Beautiful and scenic park perfect for picnics! Perfect for all ages and pets. I celebrated my friend's birthday at this park and I had a good experience here! Parking was easy since there is a parking lot. However, it can get filled quickly and luckily I was able to snag a spot. Not sure what the other parking options are when the lot runs out. The park itself is super nice! It's hilly and vibrantly green. My favorite part is you have a great view of the city up top from the hill. The grass is also comfy to sit on. They have a playground, several picnic tables, and a bathroom too. There were several other groups celebrating occasions there, but it was not too crowded. A perfect option for nice weather. I would definitely recommend this park as a great picnic option and would visit again. read more

My toddler played so comfortably on the toddler side of the park. The bigger kids side had a really cool high tower to climb and come down on the slide. Date: June 4, 2025 Was looking around for a new park to check out for a play date and stumbled on this one! The big coveted slide with the type of curvy stairway it had immediately caught my eye and I knew I had to check it out. And I'm so glad we did bc my boys LOVED it! The Navi was taking me to a different location but there is a parking lot. Tons of huge grass fields / baseball fields on the sides and the main playground is in the middle. As you walk towards the playground you'll see the picnic area to your left as well as the bathrooms. There is also swings under a shaded cover and a little playground right behind the swings with a rolly type of slide. My toddlers (4 & 2.5) had a blast! And we will def be coming back again soon! One of my favorite parks ever to take myself out, my family, and my dog! I come here every so often to get a break from the city. Pros: -This park is so clean. The ground, the floor, trash cans, picnic tables, play structures are all tidy. Please keep up the great work with maintenance! -Huge space!! Beautiful views and very peaceful. You can have a picnic here, run around freely, play basketball, baseball etc. The pictures don't do this place justice because when I arrived, I was shocked at how huge this park is! -Safe park so far. I don't feel weary or watching my surroundings like I do at North Hollywood and other parks. I've encountered some nice people. Cons: Dog owners sometimes have their dog off-leash and I do notice they seem to be well-behaved and not violent but I've had two dogs CHARGE across the ballfield towards my dog and had to quickly save my dog as I didn't know what they might do but wish they could keep their dogs on leash or go to the off leash dog park at Whitnal... Dog owners don't seem to like being told to keep their dog on the leash without being offended. read more

It's a beautiful location and is so big. They have picnic tables and a lot of shaded area. It's a very family oriented park. It feels safe. But the bathrooms are pretty nasty. Being your own wipes or TP. The sand in the playground area is so dirty full of sticks, trash and rocks and not so safe for younger kids. Very hard to walk on. Clean, spacious, safe and beautiful park. Well taken care of. The playground for kids is clean and well maintained. You can reserve a space with the city for events and parties. Brace Canyon Park is a little paradise just outside Burbank downtown. It's on the hills so the temperature up there is always a little better than in the flat and it's the perfect spot for a Sunday walk, a picnic in the park or to play tennis! I love the courts here; Brace Canyon has 4 tennis courts that are usually free with few exceptions when there are classes, but it's usually written outside. I love to play here early on Saturday or Sunday. During the week they tend to get pretty busy and also throughout Saturdays but on Sunday it's usually quiet. There is also a little bit of shade if you arrive before 9am. There is a small water fountain right outside the courts as well as a small toilet... not the nicest but well... there are more bathrooms in the park which are way nicer and cleaner. Great local park for the family. There is a little hill for kids to practice riding scooters on. The playground area is very nice, there is a sandy surface, and lots of green grass to run around on. They have bathroom facilities, and picnic tables. We like to come here with the kids and bring a picnic blanket to eat snacks and enjoy the afternoon/dusk sun. Today's technological world has almost made the outdoors and neighborhood parks seem destitute. Gone are the days when kids flock the streets with their bikes and crowd the playgrounds. However, for those who seek these days of the bygone era of our youth; there are still some great parks available. One of these is Brace Canyon Park located in the hills of Burbank by the Verdugo Mountains (heading towards Sun Valley). Brace Canyon Park is located in a neighborhood nestled among streets which look straight out of "Edward Scissorhands". In fact, as Tim Burton grew up in Burbank and modeled the fictional movie backdrop after his hometown; perhaps he traversed this very area. The park is easy to access with a suitable parking lot (and street parking) and a large sign announcing its location. Brace Canyon Park is rich with soft hilly mounds and large trees providing ample shade over the grassy knolls and walking paths. Although the park isn't super large; this topographical accent makes it appear bigger. What else does Brace Canyon Park offer? The kiddos can let out their energy on a well-kept playground while parents can grill up some hot dogs on the park provided grills (there are containers for discarded charcoal, as well). Of course there are picnic tables plus a basketball court, baseballs fields, and a restroom station (I didn't go inside so not sure if it is gross or not). The entire park is well-maintained, clean, no dog poop everywhere, not smelly, etc. Brace Canyon Park exudes peace and tranquility; yet entertains. Also great is that the people visiting the park also seem relatively respectful. There aren't shady characters or an overabundance of obnoxious screaming. The men playing basketball weren't rowdy and there aren't teens making out on the grass. Brace Canyon Park definitely has Burbank sensibilities. Brace Canyon Park is a lovely location for a picnic, walk, or a visit with the kiddos to get out of the house and away from the iPads. The park is definitely a great neighborhood gem and worth visiting. read more

Great park. Great playground for kids with lots of climbing structures and slides. There's a separate area for smaller children off to the side with more shade. Not too much canopy but lots of natural shading from the trees on a nice day. I really like the musical instruments like the chimes and Congo drums. Did not like that there was no bucket swing for the toddlers. Such a gorgeous park nestled high in the burbank hills. As a mom of two kids under 5, having a short list of places to go that's easy to get to, safe and more than 5 minutes of fun is essential. The playground has a toddler area and bigger kids area. I think the wind chimes, bongos and xylophones are for everyone else! This park has a playground for kids 5-12, and another for tots 2-5. There are 5 slides between the two, and two swings. There are about 3 picnic tables adjacent to the playground, so you can stop for a snack during a break. Restrooms are kept clean, and are centrally-located. This park is a hidden gem for sure. From the pictures I had seen of this park it didn't look all that impressive but it is beautiful! With green rolling hills surrounded with massive trees is just the start. It has a huge playground for all ages of children, a ton of musical instruments I've never seen at any other Parks and I don't mean those cheap plastic ones attached to the equipment. These are actually instruments! They also have a ton of climbing equipment and the parks if completely shaded. There is also a basketball court, baseball field, running and jogging trails, and park benches for grilling. The parking is also easy and has a lot and Street parking. But honestly what blew me away was the bathrooms. Those are some clean functional bathrooms. If I was homeless I would totally live in this park! (FYI there are no homeless people there) All in all I give this park 5 stars and a big thumbs up! read more

My doggie's favorite park! She loves that there is tons of grass as well as concrete paths (she's kind of a diva). This park is pretty awesome. The size is great, tons of picnic tables, and even a drinking fountain for your dog. There's also a great play area for kids that even has a musical instrument (sort of like a xylophone). This is my 3 year old daughters second favorite park. She refers to it as the "purple park". She loves the slides and climbing up the rocks as well as the musical instruments that they have next to the little kids playground. They have plenty of grass area to run around in and "explore" and a very nicely kept baseball field below. This is in a nice neighborhood and I love the vibe here. My only complaint here is that the benches in the playground area are not really in areas that are ideal for parents to watch their kids. I know, I know, kids keep you on your toes, but sometimes a mama just wants to sit and relax and be able to keep an eye on their kid at all times. read more

Poop, poop, poop, and more poop! The tennis court area is covered in poop. Keep an eye out for giant flying birds dropping missiles and atomic bombs left and right. One landed all over my girlfriends brand new shirt last time we were playing tennis. White splatter everywhere! Other than that the park is great! read more
