Immediately when I came to Bramalo's I was greeted with a warm, friendly staff. The last time I have been to this location, it was previously a restaurant called Gino's. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Since then, they have red decorated the interior and made it look really nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My group started with an appetizer of zucchini chips that were really good and that's coming from someone who does not like vegetables. I am dairy free so usually going to an Italian restaurant is a chore since a lot of dishes have cheese. Luckily there were quite a few vegan options. I ended up getting a Bolognese. It came with zucchini noodles, but they allowed me to substitute that out for a regular pasta. Bigger than I expected as it's one of their personal pizzas and it tastes exactly like "two all beef patties special sauce lettuce cheese pickles onions on a sesame seed bun." I also tried a chicken vodka parm sandwich that was on that nights specials menu and it was amazing. Came here for lunch with my best friend on a weekday, and the service and food was amazing. We sat in the back in the Restaurant section. I didn't get our server's name, but she was very attentive, friendly, and nice. For appetizers, we got the clams oreganata which was delicious! And for entrées, my best friend got the salmon with the white wine sauce, and I got the lemon pesto fillet of sole. For our side, we got risotto. I loved , we loved everything from here!!! It was so delicious. I think this is the best place for the lemon pesto fillet. Amazing! read more

Nope!!! We have purchased from Ginos and then Bramalos for 20 years! We ordered 2 pies for dinner and we were so disappointed. First we ordered the Spinach Artichoke pie. We've ordered this pie forever. Well simone decided switch the recipe from a grandma style pie to a round pie with no sauce. BO ONE TOLD US!! It sucked for $30 nope!! Secondly we ordered a grandma pie... it was closer to Sicilian as it was very thick and had little to NO SAUCE!! I called and the girl told me basically to bad so sad... NEVER AGAIN!!! Having been a somewhat frequent customer and overall enjoy the food, they recently lowered their standards completely by taking over 90 min to have food ready with two booths of 5 each (half kids half adults) waiting. They prioritized large party over regular customers and not only had other tables or booths food ready long before ours but had the nerve to tell us to tell our kids to be quiet. When you make families wait 90 minutes what do you expect. They're kids, this isn't a museum, nor a 5 star Michelin rated establishment. When approached the manager asking where our food was, he made excuses , said we weren't waiting long, and hid behind the counter. Also never even apologized once for the inconvenience. Poor service, poor communication, and awful management. It's a shame, we use to like to eat there. Vegan update - The food is still delicious, but we're disappointed that they stopped offering vegan sausage and plant based brunch items (other than avocado toast). Today I placed my usual order including vegan escarole and beans, and they said it has chicken broth in it, can't make a vegan version. We just had dinner here tonight. I got chicken primavera which was grilled with lots of crisp veggies in a garlic and oil sauce. It was delicious. My husband got eggplant parmesan. It looked very good and not mushy or overly cheesy like some other places make it. He said it was so good. With entrees you get a choice of side salad or pasta. We chose salads. Portions were big, so glad we have lunch for tomorrow lol. Our server was nice as were the other staff. Prices are good too so we will be back. read more

Stopped into Bramalo Pizzeria in Bellmore for a slice of pizza and a rice all. The rice ball to my request had cheese , not meat. It was tasty and a nice melt of cheese. The pizza slice was a Grandma one. I haven't tried anything else but when in the area I may go back. read more

Went into trying this place with heating good reviews from people that are foodies on TikTok. It was an evening of running around and decided to order out. We ordered: two regular slices, a Buffalo Chicken Salad, a white slice with mushrooms, a vodka slice, a chicken roll, shrimp taco and chicken taco. The regular slices were good, but cheese needed to be cooked more. The Buffalo Chicken Salad was good but, the chicken literally was boneless Buffalo wings; dry and over cooked. The pieces were the size of golf balls. The tacos seemed fresh but lacked flavor even with the sauce. The white slice, chicken roll and vodka slice were mediocre. Great experience at Bramalo. I found this place through Instagram and the food looks great so we decided to give it a try. I got the zucchini linguini with pesto. I was excited to try it, as I'm a huge fan of pesto. The zucchini linguine was cooked very well. Not too soft, not too hard. I wasn't a big fan of the pesto. It was very oily, and there was soo much garlic on it, and made it not very enjoyable, wouldn't order the pesto again. Definitely would get the zucchini lunguine again though, with a different sauce maybe. I added meatballs, with sauce on the side. Weren't bad at all. Mom enjoyed the grilled sweet Italian sausage with broccoli rabe and side of penne pasta with garlic and oil. My grandfather seemed to enjoy his lasagna, it came large, spread across a place so there wasn't much layers, so was a bit different. We did see some fruit flies around, but the manager and chef both came out to inspect, and assured us they would take care of the issue. They profusely apologized and we could tell it was sincere, and taken seriously. They gave us a discount on our bill, and also gave us a $25 gift card in hopes we return to try again. I'm sure it'll be taken care of. They came out with a vanilla chip gelato with a sparkling candle for my birthday, and the gelato was AMAZING! We did have a very good experience, but the fruit flies and pesto were the only issue I had. Still giving 5 stars because the flies are an easy fix, and can happen anywhere. I had a surprise party here yesterday for my mother's 85th birthday. Everything was great, from the planning stages all the way through. We had avocado toast and troffolini as appetizers.
