I joined about two years ago for kickboxing (PJ, Chris, and Justin are incredible), but really appreciated that the membership allows you to divide up your classes however you like. I ended up taking up jiu jitsu and recently started kali escrima with Ian - my only regret is that I didn't start sooner. Marital arts is such a humbling experience, and walking into a new gym can be so intimidating. O2 is perfect for every experience level from the individual who has only seen action movies to the high level grappler and those who spar regularly. As a whole, they call it the O2 fam and it truly feels like it! The gym is actually owned by Mike and Chris, two brothers, who truly give it a family feel. They, and all the coaches, are amazing at what they do and lead their classes with expertise and a lot of humor. And as another reviewer mentioned, this is definitely somewhere where you have to check your ego at the door because it's a fam and we have to take care of each other. O2 is on the second floor above Goodwill along Kamehameha. There's plenty of parking and the lot entrance is on Hekaha. During the pandemic they kept the gym open and prioritized membership safety with online classes then grappling with dummies and working in pods. They offer times throughout the day and on weekends. Although they are not opened 24 hours right now due to COVID, this place is great and I don't have to wait for any machines or weights. I can't wait till the classes open up so I could try it, too. Cons: They need to clean...and I mean clean the dusts on the walls and floors. This is minor and could be resolved quickly but it makes me wonder how often they clean when I see the same dust piles week after week in the same area. The women's restroom smells ALL the time. My ball striking has improved significantly, striping my shots with less effort. The results speak for themselves. You have the option of either having your lesson at Newtown driving range, or at his simulator at Sports Box in Pearlridge Mall. I've chosen to do my lesson at the driving range (note: you do have to buy your own balls). But his package also includes a few hours of practice at the simulator a week (golf practice indoors in AC....yes please!). AND it includes one on course 9hole lesson a month. Such a great deal!! I also need to mention that DJ himself is a great golfer. I've seen him play and am amazed by his golf IQ. It's no wonder he's won multiple tournaments. And the fact that he's willing to share his golf knowledge to others, is something that should not be passed up. Go ahead and book your first free lesson now! You won't be disappointed.

When coordinating with them, if we needed to cancel or reschedule the event with DJ he was more than accommodating to give options to reschedule pending the weather. The space was clean and inviting. His staff made the whole process easy from check-in, safety briefing as well as taking care of our large party of 35 people throughout the night. In addition, he did accommodate some extra time in the space because of the weather. They also allow to supply your own food and drinks which helps on the cost as well as being very affordable for large parties. Thanks again for a great experience.

The right side is weights of all kinds, workout machines, cardio machines, an indoor turf with sled and many more. Upstairs is cycle room for cycling class and racket ball rooms. They offer training and workout classes. You can also bring family remembers with you on the weekends. The workers there are always nice and accommodating. The best part is plenty parking and the gym doesn't stink.

I am in constant amazement of how patient, caring, supportive and structured all of the leadership and staff are when caring for all of the kids in the class. My son is currently a Green Belt/5 years old and loves Oahu Taekwondo Center. Leadership finds a way to care for newer kids who are adjusting while at the same time maintaining order of the rest of the class. To be able to see all of the kids smiling, learning and displaying foundational character traits is such a joy to see. The Best activity/discipline we have enrolled my son in to date. I emailed a couple places and Rey quickly responded to my inquiry and I scheduled an initial visit. Feeling very inadequate like someone who forgot their lightsaber at a Star Wars convention, I walked into his gym. Rey is so friendly and mellow it's was like talking to a long time friend. He listened to my concerns and set up a program customized for me. As I continued going, I got very comfortable at his gym, where folks are nice and only focused on their individual fitness. I originally went only to lose more weight but Rey taught me so much more. He customizes your regime according to you. I have a significant slouch and Rey has helped me with corrective posturing. He has taught me about safe weight lifting (to prevent injuries), nutrition (how to eat) and techniques to use at home. Rey is truly a master in all aspects of health and fitness. I feel better, have more energy and my posture has vastly improved. I find exercising a huge part of my routine now. My membership actually was supposed to end December of 2020 making my 2 year contract but within that 5 months of lockdown, my account froze and I misunderstood 2 year equals to 24 payments and I still have 3 payments to go as of this month February so, thank you very much to the business owner I spoke to for clearing that up. Also, I encourage anyone that wants to get fit for the new year with Anytime Fitness because it's a good little gym, they do offer training for people who wants to really lose weight or build strength. But if you don't want to commit to a contract then by all means necessary don't.
