From every point in the transaction I was met with kind and accommodating staff and above all, respect. The person I initially spoke to, Oscar, placed the order for me. He was super friendly and answered my many questions. While securing the order at the store, Miguel, Sr. wrote down my specifics, Miguel, Jr. helped with pictures through text, and his little brother Geovanny helped deliver and pickup the order. DLB appears to be a very unified locally-run family business and their values are apparent in everything they do. A nice feature they also offer is an array of party packages available which include different quantities of chairs, tables, canopies and jumpers. Stopped in to book tables and chairs 2.5 weeks in advance, was given business card and told to text number on it with request, received a text response regarding the date. Called them one week later, both on Saturday and Sunday asking how I make a deposit. No call back. By the time I emailed them to confirm, I was told they could not service my party anymore and that they "got busy", therefore I did not receive a call back. Unfortunate in that I try to support small businesses in and around Whittier, but will not try here again. read more
