I went into Bramalo expecting a solid neighborhood pizzeria and ended up being genuinely impressed by how creative their Sunday brunch menu is. The Breakfast Pizza was the first thing that caught my attention. It's made on their grandma crust with sausage, scrambled eggs and cheese, and it was fantastic. Great crust, great flavor and absolutely no flop. The Filet Mignon Fried Rice was probably the biggest surprise of the meal. I never would have expected to order something like that at a pizzeria, but it worked really well. I also loved the Braised Short Rib Benedict with crispy potatoes, caramelized onions, mushrooms and chipotle hollandaise. Such a good twist on a traditional Benedict. The Brunch Wrap Supreme had a great jalapeño aioli that really tied everything together, and the Wild Thing Hero is basically the ultimate loaded breakfast sandwich. The Prosciutto Egg & Cheese was another standout, especially with the crispy Prosciutto di Parma on their homemade buttery croissant. My favorite dish of the entire visit was the Eggs in Purgatory. The eggs poached in their chunky Arrabbiata sauce with Pecorino Romano, basil and crostini was exactly the kind of warm Italian comfort food I love. Really, really good. They're also serving Lavazza espresso, have a huge projector showing NFL RedZone on Sundays during football season, and offer a $22 bottomless option with mimosas, Bloody Marys or draft beer. Bramalo is definitely much more than "just a pizzeria." If you're looking for a different kind of brunch spot in the North Bellmore area, this one is absolutely worth checking out. read more

Catered for my grandsons graduation family get together. Food was absolutely the best I have catered from in years. Half trays were plentiful and delicious. Immediately when I came to Bramalo's I was greeted with a warm, friendly staff. The last time I have been to this location, it was previously a restaurant called Gino's. Since then, they have red decorated the interior and made it look really nice. My group started with an appetizer of zucchini chips that were really good and that's coming from someone who does not like vegetables. I am dairy free so usually going to an Italian restaurant is a chore since a lot of dishes have cheese. Luckily there were quite a few vegan options. I ended up getting a Bolognese. It came with zucchini noodles, but they allowed me to substitute that out for a regular pasta. Everything that I ate was really good and the portion sizes were enough that I had leftovers for the following day. Overall, I had a very nice time there. read more

Bramalo's take the standard Italian restaurant style and give it a great modern tweak with some unique pizzas and pasta dishes, sandwiches and appetizers. Expect all of the staples, but if you're feeling frisky maybe try the Big Mac Pizza - this one is for real!! Wow!! Bigger than I expected as it's one of their personal pizzas and it tastes exactly like "two all beef patties special sauce lettuce cheese pickles onions on a sesame seed bun." I also tried a chicken vodka parm sandwich that was on that nights specials menu and it was amazing. Also the fried zucchini was done phenomenally well, fried as crispy and thin as a potato chip with a horseradish sauce that on point! They had a ton of other unique pizzas I cannot wait to try. Came here for lunch with my best friend on a weekday, and the service and food was amazing. We sat in the back in the Restaurant section. I didn't get our server's name, but she was very attentive, friendly, and nice. For appetizers, we got the clams oreganata which was delicious! And for entrées, my best friend got the salmon with the white wine sauce, and I got the lemon pesto fillet of sole. For our side, we got risotto. I loved , we loved everything from here!!! We've ordered this pie forever. Well simone decided switch the recipe from a grandma style pie to a round pie with no sauce. BO ONE TOLD US!! It sucked for $30 nope!! We ordered: two regular slices, a Buffalo Chicken Salad, a white slice with mushrooms, a vodka slice, a chicken roll, shrimp taco and chicken taco. We just had dinner here tonight. I got chicken primavera which was grilled with lots of crisp veggies in a garlic and oil sauce. It was delicious. My husband got eggplant parmesan. It looked very good and not mushy or overly cheesy like some other places make it. He said it was so good. With entrees you get a choice of side salad or pasta. We chose salads. Vegan update - The food is still delicious, but we're disappointed that they stopped offering vegan sausage and plant based brunch items (other than avocado toast). Today I placed my usual order including vegan escarole and beans, and they said it has chicken broth in it, can't make a vegan version. Glad they still offer vegan cheese for pizza and that the marinara is vegan. read more

We have become regulars at this location because the food is always consistently delicious. The service is always great and friendly.

We stopped in for a quick bite for dinner. It was a quiet night the restaurant was not very busy which was nice. For our meals we had the kids chicken fingers and fries, shrimp Parmesan, Rigatoni Alla Vodka with chicken and a Caesar salad with chicken. The food was really good. Having been a somewhat frequent customer and overall enjoy the food, they recently lowered their standards completely by taking over 90 min to have food ready with two booths of 5 each (half kids half adults) waiting. They prioritized large party over regular customers and not only had other tables or booths food ready long before ours but had the nerve to tell us to tell our kids to be quiet. When you make families wait 90 minutes what do you expect. They're kids, this isn't a museum, nor a 5 star Michelin rated establishment. When approached the manager asking where our food was, he made excuses , said we weren't waiting long, and hid behind the counter. Also never even apologized once for the inconvenience. Poor service, poor communication, and awful management. It's a shame, we use to like to eat there. Great experience at Bramalo. I found this place through Instagram and the food looks great so we decided to give it a try. I got the zucchini linguini with pesto. I was excited to try it, as I'm a huge fan of pesto. The zucchini linguine was cooked very well. Not too soft, not too hard. I wasn't a big fan of the pesto. It was very oily, and there was soo much garlic on it, and made it not very enjoyable, wouldn't order the pesto again. Definitely would get the zucchini lunguine again though, with a different sauce maybe. I added meatballs, with sauce on the side. Weren't bad at all. Mom enjoyed the grilled sweet Italian sausage with broccoli rabe and side of penne pasta with garlic and oil. My grandfather seemed to enjoy his lasagna, it came large, spread across a place so there wasn't much layers, so was a bit different. We did see some fruit flies around, but the manager and chef both came out to inspect, and assured us they would take care of the issue. They profusely apologized and we could tell it was sincere, and taken seriously. They gave us a discount on our bill, and also gave us a $25 gift card in hopes we return to try again. I'm sure it'll be taken care of. They came out with a vanilla chip gelato with a sparkling candle for my birthday, and the gelato was AMAZING! We did have a very good experience, but the fruit flies and pesto were the only issue I had. Still giving 5 stars because the flies are an easy fix, and can happen anywhere.
