This was a Horrid dining experience for us. Our first and last with BoxoCrap. We ordered for delivery off the menu from the 5701 SH 121 location: A8, H1 w/ Fried Rice and H3 w/ Noodle. The one star is being generous as there are no negative selections. The A8 was not what we were expecting. This was grease paste dispensed from a pastry bag into a fryer. Disgusting. Little 1/4 inch nuggets of fried grease extrusion. H1 and H3: Nothing like the pictures. H1 meat: Not sure that it was actually chicken. This was my sweethearts and I tried some and it seemed very stringy for chicken. Fried rice was just rice soaked or boiled in soy sauce. H3 meat: IS NOT steak. It is stew beef cut from a very old very tough cow. Not cooked on any hibachi either. Rather, it is boiled, probably in a wok, to enhance its toughness and, totally lacks of any flavor. The noodles were instant mushy paste once on the pallet and very glue-like. The vegetables for both the H1 and H3 consisted of overcooked/overboiled broccoli and lots of onions (quartered) which sat in a salty greasy pond of soy sauce. The egg roll appetizers that accompany the H1 and H3 are crunchy on the outside but mushy paste on the inside with no filling beyond a couple strands of grated carrot. I will only recommend this restaurant (and I'm using that term in the most loose and liberal sense) to people I don't like. We will never order from or visit this place again. read more

Soooo, where do I start. The food is not cooked in front of you. I order the combo chicken and shrimp, with fried rice well done, meaning, leave it on the grill longer. I didn't know it would be coming out of a pot. They found that funny--in a smart azz way. I was honestly surprised by this place and it's safe to say I have a new place down the street from my house that's worth coming back to! It's basically hibachi food and quality minus the show and the high price tag. They have meals that you would find at a hibachi grill, such as chicken or steak in teriyaki sauce boxed with a side and veggies. Get the fried rice always bc they don't upcharge you! Prices ranged from $7 ish to $10 ish so not bad! I hoped to get a little more meat but the quality was good for the price!! I also ventured and tried the sushi, can't remember which one, but I enjoyed it! They all seemed welcoming and it was a pretty decent size. The ambience is neat and clean which I appreciated. Decided to try out the new hibachi restaurant that just opened across from Nebraska Furniture Mart and was very impressed. First thing to note is that the food is excellent. I went with my girlfriend and we tried two sushi rolls and the triple mix (steak, shrimp, chicken) hibachi. The rolls were outstanding (Green River and King Kong). I could have (and would have) eaten 2 of the King Kong rolls myself. The hibachi was also very good with the shrimp being the standout winner and the fried rice being so-so. This place is definitely organized around delivery/take out. We ate in the store but will definitely do the takeout next time. And there will be a next time. This is a great sushi/hibachi delivery restaurant for The Colony and surrounding area. Head and shoulders above your standard Chinese delivery fare. My family and I were looking for a Hibachi restaurant. After visit two restaurants that weren't Hibachi, we stumbled across this one. Upon arrival two employees were sitting down watching TV. The employee taking the orders acted as if we annoyed him by patronizing this business. He didn't greet us nor was he friendly when we placed our order. We ordered 6 meals to go. During our wait, my 19 year Godson asked him for some chop sticks and asked was he holding them properly. The attendee game him some kids chops and said "read that". My other son, who is 11 years old, tried to purchase a drink after 5 minutes of being at the counter I not being acknowledged I walk over and asked if they would take my son order. I came to Boxo and ordered a salmon avocado roll and chicken hibachi. The price is definitely affordable and the portion size was huge. They were very friendly and the decor was clean and bright. This would be a good place to grab a quick bite to eat and leave with leftovers. My salmon roll was ok, but the rice was hard and dry, similar to the way supermarket sushi tastes. I probably would not order it again. The chicken hibachi however was delicious. I really enjoyed the vegetable medley (carrots, broccoli, squash, mushrooms). It tasted even better as leftovers. The hibachi also came with a sad little eggroll that I'm pretty sure was uncooked in the middle. Pass on that.. Next time I'm there I will definitely try the chicken, beef, and shrimp combo. The sushi menu was very limited (about 6 rolls and no sashimi - I'd hardly call this a "sushi bar". The sushi rolls tasted about what you would expect from a grocery store. The rice was good but the chicken was dry. The price was average but should have been lower. If you want good hibachi or good sushi, go somewhere else. read more

This is no Hibachi! The flyers left on our door illustrated a full Hibachi experience. Tables with chefs etc. This is a fast food place who serves its food in to-go containers while dining in. When mentioning the false advertising, the workers say "your the first to mention". As we sat and waited for our food another couple came in and made the same comments. Told them "you are scamming people with your advertising". Totally true!!! Food is just ok. Nothing special. We will not be returning. I've had pretty much every sushi roll on the menu delivered to my apartment and never been disappointed in the food. That said, there have been multiple times when they forgot to include chopsticks. What sushi place does that? Additionally, a few times when I've ordered the crab Rangoon, they've forgotten to include the red sauce with the order (which everyone knows makes crab Rangoon). This is our favorite to-go spot! We have dined in but mostly order takeout. It's reasonably affordable for hibachi for two people, and tastes excellent. Their friend rice is some of my favorite of all time! When we dined in the first time, I was a little unprepared for how small it was. This would not fit a large party, but is nice for a small group. They are fast, and like a traditional hibachi restaurant you can watch them doing their thing in the kitchen, but it's much more about efficiency rather than presentation (they're trying to get you your food ASAP!). We normally order the steak hibachi, but have also tried shrimp and the steak and shrimp combo. All are amazing. They provide you with a lot of rice, vegetables, as well as generous portions of meat, which is cooked to perfection. We also get the tempura shrimp appetizer, which is quite good as well. When this restaurant first opened, it was great to be able to get good sushi and hibachi delivered. Unfortunately, the last two times we have ordered from them (Steak and Shrimp Hibachi Combos and Spicy Tuna and Spicy Salmon Rolls), the quality and taste has been so poor that we had to throw it away. The rice was hard and dry, the sushi flavor was just hot and slimy with a poor aftertaste. The steak was severely overdone and the whole dish just filled with huge amounts of mushrooms, maybe three small shrimp, two pieces of broccoli all soft and slick in a sauce that tasted like it was at least a day old. We should have called and complained so the restaurant could of had the opportunity to try again. Hopefully, they'll improve and we'll keep checking reviews to see if they get better read more
