    Coffee cocktail

We'd just finished dinner at Forrest, A Food Studio, and wanted a nightcap before heading back to our Airbnb. I love a good dive bar, and it sounded great after a fancy, multi-course dinner (that's my version of balance I guess). We asked our local friends for the "best dive bar in downtown TC" and they immediately responded: Brady's. So off to Brady's we went! It wasn't super busy so we found a spot at the bar. I noticed right away that the music was at a normal level, where you can talk to someone without having to yell in their ear - amazing. As I've aged I can't handle so much loud music at bars and yes I know I sound old. We were greeted and ordered drinks - Nate got a coffee cocktail and I got a jamorita (margarita made with Jameson). The jamorita was pretty sweet but I like really sour stuff. The coffee cocktail was delicious. We didn't eat any food but they had blue gill which is my favorite - definitely want to try that next time. A good dive bar!

Funnel fries ! We killed these sooo good.

Best little hidden gem in Traverse city. Cold beers, best wings, fresh pork rinds and funnel fries. What else can you ask for ! We ate there x2 in one weekend. We came here after our dinner out on the Main Street. This is a local bar and grill so do not expect really fast service there was 1 waitress ( she was great) . So if you want fast and not the relaxed atmosphere this is not your place. If you want to feel like you're at CHEER's, this place is like eating at your best friend's house. Probably even cheaper than your friends. Do not over look this wonderful little bar, it's beats any Bar in Traverse city!

The rude server that we had to put up with all night.

Came to Brady's for a birthday outing. Left extremely unhappy due to the world's rudest server. Do you even know what customer service is? This woman in the striped sweater with the greasy hair called our group "those bitches" audibly while pointing. Who wants a person like this working for them? I recommend your establishment does something about this. Your bar has never had good service in the times I have been here. I don't recommend this place to people who expect kindness and good service. I felt extremely disrespected. Don't give these people your money.

Food is incredible and service is great! Pork rinds are so good and so are the sandwiches and drinks! Will be back!

It was Friday and I was in Traverse City. Needing a place to eat I thought of Brady's and Fish Fry. It was exactly what I needed, quick tasty and delicious.

The definition of a dive bar. It's good for what it is. Prices are low, mozzarella sticks are good and service is quick.

Good for a quick drink and a game of pool. Was decently busy not packed but a nice crowd of 10-15 people who minded their own.

Prices are on par with touristy craft beer destinations. We appreciated the quick accommodating service and the waitress going out of her way to find the FIFA England vs. Panama game. Food was good. I had a Caesar salad with sardines added for $2 and a cheddar white ale soup. Everything was good and fresh. I had a bite of hubby's walleye fried fish sandwich and the tartar sauce was out of this world good. I enjoyed the added ginger. Overall, a nice easy stop along the way. We appreciated they could accommodate 10 of us and indulge the birthday guest with a special German chocolate cake that was purchased at another location. Very awesome customer service. The slight cherry tang invthe bbq sauce created a very appetizing taste. The wings were cooked perfectly and I highly enjoyed them. I ordered the Pork Chop dinner ($29). This is a local michigan-raised pork with a cherry apple chutney. The pork chop was excellent and the cherry apple chutney was a great addition. It came with mashed potatoes and a cucumber corn medley. They both were very good. North Peak Brewing makes their own Root Beer. Honestly that why I chose to come here. Thankfully the Root Beer was excellent. The service was friendly, but not very efficient. I think they are short staffed because the bar tender was also my waiter and he was busy bartendering! Overall I still rate this a 5 star review. The Wings, Pork Chop, and Root Beer were all excellent and I would return for any of them. So yes I would Return.

I walked through the door and patrons were throwing popcorn at each other, dipping napkins in beer, and screaming hoarse obscenities at waitstaff. I understand it is a bar, but I didn't expect to find this in Traverse City. We sat down on the other side of the restaurant--"Doublewide" means there are two restaurants in one building, haha--and waited maybe ten minutes for someone to come take our drink order. My dad's drink order came out wrong and ended up being for the man seated behind us, but that wasn't much of a concern; it happens from time to time at different restaurants, so we didn't think much of it. It was only when we ordered and waited ~1.5 hours for our /appetizer/ that things began to look like a problem. Our waitress was very sweet--small, black hair, and too polite for a job like that. She kept saying that the kitchen was behind and they had a lot of orders, and I believed her; a dingy bar-style restaurant probably doesn't have Michelin cooks to begin with, and then you overwhelm them with a weeks worth of tourism? Anyway I don't remember her name but girlie I'm blowing you a kiss I hope you find a better job After my dad's third refill, though, we never saw her again. Other tables that had more people and had come in after us were getting their food, but we never saw our waitress to ask, and this clearly bothered the man seated behind us (the man who you'll recall had swapped drinks with us, party of one, and hadn't gotten his food either). He, my dad, and I asked another waitress how much longer the food would take and she said she would check, but she came back several times with ambiguous answers and never told us. I never expected to spend so long waiting for food. Again, at this point, all we have received is an iced tea and a water. I have medicine I take for my seizures and a neurological condition and did not take them into the restaurant with me because I did not expect to spend two hours twiddling my thumbs. I told the waitress if she didn't have a solid timetable I would have to leave because I had medicine I had to take, and pointed at my medical bracelet. She scoffed and turned away, and did not answer my question. Anyway, we left six dollars for the iced tea and left because girl what are we doing

Service was friendly and quick and our waitress made sure to check up on us regularly. Their menu consists of a variety of options from sushi to tacos and sandwiches to steak udon - I got the steak udon, so good. I highly recommend it. We started with some spicy tuna sushi. Very good and had a bit of a kick. The steak udon, the highlight of my meal, had stir fried veggies with the noodles and very flavorful sauce.
