It was 7am on a Friday morning and the school time carnival was going to begin at 9am. We got all of our supplies out and set up the machine that the school owned and had for us to use. We go to plug it in and nothing happened. Some of the dads worked feverishly to try and get it to work but the machine was broken. The cotton candy booth is the most popular booth for the kids and it was now 8am and we had no machine. Another mom and I got on our phones and called a number of places but either no answer at that time of the day or the rental places didn't have one for us to rent. I WASN'T GOING TO DISAPPOINT OVER 500 STUDENTS BECAUSE THE MACHINE DIDN'T WORK! So I called Candy's Party Rentals- got a person at the other end of the phone and explained that I was in dire need of a machine. He said they had one. And the price quoted was very fair. I told him that one of our dads would be down to pick it up and he then told me that they didn't open until 11am. OH NO! I asked him if there was anyway that he could make it happen for us and he made a quick phone call and the store was opened for us to get the machine, bring it to the school and have cotton candy for all the kids (only 30 mins later that the rest of the booths were opened). We had a great time making and serving cotton candy to the long lines of kids that day. Candy's Party Rental made it happen for us and we are very grateful to them for all they did to save the day for ever popular Cotton Candy Booth. They will be getting all my party rental business for now on.
