He jumped on. It gave me some helpful advice and found the size I wanted in black and that will work too, so I grabbed those. He took care of six people managed to get to me as he could see. They had a few color options, and they were $15.99 which I didn't think was too bad for a 33' one. They have so many things to look at here! Lots and lots of apparel and a great shoe section. Camping gear, sporting goods, beach gear, bikes, coolers, bags and much more! Prices can be a little steep, but they carry good brands. Had to wait a little in the check out line before they brought out another cashier out, bur when I was finally helped the cashier was very friendly and professional. This is a very clean and well maintained location. There is plenty of parking as it is in the same building as the mall. They have gear for most any sport. I went into Dick's Sporting Goods to pick up volleyball equipment and sneakers for my niece. We found what we needed, but the sneaker section was pretty chaotic and could definitely be better organized. When I asked an employee for help finding volleyball sneakers, they responded by pointing me toward the volleyball equipment section, which did not answer my question at all. Thankfully, A.J., who was working in the sneaker area, understood what I was asking and stepped in to help. He was patient, knowledgeable and made the rest of the experience much easier. If you're looking for sports gear, well this is the place for you. The old Sears location on the bottom floor of Northridge Fashion Center. There's plenty of parking out front. They do have a nice shoes sections with loads of sneakers. A decent selection with name brands. I did notice that they did carry loads of Adidas. There's also a good selection in apparel. Mainly active wear but you'll find the occasional traditional classic pieces if you look for them. But if it's active wear or sport wear, it's your place. Then you have all the sports gear. There's a section that's all golf. Loads of clubs but they're all locked up So you can't really try them out. You have basketball, baseball, soccer, tennis and so on. There's also a good selection on bikes lined up as well as hanging. To my surprise, they also carry water sports equipment. There's pretty much a good selection of sports things. read more

However, once I arrived to the curbside parking spots in Northridge, they were taken up (saw a family park and get off) so safe to say they decided to park in the spot not for them. Well my friend and I came to buy new catchers gear and a new ghost bat, and they had neither. We were honestly really shocked by the tiny little section softball had, and the rows and rows of baseball. No women's cleats at all, no women's catchers gear. About all they had were helmets for women and even those were all pretty much the same with different paint jobs. To be honest I find this unacceptable in 2026, especially right after the WCWS and before the AUSL gets started. We were probably going to spend close to $1,000 on new gear with you and we will now be purchasing online. Sold me a knee brace that was a gift. They opened it up and it was somebodies used, old, dirty knee brace they decided to take as a return and put back on the shelves. Wasn't even the same size and was a different style, well minus some pieces and parts the person decided to keep off of it. My wife bought a birthday gift just 3 days ago and I decided to exchange it today but we couldn't find the receipt, the store employee tried searching her system for it but she couldn't find it Then the manager Debbie came to "help " with her very "helpful" attitude saying I'm going to give you some store credit since you don't have a receipt, that's means we paid $105.00 and she's Giving us just $72.00!!! We end up calling customer service and they found our receipt and even asked us how come at the store nobody was trying to search for the receipt?! Cashier: Debi Date of Incident: 3/31/2025 Time: 10:30 AM With baseball season approaching for my kids, we bought some baseball gear two weeks ago, including cleats, pants, and a backpack, totaling around $256 (we have receipts). This morning, around 10:30 AM, my wife went to the store to exchange a pair of pants. For some reason, one pair wasn't listed on the receipt, which was clearly a mistake on the cashier's part for not ringing it up. When the cashier pointed this out, she spoke in a tone that seemed to suggest my wife had stolen the item. She raised her voice, making sure other customers could hear, which was extremely embarrassing, especially since my wife was with our 9-year-old son. Debi even offered to review the store's CCTV footage, which my wife agreed to. However, instead of following a simple "no receipt" exchange policy (which only requires a driver's license), the cashier chose to publicly embarrass my wife. My wife also spoke to the manager, Martin A., who failed to help resolve or de-escalate the situation. If my wife were white, I'm confident this wouldn't have happened, and she would have been able to exchange the pants without any issues. Eventually, my wife insisted on seeing the CCTV footage immediately, but both Debi and Martin refused, saying they had "more important" things to do. This Dick's is located in the Northridge shopping mall. Though for some reason, you are not able to access it inside of the mall. You have to go outside and around to be able to get inside. I don't know if they did this because it was the day after the Dodgers won the WS as a way to control the crowd or maybe because they opened up at midnight the night before to sell the Dodgers gear and just never opened it back up during normal business hours. I haven't been in a lot of Dick's, but if you are looking to purchase any sports related items, this is probably the place to go. It was big and clean inside. read more

To Debi and Felicia. I am a fire victim who was trying to return some gifts that don't fit my paperwork burned down. With everything I owned. And they reused to help me get store credit. A hoodie that was $150 only want to give me 35. And a belt that was $50 was giving me $30 which I was ok with but refused with an attitude. Not sure why and what reason. Telling me I needed an identification and that's the only way she can do it, which is untrue because I did trade back something else and they override it, but Felicia just didn't wanna do it. Terrible store. They have one person working in the shoe section. It took 20 minutes to get one pair to try on, and when they brought it over, there was one shoe in the box. The guy said that it's their rule for Nikes air max. However, the week before I tried on the same pair with two shoes. How are you supposed to try on shoes and walk around in them, if you can't try both on? As we left, the manager was there, standing around with other employees who could've been helping the guy at the shoe section. I let her know of the experience shopping at her store. She was dismissive and rude. She needs to tell all of her employees of these policies, so it's consistent every time. It might help if she started training her employees in the first place. Yelp says they open at 9, which they do, but ONLY for the outside entrance. If you want to enter from the inside of the mall, it's 11:00. So stupid. Even when I am just walking through here to get to the main mall, I rarely see any employees out on the floor. They're only ever behind registers (or doing a good job hiding from me because at this point, I'm always looking for them). Beyond that, this store is clean, very well stocked, and prices are decent. When we're looking for something for my son, who's exploring just about every sport imaginable to figure out what he wants to stick with, we know Dick's is going to have whatever gear we need. I also appreciate that the store is connected to the mall. It allows for you to combine shopping at multiple stores all in one trip. Best sporting goods store in the area! This Dicks is located in the Northridge Fashion Center in the space that used to house Sears. There are two entrances into the store, one from the parking lot and the other through the mall. I visited on a Saturday night. Parking was easy and plentiful. I parked right near the entrance to the store. The store was well organized, clean and well stocked. Sports equipment for every major sport and equipment for outdoor activity can be found here. The sportswear clothing selection was amazing. Customer service was wonderful. I was greeted by every employee I came into contact with. Zach assisted me in the shoe department. He was great. He was friendly, professional and helpful. Pricing was standard. Coupons and sales occur regularly. I will definitely return. read more

Thank you for opening up in Northridge. The SFV doesn't have any great sport retail stores here because so many have closed throughout the past 10yrs. Dicks is now where Sears used to be at. They have everything you can possible think off for sports and outdoor activities. I browsed around looking at my area of interests. Running, soccer and spent most of my time in the Golf section. Clothing was pricy IMO. Under Armour Nike clothes I suggest buying in Camarillo outlets instead. Everything you want and need for golf is here. Running shoes galore but costly. Staff was nice seeing if I needed any help. Depending what I need, I will Come here for anything sports related and I'm glad Dicks is finally open!!! read more

Unbelievable... 1. Ordered a pair of 35 pound bumpers and only one bumper came. 2. Called and rep told me I needed to send the one bumper back so they could send me a pair. Heh? They cant send another one? 3. So we repackaged the bumper, lugged it back to my car to be returned. 4. After saying a new pair was on its way...today I received, JUST ONE again. 5. If I had I returned this original one as i was told to, I would be again left with one bumper. I mean... ??
