The Absolutely Despicable issue is that I was charged $23 each -- the bulbs were $3 apiece PLUS $20 Service Charge per bulb‼ The housing had already been removed and to dislodge the burnt out light and Install the replacement at Individual Charges of $20 each is downright Unscrupulous‼

They were essentially forcing the customer to pay for them to fix the problem that they caused and got upset when the customer declined. Yes this was a racially charged escalation and it's sad that people still do weird stuff like this instead of being half decent. I…read morebrought them 2 vehicles for service with different needs. 2018 Honda Fit the dealership said was due for front brakes, and a 2021 Toyota Supra I was bringing in for alignment after lowering. The price quoted for the Honda's brakes was not as far from the dealer quote as I would have liked but they said they needed to do a full brake inspection first (despite having the dealer inspection paperwork). Their inspection said the front brakes didn't really need replaced but the back drums needed a much more expensive replacement. I opted out of any work done on that car. They charged me $45.00 (I had a coupon for free brake inspection printed from their website that they did not honor despite phone confirmation) The Supra had the alignment completed, or at least I was billed for one being completed. They did not provide any of the normal telemetry data for before and after alignment. They noted on the bill that one wheel had slightly too much camber, but was not adjustable. If they had said something about that during the process I would have bought a kit to adjust it (instead I will have to have someone else do another alignment on that part of the car). They did not either notice or tell me about the bands in one of the tires being busted to the point where the tire was tearing itself apart. They also did not apply the coupon I left for this car. Summary: Didn't get the work I wanted done on the Honda. Didn't get the discount from their website I took the time to print and leave in the car. Diagnosed a more expensive issue than the dealership. May have gotten the work done on the Supra. Didn't get standard documentation, didn't get told about an issue with the alignment, didn't get told about the safety issue, didn't get the discount from their website I took the time to print and leave in the car.

Since Steve sold the business a year or more ago, I was a little apprehensive to say the least because the service had been exceptional. Steve assured me I would get the same service from Nate, the new owner. There's been a huge turnover in the last year due to retirements, health issues etc. However, I still take my vehicles there because the service hasn't changed. Just as promised. The main replacement personnel are just as good or better. Honestly, integrity found there. They warrant their work! The two negative 1 Star reviews should be ignored. There must have been some miscommunication going on there in both those cases.

I pulled into an O'Reily's (see 5star review for that!) and Jay there recommended me to Carson at Val's, who were open on Sunday. My car made it there Sunday morning. Carson took me in right away and helped diagnose my car for a very reasonable fee, as well as gave me price estimates for the repairs. Due to other work I had recently had done, we decided that the best thing for me was actually to tow back to Indy. Carson gave me some paper work and their assessment results so that I could have some more info for my home garage. This kind of service, especially for an out of state, stressed out, traveller and then they didn't even get the big job -- it's just stellar and SO appreciated. Monday morning shortly after 7:00 a.m. I called Wildt and asked if they would repair my tire. In a very courteous manner the gentleman who answered my call stated that if I brought in in then it would be repaired and ready for me to return between 10:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Upon arrival, the tire was taken -- my information given and that was it. At 10:45 I returned to the station. I was shown what was removed from the tire and presented with the cost of the service. The repaired tire was installed on my vehicle, the spare and all components carefully placed in required positions. The gentlemen treated me with dignity and respect along with what I considered to be a fair charge for such a valuable service. All of this also took place in over 90 degree heat. So based on this one service I will not hesitate to return when my vehicle needs future service.
