the problem is but ever since they have new owners the quality of they food has suffered its a shame because they have been a part of this community for a long time. But something needs to change!!!!!

Not so good. Taste like crap and the fries are cold. They forgot to delivery a drink with my order.

Food is fine but the employees don't wear gloves when cooking- very unsanitary. I will likely go somewhere else that does use gloves.

They offer happy hour all day there to welcome summer and to get people use to the bar! Couldn't beat the deals - half price apps and lots of drink specials. Ordered a margarita that was okay. Very tequila forward. Also got the lemon cello martini that was good. Finished with Italian old fashioned and it was tasty too. Got the burrata app and the mussels app. Both absolutely delicious! Bread service was not good - very dry bread. Not like a nice crusty Italian bread. Skip the bread. Beyond the good food, the service here is spectacular! There was a gentlemen on a sports coat that greeted us at the door and explained the outdoor bar specials that had one other person there. He seated us. He was also running around helping all of the customers. You can tell he enjoys his job! Our server was also working hard and was beyond busy but yet very attentive. They know how to give excellent customer service!

Box Hill is officially in my top 3 of best crab cakes in the area. I just need to go back to Koco's and see which one is my official number 1. For those that are curious, I'm comparing Box Hill to Koco's in Baltimore and Pappas in Glen Burnie. If you're from the area you know exactly what I'm talking about. So of course we had to order the pizza. The pizza... Wow. We had the Boxhill deluxe which was everything on the pizza. Ingredients from the meats to the cheese were so fresh. The sauce was perfect for the toppings, and the CRUST... perfect amount of crust and not too thick. I never had New England pizza and never knew what it was till now. Real game changer. I decided to also order the crab BLT. WOW... Each bite I took, lumps of crab meat just kept falling out the sandwich. So in order from last to first. 3. Pappas 2. Koco's 1. Boxhill? If y'all go it's definitely a great experience. Not just for the food but the hospitality and great customer service. Nico what's going on man! Keep doing what you're doing!!

I had the "beef ravioli" a few days ago...the "marinara" sauce is sugary Ragu out of a jar at best. Still the same cheap bread that so obviously came frozen and fell off the back of a Sysco truck. Nice enough people I suppose and the service is perfectly adequate...I guess the family that owns it is trying...but I sure wish the food quality was 3x better at Enotria. Hire a far better chef, charge a couple bucks more if you need to, and buy far better quality ingredients. I'm no restaurant owner, but perhaps the solution is to cut the menu size by a 1/3rd and do the remainder far better. I'd be a regular at Enotria 2-3 times a week if it were actually high-end, fresh, quality Italian. There are carry out places in the area that have significantly better food than Enotria (Italian Sensation being a long time example). Vito's in Cockeysville is 3x better every single time. Drive to Reisterstown and Kecco's is excellent (a bit far away, admittedly). Liberatore's in Bel Air, while not close to as good as Vito's...is certainly better than Enotria and has picked it up during 2025 with a new chef. Enotria is in a tie for dead last Italian food in its area with Basta Pasta in Fallston...that would be the other slop Italian place in the area. I'd gladly pay more for a lunch or a dinner at Enotria if it were much higher caliber Italian food...and I suspect a lot of others would too. Enotria as it stands is completely cliche, marginal, "least common denominator" Italian food at most. Just because you play the same Dean Martin songs on repeat and yell "Bella Bella" to every woman that walks through the front door doesn't mean the food is any good.
