The stains did not remove, I wished as a professional carpet and chair cleaner that he would observe the stains and let me know if they were not removable. And if he thought that they were not removable that he wouldn't further, the cleaning . The stains were food stains, so I didn't understand why it didn't come off. When I called and mentioned about the stains still being there, Kevin was very unprofessional about handling the situation. He asked me not to call him anymore, when all I tried to do was explain to him that he should have observed my chairs and not further the cleaning if he thought they were permanent stains. It was a very disappointing experience, I had to cancel my carpet cleaning for my rooms because his job was horrible and how he handled the situation was even worse. .

Updated Review: Do not trust Darryl Huie or DL Reston…read more While he may come across as friendly and helpful, my experience was the opposite. I found him to be manipulative and unprofessional and, in my opinion, took advantage of my difficult personal circumstances. In Dec 2017, just weeks after losing my mom and sister and months after moving into my beautiful new home, I discovered a water leak that caused significant damage to my kitchen and multiple rooms. I initiated a claim with my insurance company, and began gathering quotes from three separate contractors -- one of whom was Darryl Huie. His initial demeanor was overly eager and persistent. Despite not being awarded the project, he repeatedly inserted himself into the process, including contacting my insurance adjuster without my consent, showing up to my property unannounced, and calling, emailing, and texting me constantly. I was grieving, overwhelmed, and traveling frequently for work and trying to get my family affairs in order, so I allowed limited access to my home strictly for estimation purposes. Not for any actual work. Darryl claimed that even if I didn't move forward with certain repairs, I was still obligated to pay him the entire labor amount my insurance company had awarded, even for work he wasn't doing. He warned me that I could be reported for insurance fraud if I didn't hand over all the funds to a licensed contractor (i.e., him). In my opinion, he used my inexperience with the insurance process to pressure and intimidate me, which I now see as taking advantage of my vulnerable situation. When I declined to move forward, he entered my home without permission while I was traveling and removed the granite countertop, then claimed it broke due to a "preexisting condition" which would have to be filed under a second claim. He later attempted to manipulate the situation by suggesting he could help get it covered under the initial claim if I gave him the job. I considered this a serious ethical violation and reported it to my insurer. When I returned home, I found my road bike missing from the garage and the broken granite left behind. I then received a $1,200 invoice for "services" for removal of the granite countertop, which I never approved. He eventually sued me in small claims court, falsely asserting we had a verbal agreement. Fortunately, I documented everything, and the judge dismissed the case. Years later, he resurfaced and sent me a disturbing message through Facebook filled with personal attacks, prompting me to finally share this experience. At the time, I didn't have the energy to speak up. I do now. After writing an honest review on Yelp, a man claiming to be his "friend, who happens to be a lawyer," began calling me at work, emailing my personal and work emails. I consider this behavior to be harassing, and I want no further contact. If you are considering working with this contractor, I strongly urge you to proceed with caution. This review is based entirely on my personal experience and supported by court records, insurance documentation, and extensive written communication.

Big time negative experience, I will likely not use this company in the future…read more I purchased a groupon for carpet cleaning - $49 for 3 rooms, up to 200 sq/ft each, regularly a $120 value. Great deal right? Guess again. They nickel and dime you for everything. Walk in closet? Oh yeah, that's not considered a room, $15 extra. Stairs, also not considered a room - $3.50 per stair, + extra charge for 2 landings. Hallway, not a room, extra charge. Area rug needs cleaning? Also not a room, extra charge. Master is considered 2 rooms, $15 extra. Mold spray and treatment? $29 and $15 extra. Bathroom has carpet? Not a room, + $15, and on and on... The estimate, rang up to almost $200! I said, hey woah, woah, what about my groupon? They said, oh yeah, we'll subtract $50 off since you have a voucher. I said, but I paid $49 for the voucher, what happened to the $120 value??! He proceeds to tell me that it's up to 200 sq ft per room, but stairs aren't a room, and neither is a bathroom or a hallway, then continues on repeating his rigamarole, etc, etc. He ends with, yeah, this groupon pricing is confusing. Huh? My ass, I paid $49 for the voucher, if you subtract $50 off the bill then I only saved $1. Nothing confusing about that. At the very least, if you are trying to screw me with the nickel and diming, honor your groupon value and subtract $120. At this point, I figured out that I was getting ripped off. Now I have this stupid voucher, and they are in my home and I'm pretty much stuck hiring them or I lose my $49. So I decided to stop arguing, and just have them do the bare minimum and send them on their way. Even the bare minimum, I paid an extra $50 over what I paid for the voucher and, I only have half of my carpets cleaned, and the other half not cleaned. The only reason I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 is because the carpets they did clean are nice and fluffy. So it's all really too bad that they felt the need to offer a fraudulent groupon. If you are trying to drum up business by offering new customers a groupon, then honor it or don't offer one, because you just lost me and any referral I may have given you in the future. P.S. The workers that came out were very diligent with their work and even though I was pissed, they both managed to stay calm. They must be used to the BS, so I don't blame them. Not really their fault that the company they work for has questionable ethics.
