I was connected with Bragg's Appliance recently when our vented microwave range hood stopped working properly. I was able to make an appointment for the next day, and the technician called and gave me a 30 minute warning before he arrived. He was super friendly and addressed our issue right away, which actually ended up being a problem with the microwave buttons not working properly. The technician did his best to order us new buttons immediately, but of course our unit is too old and the buttons are no longer made.... In the end, gotta get a new microwave, which is luckily covered by my home warranty service. Bragg's didn't have to do too much work, but they did help me solve my problem in a timely and kind manner. read more

It is sad when Bragg's Appliance Service gives you a whole 2 hour window for service and still misses the mark with being on time. I took off two hours of work only for them to not show and not give me a heads up that they would be late. I had to call their office and let them know that they had missed their appointment because they were unaware. Upon realizing, the woman on the phone did not seem phased by the fact that this was a huge inconvenience for me and told me the technician would be there a whole 3 hours late. I kindly asked if there were any discounts when entirely missing an appointment and she acted surprised that I would have even asked. I really hope Bragg's learns how to be more efficient and provide at least mildly sufficient customer service in the future. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!! Our washing machine board apparently went out, we called one guard and they put a service order in with Braggs. A couple days go by and I have yet to hear anything from Braggs so I decide to call.... They apologize for not calling to set up consultation, the guy comes and is a total of ten minutes to tell me we need a new board.... He tells me he will have the office order the part that it will take 5 to 7 days for the part to come in. About 8 days go by and I call Braggs to check on the part, LAURA answers the phone, checks my information and tells me the part hasn't even been ordered, One Guard has to approve the order before they place the order but they haven't been responding to her requests. I get off the phone and call One Guard myself and they go ahead and approve the order. Once again, I call and she says great she will order the part, the part is a special order so it will take 5 to 7 days to get the part. Another 5 days go by and I call Braggs again.... Laura answers the phone and I ask if the part is in yet and she tells me that the One guard hasn't approved the parts order yet, oh that's correct, I explain to her that yes one guard has approved it because a week ago we had this same conversation and she begins to argue with me saying she is the only person to answer the phone at Braggs and she is positive that we did not have this conversation. My husband then calls to speak with her and he explains that there is a break down on our One Guard profile with the date and times of when things were approved, suddenly she remembers that we did have the conversation she had just forgot to order the parts. We are now a month into this and the parts have yet to be ordered..... Sooooooo we get a call from Laura about 7 days later stating that the ETA on the parts has been pushed to the 28th. So I call on at the end of the day on the 28th and she tells me the eta has been pushed to the 29th and that she is positive they will be there this time. Once again around 4:30 PM I call and Laura says she has not received the parts yet but sometimes they come late so if that happens she will call me as soon as they come in and then we will be the first call for the repair guy. We are now on the 30th and around 8 am she calls to tell me the ETA has been pushed again to the 4th of next month. Remind you, this whole time were using the laundry mat to wash our clothes, so I say fine, what's the number to the parts place and ill call and ask them myself, she gives me all the information ill need and I call. After telling a couple people my dilemma I finally speak to the supervisor who informs me the parts order wasn't even placed until October 27th!!!!!!! SERIOUSLY!!!! Almost 3 weeks later then when she was supposed to order the parts. Also, the part she ordered in on back order from LG and they wont be expecting any for 6 to 8 weeks from now. I will absolutely NEVER EVER use Braggs Appliance again and hopefully after reading this if you do use them please learn from my mistake and stay on top of this place, call everyday if you have to. We called One Guard and after all the trouble Braggs gave us and because the part is on back order for so long they cut us a check to replace our washing machine. read more

I would NOT recommend Braggs for any type of repairs. They operate on their time and schedule with NO consideration to a clients schedule. They are untimely and rude. We dealt with Laura and she was unpleasant so obviously their lack of service starts at the top. read more

During Oct 2019 - I had water leak issues in GE dishwasher. I had oneguard home warranty. After opening the work order, Oneguard home warranty send this contractor to my home to repair this issue. Water leak was due to the in-let water flow issue - the exterior of the GE dishwasher was all plastic and the small in-let which collects the water before it is discharged via the plumbing pipe. The person just tapped that in-let flow mini tub rather than replacing it or having a more long term fix. Unfortunately during that time - my wife was out for work and I had to run back to my job-so i was not standing there and watching(in general i don't prefer to do so as i want to give the technician some space). Just after 6 months - this tape got loose and we are having the leaks - the entire wooden tiles have gone bad. Avoid this company at every cost. This is a quick fix kind of company which doesn't believe in long term solution. Now GE is replacing the entire dishwasher as due to the last repair(done by Bragg's) - the plastic tub is cracked also. I have cancelled my oneguard home warranty after that for appliances. read more

Our 4-year-old out-of-warranty Whirlpool Refrigerator's freezer and ice maker stopped working. So, I called Whirlpool who told me they used Bragg's but that I was out-of-warranty and they could do nothing after offering me 50% off a new refrigerator. This seemed odd, so I called Bragg's and explained the problem to Laura who suggested I be a little more persistent with Whirlpool to get them to pay for a service call. I followed her advice, and Whirlpool offered to send them out for free. Before I had finished talking to Whirlpool, Laura called back to schedule a visit two days out informing me that the service technician would call with a 2 hour window that morning. I got a call by 8:00 AM as scheduled from Conner informing me that I was the first on my list and he would be there in about 30 minutes. He was on-time and quickly confirmed the source of my issue for which a replacement part had been made. He told me Whirlpool would cover the repair, but he had to order the part but would schedule the repair once the part arrived. He was extremely informative and helpful, even explaining the repair and process. The next week, I received a call to schedule two days out. Conner called, again, by 8:00AM to confirm the a two-hour window, 11:00 to 1:00. He arrived in the middle of the window, although he told me he hoped to have arrived sooner. He was very personable and professional as before. The job was complete within 2 hours. He cautioned about other potential problems before buying a ton of food, although he said he did not see any indicators of other issues. It has been a little over a week, the ice maker is making ice, freezer is freezing solid, and everything is back to normal. If it weren't for Bragg's, I would have bought a new refrigerator, and it would not have been a Whirlpool. They helped me navigate Whirlpool support and get me back up and running at no cost, and I think they might have convinced me to stick with Whirlpool in the future, just maybe not a dual-condenser model. ...and the wife and cats are happy. read more

The Bragg folks came to check on our double wall oven, we had been having temp problems with, therefore cooking/baking issues. John at Bragg's Appliance came out to repair the icemaker on my 3-year-old Kitchenaid under the extended warranty. Unbeknownst to me, the rails to pull out the French door freezer were also defective (I had been unhappy with the door opening for some time). John replaced both the icemaker and the rails, and now my freezer is easy to open and close and my icemaker is working again! I was also happy with the communication with Laura. She immediately called me when their company was assigned to the repair and set up an earlier appointment than the one scheduled by the warranty company. Thanks again! read more

Scheduled Braggs via Whirlpool's customer service two weeks in advance. Informed the service window was from 7a-5p on a Friday. Rearranged work and appointments to accommodate a ten-hour window. Because I did not answer two phone calls the day of service they canceled the appointment although I was home waiting. No emails, no text. Never told if you don't answer their call they will move on and cancel your appointment. Terrible service. read more

They charged me a service fee of $90 and a labor fee of $80 plus parts for a 15 minute job; they were two hours late; the guy was so confused he didn't know who's house he was at and twice asked me what street he was on; he told me to empty my ice tray twice because I "didn't know where his hands had been" (yuk). I feel compelled to write a review for this company. I have an extended warranty on my refrigerator and it stopped cooling. The insurance company assigned the work order to Bragg's. I was disheartened after I read the reviews from 10/30/19. However, they called the same day they were assigned the work order. They showed up the next day, Friday. The repairman was only here about 5 minutes and showed us that the appliance had a defrost issue. He stated he would have the part ordered and be back next week given it was Friday. He also told us that the refrigerator would have to be completely defrosted which takes 24 hours or more and suggested that we do that over the weekend. We did. It took about 30 hours. We received a call on Tuesday that the claim was approved by the insurance company and the part had arrived (2 business days from the diagnosis). The technician showed up today to replace the part. Total repair time from the time Braggs was assigned the work order was 4 business days. I could not be happier! read more

Do NOT use this service. Not only did they send one of the most incompetent repair men, but he was hostile and incredibly rude. We had to pay 97 dollars just for a technician to come and tell us what we already knew. He was here for less than 5 minutes and never even had us check the power to diagnose the problem. There is not any complaint resolution even in dealing with the owner, she was just as rude and hostile. If I could give less than one star, I would certainly give zero. My 2 year old Kitchenaid dishwasher began leaking water, so I called the Whirlpool service line. I had used Guinco Appliance Repair a week earlier for my refrigerator, but their schedule was full, so an appointment was scheduled with Braggs the following day. The technician appeared at my door wearing shorts and a shirt that had no identification on it.He was very nice and courteous. However, he replaced the door gasket on the dishwasher without checking anything else. He was there for a total of about 10 minutes and left. The next day, we ran the machine and the water leak was worse than before. In disgust, I called Braggs and got a recording to leave a message, which I did, and received no response. I called Whirlpool and told them my dilemma, and I was very persistent in requesting Guinco to fix the dishwasher. They finally relented, and set up an appointment with Guinco. It took a few days for them to come, but they checked the entire unit out and found a pump to be the problem. I now see why Braggs is readily available, while Guinco is very busy. read more
