I consider myself a very fair person, a person who always tries his best to look at the bright side of things. Unfortunately, my experience with Mr. Brady wasn't a good one. Mr. Brady comes off as a nice guy, a person who seems to have a lot on his plate, but has a lot of bad luck, especially when he speaks about how slow his business has been. I did my best to be courteous, respectful and also very fair with Mr. Brady. He damaged my vehicle, and would not take responsibility for the damage. I stated to Mr Brady that I could not use insurance for the damage he had caused, due to the car being a super car, and anything that would go on the insurance would instantly devaluate my vehicle by over 30K. He stated he didn't have that kind of money, that he was barely getting by, that there's no way he can pay cash. I told him look let me try to find some good estimates, and I will do my best to make sure its as low as possible. The first quote we got was way out of his price range and he almost got a heart attack. I told him that its a 200k vehicle, it will not be cheap but that I will try to find another place. I found a place that was more than half the price cheaper. I told him hey its going to be $2500, instead of the 5k initial quote, as the 5k quote was replacing parts, the $2500 quote was fixing the damaged parts. He said he would think about it and see if he had enough money to do that. I waited almost 5 months, and I finally told Mr. Brady that I needed him to give me some sort of payment, and he said he can not do $2500 that he would be willing to give me $1500. I told him thats fine, I'll pay the 1K out of my pocket, just to save myself the stress. My car was fixed, and I called him to receive payment. He said he did not have $1500 to give me, that business was very bad for him, that there's no way he can get me that money.. in his words "sorry but use my insurance, I don't care to pay you out of pocket" This was after I had told him that he truly is screwing me over right now, and that I was being more than fair to him. He called me a few weeks later and said he's willing to give me payments for the $1500.. I said okay, can you please bring me $500 and we can come up with a payment plan for the rest. Finally, Mr. Brady came to my place of business, but brings me a measly $300, that this was all he can come up with, that he doesn't have any more to give me currently. I was very frustrated at this point, so I said let me write up a contract that states that you will pay me the $1500 in a reasonable time. When I began writing the contract, he said he would not be signing anything I give him, and that he didn't know when he could give me another payment. At this point I was fuming, because I kept telling him to pay me in 2 months, or 3 months, as long as he paid me. But he refused to sign anything, and said "I don't know when I will make extra money again to give you". It was at this point that I realized that Mr. Brady never wanted to ever pay me, and he didn't care that he was screwing me over. I told him to get out of my shop and to not worry about paying me. I would much rather pay for all this out of pocket than to deal with this person ever again. All in all my car was damaged, I paid $2500 out of my pocket to get something fixed that Mr. Brady caused, and all I got out of it was a measly $300, and 5 months of a run around. IF you deal with Mr. Brady, beware that if something happens to your vehicle while under his possession, he will not pay, and he will not honor his word. IF your car is damaged, always remember that going through the insurance for something as small as a bumper fix, will go on your CARFAX and devaluate your car. Mr. Brady is the type of business man you do NOT want to deal with. This is the type of business place that you should proceed with caution.. STAY AWAY.. Good luck to you Mr. Brady, but what goes around, comes around.. Your Karma will happen. read more
