I came across their store front as I was driving by and I'm so grateful that I was able to conduct business with them for my celebration needs. From every point in the transaction I was met with kind and accommodating staff and above all, respect. The person I initially spoke to, Oscar, placed the order for me. He was super friendly and answered my many questions. While securing the order at the store, Miguel, Sr. wrote down my specifics, Miguel, Jr. helped with pictures through text, and his little brother Geovanny helped deliver and pickup the order. DLB appears to be a very unified locally-run family business and their values are apparent in everything they do. A nice feature they also offer is an array of party packages available which include different quantities of chairs, tables, canopies and jumpers. These package deals take the guesswork out of figuring out how many rental pieces are needed and are offered at a discounted rate, sweet! Miguel was prompt in his text responses and promised pick-up and drop-off times, which made my party planning so much easier and less stressful. The delivered rentals were also very clean and free of apparent marks and stains. Our experience with the owner of Randy's Events, Randy Ramos, was unprofessional and unpleasant…read more He stole $200 because we did not receive the backdrop we purchased from him. We Zelled his "sister" the $200 back in December 2025. After we zelled the money, there was no more communication because his Instagram was disabled. So we contacted him through his sister's phone number, since she is the one we had Zelled the money to. Which makes us wonder if Randy would have even contacted us about our order, if we would not have reached out to her. He confirmed we would be able to pick up the backdrop on Tuesday, January 20th after 6pm. We messaged him when we were on our way to his house to pick up the item. We messaged him 10 mins before arriving to the address provided and he responded letting us know he wasn't home. We asked if someone could help us with the item, he responded "No. That's not my house. I use someone's house to work out of". We asked what time he would arrive because we had driven from far. He didn't respond for an hour. We were waiting infront the home in our car. We weren't sure if our purchase was a scam or not, so we decided to knock on the door. Someone opened the door and let us know Randy wasn't there and had not let them know someone was going to pick up an item. The person was polite and apologetic since we told them we were coming from far, and took our information to pass to Randy. When Randy found out we had knocked on the door because the person at the house let him know, he sent a belligerent message, cursing and screaming. He closed out his message with "Good luck finding someone else!" At that point we knew he wasn't planning on giving us our purchased item. Thought I would give them another chance for my daughter's high school graduation party. The Monday before my party I did get a call from them confirming taco catering, tent, tables, chairs and table linens, and a delivery time frame between 10-12 on Saturday. Saturday morning comes along and now it's 12:30, I call PR&C and the associate asks me what day is my event on? I said today! and delivery was suppose to be between 10-12. She puts me on hold, and comes back asking if my tent has been delivered and set up, I said no! This leads to the next hour and a half of me calling trying to get an eta of when my rentals would be delivered! I called many times throughout the hour and a half trying to get an eta. The associate mostly did not answer my calls, leaving me to text constantly to find out where are my rental items. PR&C finally sent a text to back to me, and said my items would be at my home in 20 minutes which at that time was 1:55 pm, my party started at 2 pm. They arrived at 2:20, and had to set up the tent, that took another hour. The taco catering did show up on time (1:30, food served at 2). The tent, tables and chairs were done with set up around 3, that is when i could finally tell my guest they could eat. I was soo embarrassed, my guests kept asking me if they were early to the party cause the PR&C crew were setting up. I called the next day, Sunday and expressed my frustrations and issues of what happened Saturday. Kim answered, and she was very understanding and apologetic about Saturday, and told me she would call me back Monday evening. The week went by, and finally Friday I talk to Kim again, she told me she sent an email to Jessica, and Jessica should have emailed me, no email was sent during the week. I finally did receive an email from Jessica on Friday afternoon, after my many phone calls. She did not apologize about the mishap, but instead stated in the email, that my guests arrived late to my party (they did not, they were all in my house waiting for outdoor seating to eat). And since they arrived late that pretty much it is not PR&C fault for the late delivery. Jessica also emailed me attached photos of my home with my guests in her photos. Why are her employees taking pictures of my house without my consent. Still to this day no call from Jessica just emails of her trying to justify their wrong doings. Her husband did call me Friday, and stated since I accepted the rentals late, they will not refund me any amount (not even partial) but instead offer me a credit for future rentals. Why would I choose to rent from a business who has already showed me who they are. I understand the frustration of other reviewers, and what Jessica calls "harassment". She and her staff do not answer the phone to us disgruntled customers, they should just talk to us, that is what good customer service is from a small business.
