I am so happy to have found a very qualified, appliance repair man, and especially that he is local. Our refrigerator started leaving puddles on the floor overnight. When I called Jason, he seemed to know exactly what was wrong, came prepared with the right equipment, and worked very fast. My experience with Jason Reed and his business has been extremely disappointing and completely unacceptable.We scheduled a refrigerator repair, and although Jason initially came out, the refrigerator only worked for four days after the service. He gave a 90 warranty.Since then, it has been 60 days with no response from him. Here are the major issues:Unreliable communication -- Jason does not return calls from any of our cell phones or work numbers. Missed appointments -- He repeatedly failed to uphold scheduled appointments. Inconsistent excuses -- His employees told us he was in Houston. Jason told us his kids were sick. Then he said he had an event with his wife. After that, he stopped responding entirely. No follow‑through -- No replies to calls, no replies to texts, no updates, no resolution. At this point, the lack of professionalism and accountability is beyond frustrating. We need a refund! We will be reporting this to Ellis County, as no customer should be left without service, communication, or honesty for two months.I will not recommend Reed's Appliance Repairs based on this experience. Excellent customer service. Jason was extremely professional, crawling into a very small space in our kitchen behind the refrigerator/freezer which is oversized for the space provided.in very short order the compressor was replaced, recharged and waiting for it to cool down so can stock it back up. April 2025: Still would give a million stars if we could!! We got to call Jason again--and yes, I say that like it's a blessing, because he truly is one of a kind! Our washer suddenly stopped working, so I gave Jason a call. He said he was finishing up a job nearby and could swing by before his next appointment. I told him I wouldn't be home for about 15 minutes, and to my surprise, he said, "No problem--I'll wait!" Wait, what?! Who does that?! Seriously--what appliance repair tech offers to wait around just to help out? Of course, he can't always do that, but it speaks volumes about his character!! Sure enough, when I pulled into the driveway, Jason was there waiting. He walked in, diagnosed the issue in less than a minute (again!), and explained it clearly. When I asked how he knew so fast, he mentioned he worked for Whirlpool for 14 years--no wonder he's such a pro!! He came back with the part and had our washer fixed in under 10 minutes. His skill, speed, and professionalism are incredible--but what really stands out is his kindness, thoughtfulness, and generosity!! Jason at Reed's Appliance is a rare gem!! We won't call anyone else--ever! March 2025: Reed's is absolutely the BEST! Jason is honest, trustworthy, knowledgeable, and always looking to save you money. He diagnoses problems quickly and accurately, explains everything clearly, and never does any work without approval. His prices are fair, his work is excellent, and he communicates every step of the way. We won't use anyone else for appliance repairs! Backstory: A year ago, our fridge stopped working. Jason figured out the issue (a faulty defrost heater) in under a minute, took the time to defrost it, and replaced the part--quick, easy, and professional. Fast forward to this year, the fridge had problems again. We couldn't reach Jason initially (turns out he was having problems with his phone system) so we had to call another company. Big mistake--they misdiagnosed it as a control board issue ($200+ part) without even checking the defrost heater. We wanted a second opinion and were thrilled to find out our friend's go-to guy was Jason too! We got ahold of him, he came out right away, immediately identified the real issue (a cracked defrost heater this time) and fixed it on the spot - saving us time and money!! May have been my fault but checking around more took a day off dryer had been making a noise so called a few places and most of them said the diagnosis/ service fee would go toward repair if I used them When Reeds told me that their $79,99 would not do that I made an assumption that then maybe there labor ect would somehow be cheaper that was nit the case turned out all I needed was a roller on my dryer less than $50,00 part here less than 1 hour costed me 275.00 thats with a 5 percent senior discount next time i will be sure to what labor rates sre because Reeds was $129.00 so over $200.00 for an hours work vetinarians and some attorneys dont make that much an hour justvdo morecresesrch than i did andvask anout labor costs read more

Started this review not happy, Recieved a phone call today from Jason's wife, I'm 71 and sometimes forget names. She was pleasant and apologize for the service tech and work that was done, and rectified the situation, We are heading towards finishing our repair on the dryer and starting to work on the washer. Zachary came out to help with my senior adult mothers leaking ice maker. I had changed the ice maker but still leaked. In just a few minutes he had diagnosed the problem as the solenoid . He ordered the part and I paid half. Later he returned, replaced the solenoid, cleaned up and gave instructions on what to confirm as the maker worked. All worked perfect. I have to say the mark up on the part was about 175% above Amazon but they had the part and the installation was quick and painless. Zachary was extremely kind and professional.
