Unfortunately, I was informed that my tires were wearing unevenly and needed replacement, which I wish had been communicated before the oil change. The staff member who relayed the tire issue was professional and even arranged a ride for me home, which I appreciated. However, my experience soured when I tried to get updates. Despite texting Mike multiple times over four days, I received no response. When I finally called, he seemed defensive that I was questioning the reason he didn't inform me that my vehicle was ready for pickup and/or didn't give me a quote for the tires. While the oil change pricing seemed fair, I believe Mike could benefit from customer service training. I was able to find good deals on tires elsewhere and had a great experience with Brakes Plus for an alignment - wish I got my oil change there as well because they were running a 50% off special. Moving forward, I'll be choosing Brakes Plus for my service needs, especially since they offer complimentary Lyft rides. Overall, even though I appreciated the manager calling to let me know he knew they dropped the ball with me on getting the tire quote, I was disappointed with my experience at Woodhouse Quick Lane.

Extremely Frustrating - Refusing to Take Responsibility for Alignment…read more I took my 2010 Mazda 3 to Firestone for an alignment, and since then, my car has been pulling and yanking dangerously. When I spoke to the store manager about it, he immediately said it wasn't the alignment and claimed the problem was my "steering pump." My car doesn't even have a steering pump, so that explanation makes no sense. I called Firestone corporate to explain the situation, hoping they would at least have the store inspect my car to figure out what's going on, but the store still refuses to look at it without charging me. I paid $145 for an alignment that has caused issues, and now I'm being told I have to pay again just to have them check their own work. This has been incredibly frustrating. I expected professional service and accountability, but instead, I'm met with incorrect information and unwillingness to address a clear problem caused by their service. This is not just poor customer service -- it's unsafe. I expected Firestone to stand behind their work, but instead, I'm left with a dangerous car and no support.

That changed after I tried Christian Brothers Automotive during a grand opening when they were offering free oil changes. I liked the experience enough that I decided to give them a shot again for my next paid oil change, and that's when the difference really stood out. Jiffy Lube's main advantage is speed. You stay in your car and you are in and out quickly. But Christian Brothers wins in almost every other category. The waiting room is clean and comfortable (even have cell phone chargers), the people are genuinely friendly, and the pricing has actually been better in my experience. I also appreciate that my car is returned clean, without the greasy or rushed feeling I sometimes had before. Scheduling is easy too. Their website makes it simple to book an appointment, so even though it is not a drive through experience, it still feels efficient and well organized. If speed is the only thing you care about, Jiffy Lube works. But if you value service, cleanliness, and feeling confident about who is working on your car, Christian Brothers Automotive has earned my business going forward.

I noticed a loud noise coming from my right rear of my car and the shock that they installed on the right rear already had broken loose and was making a loud noise, called back and talk to them. They said to bring the car back in a few days later, and they would look at it and fix whatever the problem was well it turned out. It was a broken shock brand new after installation. It broke and then I also had a tire replaced on the right rear and that tire continuously goes flat and it's brand new so I really appreciate everything they did but it seemed like everything they touched just was not blessed. I still have not taken the vehicle back or called them about the right rear new tire they put on the continuously goes flat. all in all, I was treated very good by the staff and the staff out in the bays were also very nice people. They've worked late a couple times to finish an oil change, gotten hard to find parts in no time, and always clearly explain any issues they find. They called me to tell me it did not fix the issue and would need another $200 to dive deeper into it to figure out what it was. Complete incompetence by both the company and mechanic! I understand you are only as good as your workers are but for them to ask for another $200 because they had no idea what they were doing to begin with is crazy! I had been needing new tires for over a year and finally broke down and started shopping around…read moreonline. I checked prices at Walmart, Costco, the Toyota dealership and Tires Plus, and for the quality, Tires Plus by far had the best price (they were running a sale and it ended up being almost $70 cheaper than Walmart for a set of 4, good quality tires). I was able to shop around online, compare tires/prices, make my selection, and after seeing an estimate of what my total cost would be for the tires and installation (AKA no hidden fees), schedule my appointment online. I made an appointment on a Wednesday for 6 pm that Friday. I ended up being early by about 30 minutes and they had no problem getting me in right away. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and, most importantly, the bill I got was exactly what the online estimate had been, down to the penny. They offered me a warranty, which I declined, and that was the end of that. I didn't feel pressured to buy the warranty or any other unnecessary services or upgrades. The annoying sales tactics at a lot of car places is a huge pet peeve of mine, so they get major bonus points for not engaging it that. Since they close at 7 pm, I anticipated that I would drop my car off and pick it up the following day. When I went to confirm this with the woman at the front counter, she stated they had planned on getting it done that night, but I could pick it up the next day if I preferred. My husband and I decided to wait and just hung out in the area for an hour and a half. We called to check the status after about an hour (we were still really skeptical they were going to be able to install the tires in an hour and 15 minutes) and were told it would be ready around 7. We arrived at 7 and it was done within 5 minutes, which actually meant the mechanic and front desk woman stayed a little late to accommodate us. I have been driving on the tires for a few weeks and am very happy with the quality of the tires and have had no issues thus far. If you are shopping for new tires or need any other car services they offer, I would definitely recommend this place. Good quality and great service!
