Great customer service! It's been a while since I've experienced genuinely happy individuals who seem to truly enjoy their job and their colleagues. If you're not online, this place would go unnoticed but shoutout to the birthday boy, my friend, as he has been here before and talked about it a lot. The wait is over and I must say I've been missing out. Hidden from street view, this spot has a great outdoor patio space. Skeptical we had a table there because we were eating during peak triple digit heat, but the space had everything to ensure guests were comfortable. Ceiling fans that actually work and water misters that didn't leave a wet mess. Incomes the drinks and food. Happy hour always makes me happy. Snagged a lager and brisket tacos. One could say it looks basic and nothing special but boy is it flavorful. Decently sized chunks of brisket. Nothing melt in your mouth but had that softness that made it easy to chew. The pairing of the sauce was nice to balance out the saltiness of the meat. Grab them tissues cause it's a juicy one. A bit pricey, $12 for 2 tacos but def a nice splurge. Down to business. Burger choice for my first visit, definitely not the last, was The Peach Pit - that double patty, rosemary aioli, bacon crumbles, Swiss cheese, spinach, and our house made peach chutney, served on a toasted brioche bun. Solid choice. The beef was juicy, cooked to my liking (surprised they didn't ask how we liked ours cooked). The cross section of the burger is elite. Layers of ingredients adding to the flavors of each bite. I'm a sucker for Tabasco sauce so I couldn't really taste the peach chutney, but I do remember what I believe was a peach slice fall out of the burger. 10/10 would recommend. Just be prepared to use the napkins. It's a sauce/juicy one. Fries were standard. Crisp, fresh. My friends ordered other burgers that looked good. I was able to try some of the garlic fries and pesto sauce. Rich and tasty. Trust. I will be back for their burgers sooner than later. Who is with me? Let's gooooo! I heard a lot of people I know rant and rave about this place. Upon arriving at the restaurant, we were immediately greeted & were given the option of outside vs indoor. We ordered 2 lunch specials. When our food arrived, it was very fresh and tasty, that the flavors exploded with zest. Outdoor was very relaxing, there was no televisions, the vibes made it possible to have an intimate conversations with your party. I will start by saying this is not about the food as I didn't try the food. This is a review about accessibility. There are steps first to the area or you can go around a longer way to get to where this is a ramp. There is not clear signage of where this is. It was a very hot day, I went a few days ago. Important factor - I use a walker on good days, wheelchair on worse. Today I was using a walker. They asked indoors or outdoors and because of the heat I asked for indoors. The server / hostess guestured and said "Sit anywhere". But almost all the tables were quite high and require mobility. They were those raised chairs and tables you almost have to climb up to sit. And at the end of the counter there was a lowered portion with two seats that were accessible. However, they were using this counter space for storage with bunches/little buckets of utensils, ketchups, a dirty dish rag, napkins, other various items. To the credit of the man working at the counter part, he did offer to clear it up for me. I did refuse because if you only have two accessible seats inside, using that space as storage sends a message that my business isn't wanted. Same with stores that use the only accessible changing room as storage for all the put backs. It's the principle of the thing. My husband and I ended up leaving and eating somewhere else. I have just moved to the area a couple of months ago and had a good time at one of the coffee shops the week before nearby and like the little downtown Fair Oaks vibe for walking around, local businesses, etc. I hope in the future they can be ready for disabled folks like myself in a similar way that they are for all patrons. read more

We were looking for some place new and Brahma didn't disappoint! The patio was nice and spacious. Our server was patient, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. We started with brussel sprouts and the smoked tri tip queso. Both were good, but I really loved the queso. We also had the brisket dip and the bacon jalapeno burger. 5 out of 5 i really like this spot. We come on thursday nights for trivia. The service is great! I said we should change name to the lillian fan club. But it's beginning to be clear to me, lillian is kind to everyone. The atmosphere is fun whether its dreary and rainy in the winter or hot and sticky in the summer. Everything is good. It truly feels chef driven. I live the house sald with a couple slices of tri tip. Their fries are steller great for sharing. And they are very accomodating. I've been to Brahma a couple times. The patio dining is great ambiance. So far everything I've had was great! I had the blackened salmon with homemade creamy pesto sauce. The sauce is sooo good! They also have the loaded fries that has pesto, bacon, pico and goat cheese. Dang that was good. We went for trivia night and it was a blast. Highly recommend. Service was spot on. Birthday celebration with 3 siblings and spouses. I had never been there and was very impressed. We sat outside with heaters and flaps down to keep warm air inside and it was quite comfortable. I'll start off by saying it's a cute place. We were greeted and seated quickly. It was a beautiful day out so we sat outside and for some reason they had the outdoor heaters on all over so it was very warm. It's a cute outdoor patio. The beers were good. But I don't feel they were that cold- maybe from the heaters. My hubs also surprised me with a matcha martini, I enjoyed it which is shocking because I'm not the biggest matcha fan. So great job there! For food, we only ordered the trip tip queso that was just meh. It was barely warm when we received it and it was just a small cup of some kind of a chili, it was mostly beans. It didn't seem to be tri tip queso at all there was maybe the small amount of Tri tip in it, and where's the cheese? So confused. I wouldn't order that again The chips seemed homemade. They were good. We met friends there and they ordered drinks and food. The spinach artichoke dip was probably the best thing I tasted that came with crostini's (I also used my chips for that.) My friend ordered fries which were good and they were a big portion, and ground beef tacos with the fixings on the side. She said they were good and they seemed to be nicely filled. We went Friday afternoon with a group of friends at 5pm. First time for us. Parking is somewhat difficult as it is in all of old Fair Oaks. Needless to say, we did get in and on time. Nice patio with a lot of seating. We sat on the patio which was great for a late summer afternoon. Our server was outstanding. I think her name was Lilian. Apologies if this isn't correct. She was great. Super friendly, attentive and efficient. This is pretty much a burger joint. Good burgers. Ok prices. $20 ish for most of them. Salads, on the other hand were pretty steep. $23 for a taco salad and another $8 for chicken or $10 for seafood. Drinks were good. Seasonal cocktails offered. Brahma Old Fashioned really nice. Limited wine list. This is a pretty loud joint and we all were part of that loudness. If you want romantic and cute, go inside. LOL read more

The taco salad, Doc burger and The Farmhouse sandwich were all great! We celebrated a birthday and they brought a card signed by staff along with a free dessert. So sweet! I must admit I was disappointed with the food and overall service (nothing like our last visit) We went for lunch, the restaurant wasn't busy , my expectations are simple, appetizers should be served before the meal, not with the main course.my fish tacos were cold, the Caesar salads were yellow, and not fresh looking. Service here was amazing! Waitress was attentive, funny, and an overall sweet person. She quickly brought out our starter of garlic Parmesan fries with bacon, a pesto sauce and goat cheese. This was the absolute best garlic Parmesan fries I've ever tried. The pesto ranch on the side made them even better. Unfortunately I didn't get pictures of the shrimp or brisket tacos that were ordered because I immediately proceeded to knock over and shatter my glass of water. The entire place was clean, cool and shades, and very quiet--and then here I was making a mess of everything. Someone who wasn't even our waiter came over, cleared up the glass, and brought me another water. I was very appreciative of everyone's kindness. The tacos, of course, were amazing, and I have never had anything quite like the brisket one. It was delicious, and the sweet along with the salt of the meat was an interesting taste combo. A strange restaurant, but in a good way. This place is tucked away in the far back corner of a small crowded parking lot in old Fair Oaks and you wouldn't even know this place existed unless you knew it was already there. Once you do discover this place, you'll first enter what looks like a spacious and inviting covered outdoor dining area. While one would normally expect more in a "sit-down" restaurant, that area is essentially it. There is a small bar with a few tables inside, but dare I saw the main part of the restaurant is the outdoor patio area and there's nothing wrong with that, especially on a nice day. The food and service here are top notch; everyone is really friendly and helpful and the burgers are great. It may be small inside, but the tastes and environment fit perfectly with the eclectic and laid-back vibe of Old Fair Oaks. read more

Signature cocktails were on point - they had a wide variety that included various alcohols as well as fruit juices and mixers. The Pom (grapefruit, vodka, etc.) was my favorite! Everyone at our table had a different cocktail and all were very refreshing and made well. We started off with the tater tot appetizer, which was amazing and included brisket. I has the fish tacos for my entrée and my daughter had the French dip. I will say that I had a bite of hers and it was probably one of the best French tips that I have ever tasted! A Hidden Gem in Fair Oaks -- Absolutely Incredible! My mom, gf and I finally tried Brahma after living in Carmichael for over 15 months -- and wow, what a mistake it was to wait this long! This place is phenomenal. Mother and I both had the jalapeño burger (no bacon), and it was a revelation. The patties came out steaming hot, perfectly juicy, and full of flavor. The bun was thin yet moist and delicious, and the marmalade on the burger tied everything together beautifully -- sweet, savory, and unforgettable. The fries were equally impressive -- crisp on the outside, soft and flavorful inside. My girlfriend ordered the fish tacos, and they were stupendous -- light, fresh, and bursting with flavor. Our drinks were perfectly made, and the evening ended on the highest note with the crème brûlée cheesecake, which was truly out of this world. The service was fast and friendly, and every dish arrived hot and fresh. The staff made us feel genuinely welcome. All in all, Brahma has instantly become one of our favorite restaurants in the Sacramento region. We'll definitely be coming back every few weeks. If you haven't tried it yet -- go. I really enjoying coming to this place! I've been here a couple times, but finally now reviewing them. They have a pretty small indoor seating area, but their outdoor area is really cute and they can make it pretty warm with their heaters on colder days. This past time I went I got their Caesar salad and their Garlic Pesto Fries. I added chicken to their salad and it came out steaming hot! Really nice and juicy. Their garlic pesto fries were also delicious. They came with goat cheese on it which was a great pairing with the pesto and bacon. They have a pretty big cocktail, wine, and beer selection! Stopped in on a Thursday evening with a friend, without a reservation. It was lively but not packed. We sat in the bar. From the vibe to the service to the food, this place was great! This was my first time at Brahma's. I always like to ask the wait staff for recommendations on the food, particularly when I've not been there before. I knew I wanted a sandwich that wasn't a burger so was eyeing 3 of the options they have on their menu. She immediately recommended the Honey Do, which I had been leaning towards. I asked about the spice level she and answered my question with confidence. Her recommendation, and input about the spice level being more of a sweet spicy but not too strong, was spot on! The sandwich was great. I replaced the fries with tots, which I love having the option to do. I'm not generally a dessert person but for some reason I was in the mood so we ordered the beignet's. They were AMAZING! They showed up perfectly warm and fluffy. I love that they had a fruit drizzle instead of a chocolate drizzle (I don't have much of a sweet tooth), along with a little whipped creme. I enjoyed everything about this dish. Indoor has plenty of spots near the TV if you're trying to catch the game with a beer and some friends, and outdoor seating is spacious and comfortable - great for families and friends as well. Food is pretty tasty overall - the sandwiches and burgers are flavorful and juicy, and the fries seem like they're double fried and crispy with all of the right sauces to pair with. Our server was super friendly, upbeat, and kind - really made our meal enjoyable and everything running smoothly. They have a great happy hour menu - something to definitely check out if you're looking for a gathering after work with friends! Parking is pretty limited in the adjacent lot which they share w/ several other businesses. You may have to search for street parking, which can also be challenging.
