I don't usually write reviews, but here I am. I've used PR&C twice. The first time they said I took one of their tables (all were there waiting in my yard). Thought I would give them another chance for my daughter's high school graduation party. The Monday before my party I did get a call from them confirming taco catering, tent, tables, chairs and table linens, and a delivery time frame between 10-12 on Saturday. Saturday morning comes along and now it's 12:30, I call PR&C and the associate asks me what day is my event on? I said today! and delivery was suppose to be between 10-12. She puts me on hold, and comes back asking if my tent has been delivered and set up, I said no! This leads to the next hour and a half of me calling trying to get an eta of when my rentals would be delivered! I called many times throughout the hour and a half trying to get an eta. The associate mostly did not answer my calls, leaving me to text constantly to find out where are my rental items. PR&C finally sent a text to back to me, and said my items would be at my home in 20 minutes which at that time was 1:55 pm, my party started at 2 pm. They arrived at 2:20, and had to set up the tent, that took another hour. The taco catering did show up on time (1:30, food served at 2). The tent, tables and chairs were done with set up around 3, that is when i could finally tell my guest they could eat. I was soo embarrassed, my guests kept asking me if they were early to the party cause the PR&C crew were setting up. I called the next day, Sunday and expressed my frustrations and issues of what happened Saturday. Kim answered, and she was very understanding and apologetic about Saturday, and told me she would call me back Monday evening. The week went by, and finally Friday I talk to Kim again, she told me she sent an email to Jessica, and Jessica should have emailed me, no email was sent during the week. I finally did receive an email from Jessica on Friday afternoon, after my many phone calls. She did not apologize about the mishap, but instead stated in the email, that my guests arrived late to my party (they did not, they were all in my house waiting for outdoor seating to eat). And since they arrived late that pretty much it is not PR&C fault for the late delivery. Jessica also emailed me attached photos of my home with my guests in her photos. Why are her employees taking pictures of my house without my consent. Still to this day no call from Jessica just emails of her trying to justify their wrong doings. Her husband did call me Friday, and stated since I accepted the rentals late, they will not refund me any amount (not even partial) but instead offer me a credit for future rentals. Why would I choose to rent from a business who has already showed me who they are. I understand the frustration of other reviewers, and what Jessica calls "harassment". She and her staff do not answer the phone to us disgruntled customers, they should just talk to us, that is what good customer service is from a small business. Definitely take your business elsewhere. ... Reading the comment back today. Exactly what I wrote about NO ACCOUNTABILITY!! And full on LIES about the actual events that took place. I was trying to celebrate my mom's surprise birthday party and had booked with them being really excited since they had a high rating. only for them to treat me like complete trash. I hired this company for my daughter's quinceañera after being shown a backdrop and setup that I believed I would be receiving. Based on those representations, I paid $950 for the design and setup. I want to clarify that I did request a color change to blue, silver, and white, so I was not expecting an exact copy of the inspiration photo. My expectation was that the overall design, style, and level of detail would be similar. I expected key elements from the setup I was shown, including the ladder, decorative accessories, floral details, fuller balloon arrangement, and the large statement bow. Unfortunately, the final setup looked significantly different from what I had been shown. While the colors matched what I requested, many of the design elements that made the original setup stand out were missing. The final result felt much simpler and did not reflect the overall look and detail I believed I was booking. After the event, I reached out to explain my concerns. I was not asking for a full refund--I requested a $400 partial refund because I understood that time, labor, and materials went into the setup. I felt that was a fair compromise considering the difference between what I expected based on our discussions and what was ultimately delivered. Instead of taking responsibility or attempting to reach a compromise, the company denied my request and told me I should have addressed my concerns before they left. From my perspective, that was not realistic. No one informed me that the setup was complete or that they were leaving. By the time I realized everything had been set up and had a chance to properly look at the details, the person who had been setting up had already left. Anyone who has planned a quinceañera knows that once guests are arriving and the event is about to begin, your focus is on making sure everything runs smoothly. That is not the moment to stop everything, track down a vendor, and try to resolve an issue. I really wish I would have seen the reviews here rather than going with the 4+ star rating they have on google. I had my service booked since March, and after so much back and forth, we decided to put a bad review on google based on our experience. They took our bad reviews as "harassment" and ultimately ended up cancelling and refunding me my money. Instead of accepting their wrongdoing, they took it out on the customer. So extremely disappointed!! Do not book with this company if you are looking for a smooth and easy experience. Also wanted to add that I had to double text sometimes to even get a response, which I get they're busy, but when we left a bad review they replied within 30 minutes. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!!!!! I would not recommend this company under any circumstances. Our delivery was confirmed for 2:30 PM for a large school event. At 2:30 PM, no one had arrived and no one had contacted us. I had to repeatedly call multiple phone numbers before finally reaching someone, only to learn that their delivery truck had broken down and another vehicle still needed to be sent. Every update throughout the afternoon was initiated by me--not by the company. The rentals did not arrive until approximately 4:28 PM for a 5:00 PM event. We specifically paid additional fees for setup and same-day pickup, yet your team did not perform those services as contracted. Only one employee and one older woman were sent to set up approximately 160 chairs and 30 tables. There was no way two people could complete that amount of work in time. As a result, teachers, school staff, volunteers, additional hired help, and our own team had to unload, move, set up, and later break down a substantial portion of the rentals ourselves. We have photos and videos documenting our staff performing the work that we paid this company to do. Because the tables weren't ready, we couldn't finish setting up food, desserts, games, activities, or decorations, and our event started approximately 30 minutes late. Pickup was no better. We paid for an 8:00 PM same-day pickup, but they arrived around 8:17 PM and again sent only one employee. Once again, our staff had to assist with breakdown and loading because one person simply could not handle the workload alone. We didn't leave until approximately 9:30 PM. I want to be clear that my frustration is not with the employee who was sent. He worked hard and did the best he could. My issue is entirely with management. They accepted a job they were not adequately prepared to staff, failed to proactively communicate when the delivery truck broke down, and then expected their employees and our event staff to compensate for those failures. After the event, I provided the company with a detailed timeline documenting everything that occurred and requested a refund. Their response focused almost entirely on one point: that the rentals were ultimately delivered and used. What they continue to avoid addressing is that the rentals were delivered nearly two hours late, the event started approximately 30 minutes late, they did not provide adequate staffing for setup or pickup despite charging additional fees for those services, and our own teachers, staff, volunteers, and hired help were forced to perform a substantial portion of the setup and breakdown ourselves. Those are the issues that matter. Simply delivering the rentals does not erase the operational failures that occurred throughout the event. Professionalism is measured by how a company responds when something goes wrong. Instead of taking responsibility for the delay, the inadequate staffing, and the additional burden placed on our staff, management has consistently maintained that because the rentals were eventually delivered, no refund is warranted. If you are looking for a company that communicates proactively, adequately staffs its events, and takes accountability when things don't go as planned, this was not our experience. Based on everything that occurred, I cannot recommend Party Rentals & Co. and would not use them again. read more

I had my party booked and paid half my deposit. I messaged a couple of weeks after I booked (still more than 3 weeks from my event date) to change tables which is an up charge and I understand that. I was told a price that I agreed to but no one responded to me after to add the additional charge to my invoice. I messaged about 2 weeks later to confirm they will be adding this change and they came back with a whole different price for my entire package because their prices went up. I understand prices go up but I had already paid a deposit for a set price and was told my change was only going to be an add on fee before the price was increased - not a completely different package price for wanting round tables instead of rectangle. I called after going back and forth through text to clarify and was told I shouldn't make changes because that is what causes the prices to change to new prices since their prices went up. I was not changing my package as a whole, JUST TABLES. If that was the case, I should have been told this at the time I had inquired to make the change, not after they had given me a total for the change and showed no indication of not agreeing to it. I mentioned I had proof of texting and again mentioned my concerns with the way this was being handled when I didn't want to change my entire package, just the up charge for table sizes. Really inconvenient and honestly a horrible way to handle business with a customer who had already booked and paid a deposit weeks in advance of prices changes. Terrible customer service!! Tried to rent tables and chairs for a Thanksgiving family gathering amd was told we had to rent a minimum of 5 tables for delivery. We only needed 2. So we go to pick up 2 rectangular tables and 12 chairs that they informed us they had. When we get there, they said they did not have them. However, they had a round table that we said we would take, but only had fancy chairs for an extra charge. Being the table is round, it was unable to fit in our vehicle. When asked if they had rope/twine to tie the table to the roof of the vehicle they stated they did not. All that for nothing. The worst part is that we have rented chairs from them on quite a few occasions. Not again! So the response from the business to this review is inaccurate. The tables and chairs were already paid for. So why would they charge us if the tables weren't available. They actually charged us twice. Waiting on reimbursement!! read more

First time using this vendor and the LAST TIME. Extremely unprofessional, unresponsive, and unorganized. I ordered chairs the delivery time over the phone was discussed between 8-10am, chairs got delivered after 1pm. Party started at 12pm we had to use all our own chairs since food was ready and we all needed to be seated prior to 1pm. The lady on the phone was more concerned about her "store front" than a paying customer. A contract was signed and a certain color of chairs were requested, after being late and unresponsive all morning they came with the WRONG color chairs. Now looking at previous reviews I wasn't the only customer this happened to. Being a party planner myself and having a high volume of vendors I work with I never had such a bad experience.
