Terrible customer service. Will never go back. Order your office supplies anywhere else. Rude staff.

Website clearly states that they close at 8:00pm. I arrived at 7:45pm last night to print one sheet of plain paper for my daughter's study guide. I saw that the print shop was closed and said to an employee that the website said they close at 8:00pm. She very rudely told me they shut down the copy center at 7:40pm and then said "have a nice evening!" Shooing me out the door. Nothing on the website about closing the print shop at 20 min till closing. It's the only place that prints after 7pm in my town. Not going back. read more

I go here often to do print services, today was the last experience for me. I have to drive over an hour to get to an Office Depot now bc the one in Lawton was shut down. The manager of the print services was not flexible, not friendly, unhelpful, and not a problem solver. She refused to have me Email in my order to be printed and offered if I made the drive to help me at the self service, I then asked her if she knew how far I lived and stated my town, she said no. I said, well if I drive all that way to get this printed and then you tel me you can't do it, that is terrible customer service. Covid or no covid, these stores need to hire better or train better for customer service. It is frustrating. Also, a multi task person should be in the department who can handle multiple things- she clearly cannot. I called another Office Depot they asked me to do the same as she did and when I explained my drive and time it takes to get to the store they offered for me to email in my product. This will more than likely be one of the last times I shop at Office Depot or use their print services and I have for many many years. Norman; never again. I placed an online order earlier in the day. When I received the confirmation email, 1 item was listed as "Not available". I called and was told by Thadd that there could have been a theft in the store and the quantities would not have reflected correctly in the computer system! Who tells a customers there "could have been a theft in the store"? Seriously? I replied with "So you're saying the "real-time" inventory could be off"? He said yes! Moving on...... My husband and I stopped into the store this evening to pick up the order placed online and to pick up a couple of items I had forgot. We get to the register and the CR at the register askes for a phone #. When she typed in the # my husband gave her, there was no additional associated with that #. I said, "just use my phone #" as I have a rewards account under my phone #. CR - who by the way is named Ericka.......askes me for my phone #. I start to give it to her and when she finds out it isn't a (405) area code, she gets testy!!! CR-Ericka - "It would have been easier to give me your name" Me - Wow are you serious? CR- Ericka, was rude and obviously forgot any of her customer service skills she learned in her training period!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By this time, I am not happy!!! You have NO business working in retail if you cannot be nice to your customers! Entering a phone # is far easier than entering in a New #, New Name, New Email! I will NEVER USE THIS OFFICE DEPOT AGAIN!!!!! Oh and there was far more to my CR experience even before I stepped into the store. I won't go back. I had to get two different computers worked on and Curtisk helped me out immensely. The first guy didn't install the power supply on the first computer properly so when I took it back Curtisk stepped in and fixed it on the spot because he had the experience to recognize the other guys error at first glance. That is what prompted me to bring in the second computer that had much trickier issues going on. Curtisk once again went above and beyond and fixed that computer as well. I was the only customer in the store at 10 a.m. to buy a new printer. I had to look for five minutes and walk all around to find an employee to help me. (Which is the norm for this store) When I finally found an employee, he was engrossed in his computer and I was obviously an inconvenience to him. I asked him a couple of questions and he continued to type and stare at the screen giving me a glance but made no move to assist me. I knew what I wanted and was ready to buy. I went to Best Buy and bought the model I wanted, got great service and saved $80. I was in retail my entire career and know if you don't take care of your customers, you won't have any customers to take care of! I will never go back to this store. read more
