Absolute scam artists - stay far away!! We walked in already knowing what we wanted and still got stuck there for seven hours. They advertised the car on CarGurus with all dealer fees included. The second we got the out-the-door number, they tried to slam dealer fees on top of the online price. When I showed them the CarGurus listing, they played dumb and said they aren't responsible for third-party sites. I pulled up the exact same disclaimer on their own website and only then did the manager backpedal, apologize, and claim he was "new." He wasn't new. He knew exactly what he was doing. Straight-up attempt to rip us off from the jump. Then came the trade. CarMax offered over $9,000. These clowns opened at $5,500. When I called them out and told them that was insulting, they magically jumped to $8,600. The excuse? "Originally we were going to put it on the lot, so we lowballed you. Now that we're giving you more money we have to wholesale it." That is pure nonsense. When I asked why he wasn't trying to get the customer the best deal, he admitted it straight to my face: he was only trying to get the dealership the best deal. Financing was the final insult. My daughter had a 740 credit score and was putting well over half down. They still tried to shove a 13.99% rate down her throat. Only after I stood up and said we were walking did the finance person suddenly "find" a bank that would do 9%. Before that they pushed every extended warranty and service package they could. And after all that, they didn't even put a full tank of gas in the car. These people will nickel-and-dime you at every single step. If you go for an oil change they will try to make you stay with some made up problem. They tried to talk us into doing a valve adjustment on our 2022 Honda Pilot. The service department came back with $1400 repair plus stating I needed every fluid in the car changed even though it was done less than a year ago?? I called around and realized they were were more expensive than anybody else. They could NOT match or beat the price from other dealerships. After an inspection fee of $250 I left pissed off. I went to my local mechanic 3 miles from home and they did the repairs for less than $300.00 out the door. I thought being a loyal customer to Brandon Honda for 8+ years would count for something and I was using my usual service writer, but NO loyalty means nothing to them except you're a sucker. They want to BLEED their customers financially dry and try to sell you services you don't even need using fear. It was my first time using the service department. My 2024 is about to hit 30,000 miles so I brought it in for oil change cvt flush and tire rotation. They will try to upsell you on "packages" but I declined. They send you a video of your "inspection" then tell you you have "critical issues" that need to be addressed. Of course trying to sell there 800 dollar package. I decline . I few minutes after that I receive a text in all bold caps stating that my battery had died and needed to be jumped twice while being worked on. What???? Anyway, he proceeds to tell me they could not find my tire key and therefore could not do my tire rotation! What??? Long story short - paid them the 200 bucks for the oil jobs . Took it to a mechanic to check the battery - guess what ? It's perfectly fine!! And the tire key was in my glovebox the entire time !!! So aggravating and senselessly stressful . This dealership typically has an outstanding service department, who put a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction first. Usually. My previous visit was less than stellar and comparison to all of the others. Typically I have no issue requesting a shuttle to take me somewhere while I wait on my car to be serviced or at the least, Brandon Honda will pay for a Lyft for me. My visit a few days had me asking for the status of the shuttle every 15 minutes and after an hour, still nothing. My car ended up being done by the time the shuttle came around which I was happy that it was done quickly, but still upset that I had missed out of my morning plans of breakfast around the area. With that being said, this dealership still offers a great price for an oil change, multi inspection, and complementary car wash. If you have one of the frequent coupons they mail or email. My only complaint would be the shop fees and additional hidden costs that are not included in the coupon price as I feel them to be a little bit higher than they should be but in the end, it's still one of the cheapest oil changes you can get and backed by Honda. A video of your car being serviced is texted you and also outlines any issues you may have. The techs and service advisors treat you with respect and do not try to oversell you with services you may not need, which is very rare for a dealership to do. I very much appreciate not being antagonized and haggled with especially first thing in the morning. Overall, while I'm still not too thrilled with my previous visit, this is one of the best dealerships to have your car serviced with given the great customer service, awesome free coffee selection and overall quality of the experience, so long as the shuttles are on time. In April 2025 I purchased a vehicle through this dealership. Within two months the car's check engine light came on so I took the car in. $4,000+ of work needed to be put into the car to get it running properly. The same day I picked it up, the check engine light came on again so I took the car back in. Now there was another thousands of dollars repair that was needed. Fast forward to 4 months later, the car isn't even driveable and they quoted me $12,000 to fix it. I still owe so much money on the vehicle and it's practically totaled in the less than a year that I've had it due to mechanical repairs. Came in to try to trade it in and they wouldn't work with me reasonably at all. Now I'm in a spot where I have to voluntarily repossess the car I've gotten only a year ago but have only driven for 6 months before it broke down. Beware of purchasing a vehicle from here. They take 0 accountability for their mistakes, they should've never sold me that car. And they would do absolutely nothing to right their wrongs. The manager Sam Raabe and the finance advisor Derek Quiñones handled our case with a complete lack of professionalism. Derek ran my credit multiple times, something completely unnecessary and irresponsible, which caused a serious problem with another financial process I was handling in parallel. Because of this, my corporate credit application was denied by the bank. Instead of taking accountability, Sam Raabe and his team told us that the issue was our fault, claiming they had tried to contact us multiple times -- which was completely false. At one point, we even received a call 5 days before return the car saying that we had to return the car immediately or we could go to jail. Later, they denied ever saying this and took zero responsibility. My wife and I felt attacked, disrespected, and treated with a complete lack of professionalism. We had to waste an entire day of our personal time to resolve this nightmare and return a vehicle that we were actually very satisfied with. Unfortunately, the poor service, lack of follow-up, and unprofessional behavior from Sam and Derek made the entire experience unacceptable. I was quoted $23,250 before taxes and fees in writing for a vehicle that was also advertised at $24,403. However, the contract I signed reflects a pre-tax price of over $36,000 -- a difference of more than $12,000. There is no reasonable explanation for this gap. It is not believable that a buyer would knowingly agree to pay over $12,000 more than both a written quote and the advertised price without clear disclosure. When I questioned this, I was routed to finance instead of a manager, i then went in myslef and was told in person that the starting price was around $27,000 (which does not match the original quote) There were also multiple inconsistencies with add-ons: $1,700 window tint which was never mentioned during signing (i have since specifically asked to have removed) A warranty described as "lifetime powertrain," turned to "8 years/120,000 miles," but the final documentation email now shows 5 years/100,000 miles During the signing process, my attention was repeatedly diverted with unrelated conversation, and I was not provided a clear, itemized breakdown explaining how the price increased. I was also not given a copy of my contract or paperwork at the time of purchase, which prevented me from reviewing the final terms immediately. I will be filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau, the Florida Attorney General, and the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. I bought a 2019 Nissan Sentra from Brandon Honda in 2023 primarily because of their lifetime warranty, which seemed like a fantastic benefit. However, it has now come to my attention that they do not honor the warranty, and the entire experience has been nothing short of misleading. On their website, it clearly says no additional cost, which gave me the impression that the warranty was included with my purchase. But to my surprise, they charged me for the warranty, and what's worse, they claim it lasts for the duration of your car's lifetime -- which is simply false. The warranty maxes out at $9,000, and after you pay all your $250 deductibles, it's nowhere near the "lifetime" coverage they promised. The website also says the warranty will enhance the resale value of the car, but the fine print of the contract reveals the warranty is non-transferable. So, not only does it not last as long as promised, it won't even help you if you try to sell the car. It's also worth mentioning that when I tried to have them honor the warranty, they told me the warranty is actually through a third-party provider and that Brandon Honda has no responsibility for it. This wasn't disclosed anywhere on their website, and it feels like they've misled customers into thinking they were getting a direct warranty from the dealership itself. All of this is a violation of Florida's Truth in Advertising Law, § 817.41, which prohibits deceptive practices in advertising. It's incredibly frustrating to be sold on a car under the impression that the warranty is a significant benefit, only to find out it's essentially useless. Thankfully, I am an attorney and can easily take them to small claims court. However, I believe a class action lawsuit against Brandon Honda/Morgan Auto Group would be the best course of action to address these deceptive practices. Honestly, I have never written a review this long, but I truly feel future buyers deserve to know what happened during my experience at Brandon Honda. What I went through felt extremely stressful, confusing, and at times hostile. I had to spend two days at the dealership, had several email exchanges, and experienced a significant amount of stress throughout the buying process. Despite reading several negative reviews online, I still chose this dealership because they had the color I wanted. My initial experience with the sales team began smoothly. I was quoted an out-the-door price around $42,200, which included a rebate they believed they could apply. Later I was informed that I did not qualify for that rebate, but by that point I was already deep into the process, so I decided to continue. When I sat down with the finance manager, I was presented with a contract totaling $52,925, which included nearly $14,000 worth of add-on products I did not request. When I questioned the large price increase, I was shown handwritten explanations that these products could be fully cancelled and that my final amount would return to the original price. Believing that, I proceeded--something I now regret. The next day, when I returned to complete the cancellations as discussed, things changed dramatically. I first spoke with the general sales manager. From 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, I was moved between multiple managers each giving me different explanations and presenting revised contracts that did not match what I had originally agreed to. There were long waits, tense conversations, and a lot of confusion, and I felt significant pressure throughout the process. During this time, I was placed into a loan with Westlake Financial at 11.5%, which was nowhere near the pre-approval rate I had already secured. The situation caused me so much stress that at one point my heart was racing noticeably. Ultimately, the situation was only corrected after I contacted leadership at Morgan Auto Group. The owner took my concerns seriously, and with the help of Matt from Morgan Corporate, the contract was rewritten properly using my credit union financing. For that, I am genuinely grateful. Bottom Line: This review isn't written out of anger--it's written out of responsibility. While corporate leadership eventually stepped in and resolved the finance issue, the two days I spent dealing with contradictory information, intense pressure, and a dramatically higher loan rate were incredibly stressful. Not every customer has the time, knowledge, or ability to escalate a situation to this level. I sincerely hope that management at Morgan Auto Group and Honda Corporate take a close look at what is happening inside Brandon Honda so that no one else has to go through an experience like mine. Absolutely Do Not Recommend Brandon Honda - Ongoing Safety Issues & Dishonest Service I purchased a 2018 Honda Accord from Fernando at Brandon Honda on October 25, 2024. Within the first week, I had to return the car twice due to a strong gas smell and an ant infestation. While the dealership resolved the ant issue, the gas odor persisted. I was told a fuel pump was replaced the same day, but that turned out to be false--my service advisor later confirmed no work was actually done. A month later, the electronic parking brake (E-brake) warning light started coming on intermittently, affecting the interior dome lights. Despite the brake still functioning, I was repeatedly turned away due to service being "closed on weekends," which is the only time I can visit due to work. When I finally got the vehicle in on April 23, 2025, I explained the issue clearly. Hours later, I was told the E-brake had activated during their inspection, and they could not release it. I was forced to pay for the repair on the spot or risk not getting my car back. I'm a single mother--this was not an option. Even after paying, the light and dome light issue persisted. Another advisor claimed coffee was spilled into the E-brake mechanism. I don't drink coffee. Two weeks later, the E-brake warning light came back on, and I was told the new repair would cost $5,000. Despite repeated requests, they have not provided the Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) inspection report I'm entitled to. I was told they only visually check the E-brake button during inspections--not the internal components. That's unacceptable and dangerous. I recently bought a car from this dealership, the salesman Noah was great, I wanted to pay cash for the CRV, and the manager quoted a ridiculous over the sticker price, I should've left right then, shame on me. The manager said $41,000 when the car was $35,055, I said I wanted to pay $35,000 out the door he came back at $37,000 but had to get a loan to get that price, so I agreed. I was sent to the finance dept. and met Robert he worked on his computer and didn't say much, he told me banks don't like to do all this paperwork just to have it paid off right away, I didn't care if I got it for the price that was quoted. He kept working only to have me sign the computer for the loan, I didn't see the numbers because I thought we were all set on the price. well he added a extended warranty plus he used a third party vendor for the loan instead of just using Honda financing, and the vendor charged me $399 to use them which Robert never told me, he probably got a bonus for using them, plus he charged me a high interest rate and I have a great credit score, I should have asked to see the paperwork but I didn't so that's on me. I leased a brand new Honda Pilot Elite, end of May 2025 from NJ where I live. I am currently in Fla for the winter. My husband brought my car to Brandon Honda for an oil change, the day before my husband brought it there, a code was showing up. They told my husband that it was a rear differential code and that it was not covered. They charged my husband 170.00 dollars. The car is 10 months old and has 8,500 miles on it. This should have not been an issue. And if it was, it should be covered as I have bumper to bumper coverage on a brand new lease. This all took place on March 28th. I have been dealing with Honda customer service and getting nothing but the run around with them. I called my dealership in NJ today and they even told me something like that doesn't go till over 30,000 miles and I have full coverage. My husband also pointed that out to Brandon Honda when he was there, and they basically brushed him off. This is the first time I have leased with Honda, and I did it purely for all the recommendations of how good Honda is. This has definitely not what I would expect from Honda, or a way to keep a future customer. I have been advised to go to the BBB as well. It is upsetting that I even have to go this route. I traded in a 2020 Hyundai Palisade for a 2023 Odyssey Elite on 26 Feb. I was supposed to get a $22K back to me as part of my trade in agreement and was told it would take a few weeks. never ever get a extended warranty from them. my was car is totaled and they drag there feet to get you a refund. The warranty company is owned by dealer so you get the run around from finance And warranty company. The process should not take 3 months to get a refund. My wife bought a 2018 Hyundai Tucson there in 2022 and we were repeatedly told that our purchase included the package which was presented to us as being a warranty for the life of our vehicle that would be honored nationwide. we never received any literature on the package although we have asked for it several times. I have on file copies of your advertising that says all used car purchases include the package. Came into the service department on Christmas Eve, had an appointment booked for a safety Recall to have inspected as well as a routine oil change. You would think there would be at least a little holiday cheer in the air but my service advisor Jason B. had the worst demeanor possible. Instantly started questioning everything I said about my appointment being booked and that an Oil change wasn't covered under Honda Pass unless it was 15% or lower, when the dealer originally stated 30%. (The car was at 20%) I recently bought the vehicle in March, and i'm glad I didn't purchase from this dealership and will not be bringing my new vehicle back here for service in the future. read more
