Fast forward to this morning.. I got on Yelp and found Dirty Duds Wash house . It was almost a 20 minute drive but the reviews looked promising.. Upon arriving a lady's dog locked her out of her truck and she was on the roof trying to get in . I suggested she take off her shoe and use her feet through the sunroof .. ( yes this really happened ) Walking into the laundromat our clothes fell off the basket and a super sweet older African American woman helped us pick them up . See for yourself with the pictures.. the place is super clean . And they have plants which are very well taken care of . Even the bathroom was squeaky clean . The man that was there swept and assisted those in need and he was very friendly I would absolutely recommend using Dirty Duds Wash House .

The lady was very nice explained everything to me, and even washed some of my blankets by the pound instead of charging me extra since it was my first time. She told me it would take a couple of hours. Well, it took more like 4, but when I got there it was all neatly folded and I just went home and went back to bed. The next day however, when I hung everything up in my closet, I realized my closet smelled like dirty laundry. I started pulling the clothes down off the hangers and they all smelled bad. They smelled like JUST CAME OUT OF THE HAMPER! AND I PAID $82 AND CHANGE FOR THIS!!!! I have to wash every bit of this over again. I have Fibromyalgia and had a lady helping me but she has health issues too and can no longer work. I was looking for a place to help me out sometimes but I can guarantee you this place will never see another dime from me!

Seriously, these folks go above and beyond. When I dropped the shirts off, the lady behind the counter warned me that removing cat hair would be an extra fee. I assured her that whatever the fee, my sanity was worth the cost. When I got the bill, the extra fee was so negligible that I couldn't believe it. And the shirts really did look fantastic, especially considering the condition they were in when I brought them in. The employee I dealt with was friendly and efficient. They have a drive-thru window if you're in a rush. They're inexpensive and do a good job. And a few weeks later, I got a thank you/frequent customer discount card in the mail. If you need any dry cleaning done and you're in the NW OKC area, this is the place to go.

The staff does not spend the time to locate the stains and then they are set in permanently when pressed. They tried to dry clean the shirts instead of laundering them, but the stains were still a problem. And $5.55 per shirt is too cost prohibitive to clean all my husband's shirts every week! We have lost 15 shirts this year and did not even receive a credit for services! Spend your money elsewhere!

On top of that, the ones that are labeled as "working" either don't spin the water out of your laundry or the dryers barely dry. A couple of them actually function though. See, I had to wait for a washer that actually functioned. That put timing back a bit. Well, when I get my clothes out of the dryer they were not completely dry. He stood there making fun of me and pressuring me to hurry up, hurry up, you still aren't going fast enough. I was sorting through what was dry and what didn't get dry to try to put things back in the dryer. He told me to "get my stuff and get out ". It was still pretty wet so I ended up having to go to another laundry facility once I found one that was open. So I was late for everything because of him and was still in a laundry mat drying clothes when midnight struck and it was my birthday. Not how I wanted to start it out. No one working at ANY BUSINESS has ever been as rude to me as he was and he's either the owner or the manager. He told me he didn't own it, but I'm pretty sure he does. I've seen his whole family up there before. As a side note, it is FAR from totally clean. The washers were pretty smelly and it's all torn up in there. And not just temporary construction kind of messy. It's looked like this for quite a while now. He shouldn't even deal with the public with an attitude like that. Yes it's small, but the attendant is sweet as pie, the place isn't unbearably hot although I did sit in my car because I had calls to make. Only a couple of machines were out of commission and they do drop off service/delivery as well. If I need a laundromat again I'll definitely return. Even as I type this review the attendant is walking around cleaning and wiping down machines. All of the machines appear to be newer and in working condition. (There is nothing worse then broken machines leaving you to have to wait on others to be done using the operable machines!) There is plenty of seating for guest to sit and relax. There are even a couple arcade games to entertain your little ones if you have to bring your kids along. The attendant had a very sweet demeanor and provided excellent customer service when she saw that I was new and wasn't knowledgeable with the cards they use to activate the machines. One review mentioned that the cards cost $3 , but that can be refunded to you if you don't want to keep your card. Think of it as a deposit for the card. Which trust me... I'd much rather use a card then deal with quarters. This location is in a decent area, I don't feel unsafe by any means. What I liked most is this place is open later than the other laundry mats that I was checking out.
