Well my search for a new pool company ended after the second call I made, back in 2016. I spoke with Terrence who was very knowledgeable, affordable, and solution-oriented. Since he's been our go-to for EVERYTHING pool related, we've had a clean pool, friendly service, immediate response to every question, and trust me , I have A LOT, in addition to consistent maintenance. Being worry-free is worth every dollar, and we've even had our pool deck redone from his referral. All around, we are happy, and would recommend him to anyone looking for a pool service!

They recommended we hire a pin point leak detection company, who drained our pool and found no leaks ($650 down the drain). Separately, they recommended acid washing our pool and we trusted them when they said it would bring out the white in the pebble tec. Instead, we got unsightly streaks throughout our entire pool. We hired a new pool company who promptly found the source of the leaks (a twisted O-ring that happened when the previous company changed out the filter). Replaced it for $25 and no dirt since. But the ugly discoloration remains, and I've tried working with them to help me repair this, to no avail. I'm highly frustrated every time I look at the pool.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I was delighted when ASP started doing…read moremy pool. Unfortunately after about four weeks the pool technician I had that was doing a great job was no longer doing my route. Someone new came out along with another person. It appeared the one person was a trainee. The CYA level in my pool had consistently been at 100 ppm. After two weeks of the new techs coming out, per their report they added 3lbs of shock. This caused my CYA level to jump to 300! Also, the following day after the shock was added it did not all disolve. There were two areas on pool floor that were approximately 24" in diameter with shock. This can stain the pebble tec per the owner of ASP. I took and brushed it to make the shock dissolve. It should be 50-80 ppm, but with our extreme temperatures 100 ppm is acceptable from what other pool owners have told me. With the CYA at 300 I asked Clint, the owner, what should be done? He said to keep an eye on it until July and if it was still high they could drain and refill pool. It is too hot in July to drain a Pebble Tec pool in fear of cracks so I wanted it drained immediately. I assumed that would be on them seeing they created the problem. He said no, it would cost me $475 for drain, refill and add chemicals! I was appalled to hear this. I rented a pump and drained it myself. I can see mistakes being made, but, to have a professional pool service not own up to their mistakes and putting the problem on the person using their service is unconscionable. I dropped their service immediately.

The quality of service has been consistently poor -- it feels like the pool techs rush through jobs and cut corners instead of doing things correctly. On top of that, the communication is terrible. Trying to reach anyone is nearly impossible; calling them turns into a constant game of phone tag, and responses are either delayed or nonexistent. Scheduling is another major issue. They show up at completely random times with zero notice -- no heads-up, no consistent service day, nothing. That alone makes it incredibly difficult to plan around, especially if you have pets or a busy schedule. To make matters worse, they've complained about animals on the property, yet they don't provide any notification before arriving. That lack of communication makes their complaints feel completely unreasonable. The biggest problem, though, is that they ended up damaging my pool and have refused to take accountability or work toward any kind of resolution. That's where this goes from frustrating to unacceptable. Overall, the lack of professionalism, poor communication, inconsistent scheduling, and refusal to resolve issues make this a company I would not recommend. If you care about your pool and want reliable service, I would look elsewhere.

We have had a dirt pile in the corner of our pool for over 3 weeks now that has not been cleaned (I have photos with time/date stamps). Our pool level has been way too high for 6 weeks causing the pool to leak through the top and causing damage to our travertine and surrounding trees and plants. Checking the pool level and auto leveler is NOT a part of their service we have come to find out. Which in the opinions of 3 other companies, is routine maintenance. This is a shame as we loved working with Kenny when we first moved here a few years back. Once Kenny left, our services from this company have been on a down hill spiral. The pool equipment has had a leak for quite some time now which could have been easily identified by any pool technician that performs routine maintenance. This company is not recommended.

On July 9 of 2026 Salten pools entered my home without confirming my dog was secured. When they saw that she was outside, they shut the pool gate, preventing her from accessing her water or her shade, and failed to re-open it upon their leaving. The temperature that day was 112, She was found over three hours later barely alive. After spending more than $1200 in emergency veterinarian bills, we were forced to end her suffering as she was bleeding out internally. Very horrific end to my elderly dogs life. Salten pools has taken zero accountability. Their technicians mistake cost my family dog her life. My family is distraught, we are left to deal with her death and her medical bills without so much as an apology. I guess I Was hoping a small business like this still had some sense of humanity, but sadly that is not the case. Be diligent of your pets if you use this company and ensure camera surveillance is available at all times so you don't have the burden of proving their negligence. Rest in peace, Rosie
