Immediately when I came to Bramalo's I was greeted with a warm, friendly staff. The last time I have been to this location, it was previously a restaurant called Gino's. Since then, they have red decorated the interior and made it look really nice. My group started with an appetizer of zucchini chips that were really good and that's coming from someone who does not like vegetables. I am dairy free so usually going to an Italian restaurant is a chore since a lot of dishes have cheese. Luckily there were quite a few vegan options. I ended up getting a Bolognese. It came with zucchini noodles, but they allowed me to substitute that out for a regular pasta. Everything that I ate was really good and the portion sizes were enough that I had leftovers for the following day. Overall, I had a very nice time there. read more

Bramalo's take the standard Italian restaurant style and give it a great modern tweak with some unique pizzas and pasta dishes, sandwiches and appetizers. Expect all of the staples, but if you're feeling frisky maybe try the Big Mac Pizza - this one is for real!! Wow!! Bigger than I expected as it's one of their personal pizzas and it tastes exactly like "two all beef patties special sauce lettuce cheese pickles onions on a sesame seed bun." I also tried a chicken vodka parm sandwich that was on that nights specials menu and it was amazing. Also the fried zucchini was done phenomenally well, fried as crispy and thin as a potato chip with a horseradish sauce that on point! They had a ton of other unique pizzas I cannot wait to try. Nope!!! We have purchased from Ginos and then Bramalos for 20 years! We ordered 2 pies for dinner and we were so disappointed. First we ordered the Spinach Artichoke pie. We've ordered this pie forever. Well simone decided switch the recipe from a grandma style pie to a round pie with no sauce. BO ONE TOLD US!! It sucked for $30 nope!! Secondly we ordered a grandma pie... it was closer to Sicilian as it was very thick and had little to NO SAUCE!! I called and the girl told me basically to bad so sad... NEVER AGAIN!!! Came here for lunch with my best friend on a weekday, and the service and food was amazing. We sat in the back in the Restaurant section. I didn't get our server's name, but she was very attentive, friendly, and nice. For appetizers, we got the clams oreganata which was delicious! And for entrées, my best friend got the salmon with the white wine sauce, and I got the lemon pesto fillet of sole. For our side, we got risotto. I loved , we loved everything from here!!! It was so delicious. I think this is the best place for the lemon pesto fillet. Amazing! read more

Vegan update - The food is still delicious, but we're disappointed that they stopped offering vegan sausage and plant based brunch items (other than avocado toast). Today I placed my usual order including vegan escarole and beans, and they said it has chicken broth in it, can't make a vegan version. Glad they still offer vegan cheese for pizza and that the marinara is vegan. read more

We have become regulars at this location because the food is always consistently delicious. The service is always great and friendly.

We just had dinner here tonight. I got chicken primavera which was grilled with lots of crisp veggies in a garlic and oil sauce. It was delicious. My husband got eggplant parmesan. It looked very good and not mushy or overly cheesy like some other places make it. He said it was so good. With entrees you get a choice of side salad or pasta. We chose salads. Portions were big, so glad we have lunch for tomorrow lol. Our server was nice as were the other staff. Prices are good too so we will be back. read more

Stopped into Bramalo Pizzeria in Bellmore for a slice of pizza and a rice all. The rice ball to my request had cheese , not meat. It was tasty and a nice melt of cheese. The pizza slice was a Grandma one. I haven't tried anything else but when in the area I may go back. read more

Went into trying this place with heating good reviews from people that are foodies on TikTok. It was an evening of running around and decided to order out. We ordered: two regular slices, a Buffalo Chicken Salad, a white slice with mushrooms, a vodka slice, a chicken roll, shrimp taco and chicken taco. The regular slices were good, but cheese needed to be cooked more. The Buffalo Chicken Salad was good but, the chicken literally was boneless Buffalo wings; dry and over cooked. The pieces were the size of golf balls. The tacos seemed fresh but lacked flavor even with the sauce. The white slice, chicken roll and vodka slice were mediocre. We stopped in for a quick bite for dinner. It was a quiet night the restaurant was not very busy which was nice. For our meals we had the kids chicken fingers and fries, shrimp Parmesan, Rigatoni Alla Vodka with chicken and a Caesar salad with chicken. The food was really good. This establishment is poorly lit, I don't remember seeing the name on outside it's in a busy shopping center, tuckedin behind Dunkin Donuts. The dining room is plain yet clean. I had a surprise party here yesterday for my mother's 85th birthday. Everything was great, from the planning stages all the way through. We had avocado toast and troffolini as appetizers. We gave our guests the options of chicken and waffles, create-your own omelette and strawberry French toast. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. Since we used the private room, we were able to decorate how we wanted. The room was spacious enough for all the guests to socialize without feeling crowded. We usually love this place and usually have a pleasant experience. Today the food was still 10/10. The service was ok. The only issue was that the heat was not working. And instead of being upfront about that, the staff just kept telling us that they will tell "them" aka management, to turn it up. We had a large party with children. Everyone was extremely uncomfortable. The staff just kept telling us that the heat is on 77.... Meanwhile when I walked up to the thermostat it was set to 77 but was 63 in the room. The vents were letting a cold breeze in. It's not the staff's fault. It's management. It's unacceptable to have people sit down to eat with no heat. Get a few space heaters as a quick fix if the building heat is broken. It's unacceptable. A manager should've come to everyone's tables and explained/apologized. That kindness would go a long way. Great experience at Bramalo. I found this place through Instagram and the food looks great so we decided to give it a try. I got the zucchini linguini with pesto. I was excited to try it, as I'm a huge fan of pesto. The zucchini linguine was cooked very well. Not too soft, not too hard. I wasn't a big fan of the pesto. It was very oily, and there was soo much garlic on it, and made it not very enjoyable, wouldn't order the pesto again. Definitely would get the zucchini lunguine again though, with a different sauce maybe. I added meatballs, with sauce on the side. Weren't bad at all. Mom enjoyed the grilled sweet Italian sausage with broccoli rabe and side of penne pasta with garlic and oil. My grandfather seemed to enjoy his lasagna, it came large, spread across a place so there wasn't much layers, so was a bit different. We did see some fruit flies around, but the manager and chef both came out to inspect, and assured us they would take care of the issue. They profusely apologized and we could tell it was sincere, and taken seriously. They gave us a discount on our bill, and also gave us a $25 gift card in hopes we return to try again. I'm sure it'll be taken care of. They came out with a vanilla chip gelato with a sparkling candle for my birthday, and the gelato was AMAZING! We did have a very good experience, but the fruit flies and pesto were the only issue I had. Still giving 5 stars because the flies are an easy fix, and can happen anywhere. My wife and I have ordered takeout many times and it has always been very good, from the pizza, soups to various pasta dinner entrees. This time we decided to sit down and dine in we were very much pleased we did. The service and meals were not only delicious but the Chef, Josh came over a few times to talk and treated us each to a cup of delicious corn, chicken tortilla, root vegetable soup. My wife had a delicious Pasta Fagiole and I had the most moist and delicious generous portion of Chicken Francaise with an equally perfectly cooked Risotto. Needless to say we will be returning and will be dining there more often. read more
