I went to Mimosa House for bunch. I got that around noon and they were quite busy. There was a wait but luckily my friend had a reservation. So highly recommended making a reservation if you're planning to go on a Sunday morning. I started off with ordering the Winter Honey Latte. I was surprised by how delicious this was. I ordered the Parkway Crepe for my meal and the Wicked Apple mimosa. The crepe was good and extremely filling. The Wicked Apple mimosa was good, but a little more caramel flavoring would have been nice. It did come in a larger glass than I was expecting so that was a pleasant surprise. The staff were attentive and extremely helpful. In all, a great brunch spot with many menu options!

This location is kind of tucked away. The waiter was great. He was helpful in deciding between option and very honest. We had a slightly larger party and he did forget things several times but overall he was very nice. I ordered the crab cake Benedict and it was really good. The crab cake was thick and really good. The hashbrowns were crispy. The portion size was very filling. I also ordered the MH coffee, it is a hot drink which I didn't know prior to ordering but it was good. The location is big and they have plenty of outside seating as well.

I love a good brunch spot, and Mimosa House is hands down one of my top favorites! The food is always fresh. The service is consistently solid. But the real MVP.... The mimosas. Their menu is stacked with so many fun flavor options, and I love their seasonal and holiday specials! This time around I went for one of their Millionaire Mimosas, the Merry Mimosa. It came with its own mini bottle of champagne attached. Super cute and totally Instagram worthy, though I will admit it was a little awkward to drink. Still very good and absolutely worth it. But I'll probably try a different one next time though. Also, it's made with vodka and I think I've officially aged out of my vodka era.. My guy ordered the Irish Whiskey Mimosa and seemed to enjoy it quite a bit. We both loved our meals. He got the Holly Benny and I went with the classic Club Sandwich. Always a safe bet and this one was perfection. The holiday themed menus and festive decor really helped set the vibe. Super cute and cheerful. I'll definitely be back, probably multiple times before the season is over. Next visit I've already got my eye on The Grinch :)

Mimosa House is the perfect place to catch up with friends or family over a delicious breakfast or brunch! The Gold River Mimosa House has a large outdoor patio so you can enjoy your breakfast al fresco! The staff is friendly and attentive. They're quick to seat you, check in often without being overbearing, and always happy to accommodate special requests. The food is delicious, I ordered the strawberry French toast breakfast plate which included plenty of fresh strawberries that were beautifully presented. The menu has a great variety, from classic breakfast favorites to more creative dishes, and the portions are generous. Their mimosas are a highlight--refreshing, perfectly mixed, and offered in fun flavors that make brunch extra special. Highly recommend Mimosa House if you're looking for a spot that delivers both good food, great service and outdoor Al fresco seating!

$4.25 coffee!!!!!! What a rip. But I still tipped 33% cause the service was great.

Location was wonderful with lots of fun outside seating. Service was fantastic too. Food was really good. Servings were decent. The thing I didn't like at all was the regular house coffee was like $4.50. WHAT??? It's water and chopped up beans. I would have given this place a 4 if I didn't feel nickeled and dimed on that. Nevertheless I still tipped my regular 33% because the service was wonderful.

My friends and I recently visited The Mimosa House in Gold River, and this has easily been the nicest location I've been to so far. There was barely a wait, and our party of four was seated immediately. The restaurant offers plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and the birthday girl in our group chose to sit indoors. We were quickly served and started off with drinks. My friends ordered the Second Summer High Tide mimosas (lemon, peach, and strawberry flavors made with peach mango bubbles) and they were a hit. The flavor was fresh, fruity, and super enjoyable. I opted for the Vanilla Ice Ice Daddy (a Father's Day specialty vanilla iced coffee), but honestly, it wasn't my favorite. I probably should've skipped it and joined my friends with a mimosa instead. For food, we ordered: - Blueberry Waffles (served with two eggs and your choice of bacon or sausage) - Breakfast Sandwich - New York Steak - Folsom Omelette The only minor drawbacks were that the New York Steak came out well-done instead of medium, and the hashbrowns/potatoes were on the bland side--but nothing a little salt couldn't fix. Everything else was great. I had the Folsom Omelette, and as always, it did not disappoint. After we finished eating, we ordered another round of mimosas, because you can't go to The Mimosa House without trying a few more! I got the Oasis, a pineapple, strawberry, peach, and passion fruit mimosa made with house brut bubbles. My friends tried the Sun Kissed (orange and lemon flavors served with a can of Red Bull) and the Fallen Mango (mango and pomegranate flavors made with peach mango bubbles). Out of those three, the Sun Kissed was my personal favorite, it gave me the caffeine boost I needed and still had great flavor. If you're looking for a stronger buzz, go with the Oasis, but for something sweet and easy-drinking, the Fallen Mango is your best bet. To top it all off, checking out was a breeze. We paid through a QR code, which meant no waiting around for them to take and give us back our card. Overall, a great experience from start to finish. This was a perfect spot for a celebratory brunch!

The Mimosa house was great! The longest part of the experience was the wait to be seated, other than that, the service & food were good. I will say the chicken on my omelette was a bit dry and they charge extra for a small serving of salsa which was the only thing that could save it. My omelette also could've used more seasoning. Other than that, the food was good. The mimosas were great! They specialize in champagne and used a house brut for the Mimosa flight. They have tons of flavors to choose from! It was pretty busy on the inside, only because the patio was closed due to weather. Also, Sunday is their busiest day.

The food was delicious, and the waffles were especially tasty. The coffee was also really good. The service was decent as well. Overall, a great place with quality food and drinks.

We decided to try the Mimosa House in Gold River since we've tried Rancho Cordova, Mimosa House. Our server was bubbly. Jasmine was very knowledgeable about the menu. My husband ordered the Veggie Skillet with Apple Sausage & Ham. I ordered the Crab Benedict. I've tried a variety of restaurants and they could not make the Crab Benedict until today. Oh my goodness it was amazingly delicious. Cooked to perfection and my husband's Veggie Skillet was great too. We will be back! Hats off to the Chef and cooks.

Overall, a good meal.., but WHERE IS THE TOAST???
    Alan C.

The food was very good, but there were definitely some hiccups. I walk into the restaurant around 8 AM, I like the place. It has a nice atmosphere, and it was clean. I waited and waited for somebody to come, I finally had to say "hello? Twice before somebody finally came. It looks like at the time, they only had one server. I'm seated at my table, she asked me what I wanted to drink, , and I told her decaf. She brings the coffee, and then walks away. That's when I realized. There was no cream, or no sugar of any kind at the table. Also, I was only given a fork and a knife, with no spoon to stir my coffee, when the cream and sweetener finally came. I just used my knife.... It turns out I didn't need it. (More on that later....). I had to wait several minutes for her to come back to my table. There was also a lady waiting to pick up her food, and you could tell that she was waiting also, because several times she looked inside the kitchen to see if there was anybody there. The menu is a large food and drink menu. Lots of mimosas on the menu, hence the name. I was interested in an item with the hot link. I asked her how hot the hot link was, and she basically said."I don't know, I've never had it." no offer to go find out, nothing. Instead, I ordered the Maine omelette, crab, shrimp, cheese, and hollandaise, and I asked for a cup of fruit instead of potatoes.. The food comes quick, and I noticed that there is no toast. I asked my server. "No toast?" And she replied, "no, that's extra. Would you like me to put in an order?" I declined. What kind of a breakfast restaurant upcharges for *TOAST*? I was worried that they would also be an upcharge for my fruit. Thankfully, there wasn't. The omelette itself was wonderful. There was a very decent amount of delicious, rich crab and shrimp, and there was also avocado on the top which added to the flavor. The hollandaise had a very good flavor. I'm glad I asked for it on the side, because the amount they brought me, if they would've put that on the omelette, it would've been too much for me. It would have been nice to have some toast to sop up the remaining hollandaise on the plate with, though... The coffee was good, but again, I had to specifically ask my server for a refill. For the quantity, and especially the quality of the food, the price was very reasonable, and they also offer a military/veterans discount. Based on the rest of my experience, heck, just on the toast alone, I don't know if I'd be back. Thanks anyway.

Ask the Community - The Mimosa House

    Good for kids?

Absolutely! We sat on their patio and our group has kids (one two year old and a ten year old). Nearly every table had a family with kids, bring the fam for sure.

    Do they have bottomless mimosas?

Yes they do if you choose! But it's fun to try all their other flavor combinations

    Do they take reservations?

Yes but be careful if you have a big party

Unfortunately, our dinner experience was disappointing because of repeated mistakes from the kitchen. Our waitress was wonderful and did everything she could to make things right, but there were so many issues with our order that it became difficult to fully enjoy the meal. We started with the blistered shishitos, which were solid. They use larger shishito peppers than what I've typically seen at other restaurants, and they were nicely prepared. Next was the seasonal stone fruit salad, which tasted great, but it arrived without the burrata. When we asked about it, our waitress checked with the kitchen and came back to let us know they had run out of burrata and provided a substitution of a different cheese. I appreciated her honesty and effort, but I wish the kitchen had been upfront about the situation instead of serving the dish without mentioning it, hoping that I wouldn't notice and charge me full price for the salad. The lobster rolls were another letdown. They arrived without the chive aioli, and the rolls themselves were not that great. The butter was served on the side, which also felt a bit odd. The standout dish of the night was the Revival Burger. We ordered it medium-rare, but it came out closer to medium-well. Even so, it was still flavorful and probably the best thing we ordered. We also agreed to pay an extra $5 for the truffle fries, but regular fries arrived instead. By that point, I felt bad asking our waitress to make yet another trip back to the kitchen, so I just asked her to remove the truffle fry upcharge from the bill. The Midsummer Melon cocktail was generously sized, refreshing, and enjoyable, although we honestly wondered whether it contained much alcohol since neither of us felt much from it. To the restaurant's credit, our waitress handled every issue professionally and graciously. She apologized throughout the meal and ultimately removed the cost of one appetizer from our bill to make up for the repeated mistakes, which I appreciated. While the service at the table was great, the number of kitchen errors--from missing ingredients and incorrect substitutions to forgotten sauces, an overcooked burger, and the wrong fries--made the overall experience frustrating. Because of the lack of consistency and attention to detail from the kitchen, I don't think I'd return, despite the lovely atmosphere and excellent service from our waitress.

Still had to wait 30 minutes even with a reservation. The restaurant is very large and split into sections. We were seated at a tall table with tall chairs in the bar area. Not very comfortable if you plan to stay a bit and talk or enjoy your meal. The atmosphere was noisy and the more alcohol served, the louder it became. Mimosa House is the name of the place afterall and they offer about 30 different flavors. The menu is HUGE. An actual book of pages and pages of breakfast & brunch items. I must have changed my mind 100 times while trying to decide whether to have breakfast or lunch. Our waiter was nice enough and must have thought we were all OK enough for him to drop a few F-bombs while tending to our table. I wasn't offended but a few at our table commented on it. Everyone at our table chose breakfast items, from strawberry French toast to chorizo skillets. I was the odd one and had the Mimosa House Club ($22): It had the third layer of bread which no one takes time with anymore but the "house spread," a cream cheese layer they add was just not right. Lettuce, tomato, Swiss cheese, avocado, bacon, sliced turkey, & shaved ham were good on the grilled sourdough but I wouldn't order again unless the cream cheese was removed. It was served with fries but I subbed a bowl of fresh fruit. Lots of vegetarian options and even the Kid's menu was decent. Some gluten-free options too. Parking can be hard. All street with nothing directly out front and handicapped spots nearby is sparse. No stairs or steps inside or outside but it is tight and cramped inside the restaurant. They have nice patio seating and I might have chosen that if I were the one making the reservation. Overall a nice place for breakfast & drinks.

The fish tastes so fresh and their ikura is not overly salty and smaller than other ikuras i've had. The best part though i think is the seasoned rice. The rice is so flavorful yet doesn't take away from the fish. You don't need to add additional soy sauce or wasabi either. The caviar tasting is pretty cool. Feels like a good deal since you get to taste 6 different caviars. Another highlight is the oysters. I was a bit hesitant about ordering the oysters at $6ea but definitely don't skip on it. They use ichiban ousters from skagit bay and it was so creamy and light tasting. The yuzu mignonette went perfectly with it as well. One thing they do really well are their vegetables. Everything was so flavorful. I can just keep going on about how wonderful everything here is. The service is fast, we were just finishing up the bellinis from the caviar tasting and a new set of bellinis arrived at my table without having to ask for it. The interior and exterior are all so pretty and make you feel so relaxed. Definitely stop by for some great food! They do have happy hour that i just missed but check it out on their website, it makes it slightly cheaper
