Besides the employees, it was just me and him in the store. I walked over to a display featuring some knives I had been considering for a while--kind of a grail knife for me. Clearly, I was just stalling, and everyone knew it, but they were kind and polite. Meanwhile, my three-year-old daughter ran all over the store, touching the glass display cases and leaving smudges everywhere. One of the employees casually followed behind her, quietly cleaning the glass but never saying anything rude to me or my daughter. After standing around for what felt like an uncomfortably long time, I decided to bite the bullet and make a purchase. I still have that knife and use it regularly, just like any other pocket knife. We rappelled from two rock formations: the first I considered the practice run; the second the real deal at about 100 feet. Be ready for a full day - we met at 7:45AM and ended about 2:45PM.
