When you're able, please send your contact information and availability to lance.blount@cbauto.net. Respectfully, Christian Brothers Albuquerque-Ventura *****BUT YET I HAVE SENT MANY EMAILS TO THIS EMAIL ADDRESS PROVIDED AND STILL HAVE NOT HEARD BACK. DO BETTER! I STILL HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO TAKE MY CAR IN FOR DAMAGE REPAIR SINCE I HAVE NOT HEARD A WORD AND A. CANNOT AFFORD TO PAY FOR A DAMAGE CAUSED BY TAKING MY VEHICLE TO THIS BUSINESS FOR SERVICE AND B. EVERYTIME I TAKE MY CAR IN FOR OTHER SERVICES I SEE MORE DAMAGE OCCURRED FROM THIS Original review posted - I took my car in on October 23, 2025 for an unknown issue - they advised it was the engine mount. I did not question the diagnosis at the time nor the subsequent damage that came to my attention. However, due to the chaotic nature of my life, I did not notice the passenger side of my bumper had become dislodged until my mother pointed it out. As I work from home and keep my car garaged, I have limited opportunity to inspect it regularly, as I typically only run errands one day a week and am home otherwise. After discussing the issue with my son, who works at a body shop, he discovered that several clips on the bumper were broken, which is likely why it had popped out. Upon further inspection, he found that the bumper was completely detached at the bottom, with all clips broken. I took several weeks to address this with them, but I was met with immediate denial of responsibility. Despite having multiple staff members examine the vehicle, I observed one employee moving my car and jumping over a curb, which raises concerns about the handling of my vehicle during service. I was informed that a tumbleweed was removed from the bottom of the car and that there was a scratch on the other side of the bumper, leading to the conclusion that the damage could not have occurred while in their care. This explanation raises several questions for me. If someone had indeed hit my vehicle, I would expect visible damage on the front of the bumper, rather than just the bottom being detached. So what some random person removed my car from the garage and took it on a joy ride and and returned unknown. We are now at the estimate cost of $1,222. to get it fixed; unknowingly of what else could be damaged behind the bumper! ZERO STARS!

You ever wonder what it would be like to be an Indy driver and have a pit crew on your team,…read morerooting for you and working like the dickens to get back on the asphalt in a perfect machine tout suite? Here's your chance: this was my second visit for an oil change for my Subaru Outback and this store just rocks it. No kidding: I was out of there in six minutes - and everything was great. Price is . . . well, everything is absurdly expensive now that the government printed all that money and devalued what we had earned. But Valvoline has coupons online (look for them: my all-synthetic change was $15 off the $100 usual price, which almost paid for the $20 tip I gladly gave the friendly professionals who attended to the Outback) that help a bit. Only reason it's not a five-star review is that price (the coupon helped, but it's kinda weak) . . . and I'm not sure that's fair, because it's probably the going rate these days. Fantastic service and a great operation here on Tramway (turn in at the gas station, go past the drugstore and the Dominos and it's there at the north end of the lot).

And as always it's so painless and they take care of everything. I really feel like my daughter's car is safe for a while now. Yelp's coupon was gone but the girl working helped my daughter find a different one so it was still a great value. And a weird light has been on in her car for 4 years now. One of the gentleman there tried multiple things to get it to go off. It was really nice. Great experience. Great people!

I recently had to have a lot of major repair work to my vehicle. Dearholt has taken care of me and…read moremy vehicle since I drove it off the dealer's lot brand new 8 years ago. I've never taken it to the dealer when I needed any maintenance and repair. Dearholt did some research on my behalf and found out my defective high speed fuel pump was part of a national recall, and that the dealer was supposed to fix/repair it as such. The Dealer refused to fix the problem, but Dearholt fixed it and made it affordable for me. I wouldn't ever go anywhere else!

Predatory upsell at Signal Ave location: Refused single spark plug fix on my stranded 19-year-old…read moredaughter's car Review (1-star): This is a serious warning for parents, students, and anyone driving in/around Albuquerque--especially near UNM or the northeast heights area. My 19-year-old daughter was on her way from Farmington to the University of New Mexico when her check-engine light began flashing early one morning. She pulled over safely about 30 miles from campus--alone, scared, and hours from home. I called Brown's Automotive Experts and spoke with a man named Chris (at the 6401 Signal Ave NE / Far Northeast Heights location). Chris mentioned he has four daughters of his own and assured me he would "take care of her." That reassurance meant a lot in the moment. He called back with the diagnosis: one cracked spark plug causing the misfire. He then immediately recommended replacing all spark plugs plus a fuel-injection service--totaling $1,800. I asked for the price to replace just the spark plugs; he quoted $1,300. I explained we couldn't afford that and requested they replace only the one cracked plug so she could safely reach school and we could plan the rest later. Chris refused. The shop would not do a single spark-plug replacement. It was pay $1,300 for the full set or just the diagnostic fee--and they'd send her back on the road with the flashing light and misfire still active. They were ready to release a teenage driver with a known engine issue rather than perform the minimal, diagnosed repair. This felt like blatant upselling that took advantage of her vulnerability and my concern as a parent 150+ miles away. I've never posted a review this strongly, but I won't stay silent when a business exploits a young woman's roadside emergency to push unnecessary $1,300-$1,800 services. If you have college kids, teenage drivers, or travel through Albuquerque's northeast side, avoid Brown's Automotive Experts - Far Northeast Heights (6401 Signal Ave NE). Choose a shop that does honest, needed repairs without holding safety hostage. Brown's Automotive Experts - Far Northeast Heights 6401 Signal Ave NE, Albuquerque, NM 87113 Phone: (505) 857-0868 You've lost any future business from our family--and I hope others see this before they're in a similar spot.
