Extremely Frustrating - Refusing to Take Responsibility for Alignment I took my 2010 Mazda 3 to Firestone for an alignment, and since then, my car has been pulling and yanking dangerously. When I spoke to the store manager about it, he immediately said it wasn't the alignment and claimed the problem was my "steering pump." My car doesn't even have a steering pump, so that explanation makes no sense. I called Firestone corporate to explain the situation, hoping they would at least have the store inspect my car to figure out what's going on, but the store still refuses to look at it without charging me. I paid $145 for an alignment that has caused issues, and now I'm being told I have to pay again just to have them check their own work. This has been incredibly frustrating. I expected professional service and accountability, but instead, I'm met with incorrect information and unwillingness to address a clear problem caused by their service. Overall, a very good experience. Called in and easily made an appointment. I find making an appointment online is not dependable so I always call. When I arrived they got to my car right away for an oil change. Everyone is responsive and friendly. The store was clean. In my opinion this was one of my better visits to a Firestone in the Omaha metro area. I would come back to this store in the future. read more

My family has been a patron of Omaha area Firestones for close to 20 years. When we were younger, we would take our cars woes to Todd, at the Bellevue Firestone location. He would inspect our cars then call my dad at work and they would discuss the necessary repairs and recommended maintenance. He was always honest, fair, and reliable and my father trusted his judgment. As I got older, "Go see Todd" was a regular piece of fatherly advice. Boyfriend thought he could fix your car and now it makes a weird noise, "Go see Todd." The check engine light turns on and off with the waxing of the moon, "Go see Todd." The 40k mile tires the dealership sold you are bald after 20k miles, "Go see Todd." Another car service chain quoted you the equivalent of a month's wages for a repair, "Go see Todd." Upon moving back to town as an adult, I went to the same Firestone and asked for Todd. I learned that Todd had since been made manager at this West Omaha store. For the next several years I would drive across town to the West Omaha location to have my vehicles serviced by someone I knew I could trust. Todd always explained the problem and solutions in a way I could understand without making me feel ignorant. He gave me options and recommendations and never made me feel pressured into making a purchase. I didn't have to ask for a special or sales price, he always proactively explained the promotions they were running and gave me the best price he could. On rare occasion when the initial repair didn't ultimately fix the problem Todd sincerely invited me to bring my car back and let him make it right without extra charge. I wish it were possible to give a rating below 1 star, because this Firestone has definitely earned it. I used to take my older Toyota here for everything I ever needed--oil change, new tires, check engine light came on...and they were always upfront and straight with me. They never once told me I needed to have some totally outlandish maintenance done on my car or made me second guess their integrity for the 7 years I took it here. I bought a new car that came with free oil changes from the dealer last year (YAY!) and so I didn't frequent this place any more...until I found my alignment to be off after a small accident so I took her into Firestone...WRONG MOVE. They completely took advantage of me and charged me for things that I did not need and WORSE for things they did not even do! They told me they weren't able to completely align my car because there was body damage. I immediately took my car to Dingman's who said there was nothing wrong with the body and recommended I go to R&G. There, they found the real culprit: a strut so obviously bent that even I, who couldn't even tell you what a strut was prior to this, knew this thing was messed up. I will never take any vehicle here again and will do everything I can to make sure others don't either. They take advantage of people who do not know the ins and outs of cars and especially women. Went to Firestone to buy a headlight for my car. When the tech rang it up he said it would be over$70. Now I had just bought a headlight for my other light about 3 months earlier and only paid $25 so I know the price he gave me was wrong. He never once apologized, but said oh for some reason the labor amount had tripled on him. Then I proceeded to let the corporate office know what had happened. I gave them my name, the store address, date and time of day. And they respond to me by wanting to know the invoice number. Wow! Please don't take your vehicle to Firestone, as they seem to be very dishonest. read more

This is probably the most racist auto shop I've been too. Walked in & the man at the front did not greet or even try to assist me nor my husband. Luckily the workers in the garages were able to help us with our car. Worst Customer Service!! read more

You guys SAVED my day! I was traveling for work and had to get to Lincoln quick, fast and in a hurry for a filing deadline and I left my hotel in the morning to a flat. UGH! There was no saving the tire, but they were able to get me out the door in about 20 minutes for a decent price! VERY pleased! read more

My battery died after work and I started making phone calls to see who could help me out right away. Firestone on 180 and Center had my battery replaced within 1 hour of my car dying. They were so helpful and fast. I will continue to use Firestone b/c of this experience! read more

Firestone on west center and 132nd cross threaded my lug nut during a brake inspection took an hour to "not get the tire off" when they assured me it should only take up to 30 minutes and then they offered no compensation for their wrong doing and the store manager George even insisted we were at fault and refused to give us the district phone number as well as refused us service of any kind. If I could rate 0 stars I would. Also, a tech assured me my vehicle was safe to drive when they didn't even test drive it. I would highly recommend anywhere else but here the staff is rude and inefficient and uncompensating. Very very displeased and will be following up with corporate immediately. As for George and the mechanic Andrew who worked on my vehicle, doing business with them was about as wasteful as dumping my check down the garbage disposal and not to mention my wasted time. read more
