This included condiment request and utensils. The food was good. I ordered a two piece tender with coleslaw, extra pickles, and extra slaw. I like to eat it like a big salad. Try it if you love the kale slaw. It was really good. Sometimes I think they give you 3 tenders of they're small to compensate. My problem with that is you get more batter on those smaller pieces. Came here recently and it was packed, which is always a good sign! Luckily they have the option to order in person or use the kiosks, which made things quick and easy. I ended up using the kiosk and the process was super convenient. It had been a while since my last visit to this location, so I ordered my usual to go: a sandwich, a tender, and a side of mac and cheese. When I got home, everything looked just like I remembered. This was our first time at Dave's Hot Chicken. I don't eat meat or poultry but my daughter told me about the cauliflower slider so we went. I ordered the cauliflower slider meal and the cauliflower was so crispy and I got medium spice and it was perfect. My boyfriend got 2 sliders-1 hot and 1 reaper. Omg! Came here on a Sunday. Not a great deal of parking but people are moving in and out quickly. There's a lot of space inside and outside to eat. It's clean inside and quiet. Their bathrooms are clean too. Service was great . They have a screen that lets you know when your food is ready, pretty helpful. I ordered 2 meals with 2 sliders, fries and mac, hot and medium in heat level. I also ordered the mini sliders in reaper . Food was hot, chicken was delicious as always. Hot is pretty hot, but not unbearable, medium is just right for me. The reaper on the other hand, you better have some ice/milk on hand, because it's NO JOKE. I kept the spice level at a medium, because even though I can handle hot, I'm trying to enjoy my meal. I topped it all off a small order of mac & cheese and some fries on the side. Much improved from my first visit to a Dave's hot chicken on SD. I stumbled on this location on our way to an appointment at Kaiser. There is outside seating, the inside has a corner window with a view of the traffic. The bathrooms need codes to get into but that's fair these days for a fast food place. The girl at the counter was lovely, she assisted with the menu and we discussed the heat options for myself and my son. We got a combo slider and tender, Dave's bites, an extra tender and a oreo shake. Surprisingly, this was more than enough food for myself and a teenager. The Dave's sauce was a good addition to the juicy bites and tenders. Crinkle cut fries are not usually my favorite but these were fresh and delicious. I really enjoyed them dipped in the sauce. Been coming here for a long time and every time my experiences were pretty good if not great. The food is always good. But today, RYAN RYAN RYAN. I always come in and order at the cashier which I always get helped very quickly by everyone else even when it was busy, but today, Ryan changed that. I came in to the cashier and he went ahead and helped all the other people that came in later to pick up the food, then proceeded to turn back and checked on his to go stations which had nothing for a bit until he decided to even LOOK at my direction and helped me out. No greetings or anything just "What do you want". DAMN I work in restaurant too so I understand you get bad days but DAMN. When he was done helping me he said "thank you my name is Ryan--" something something cuz he was mumbling while walking away WHILE handing me the changes. First time I tried this place. Great place for some very good food. I must say the bird was done right. It's unpretentious but scored really well on food preparation. If anyone likes fried chicken this is it. Better than Any chain including Jolly B. Better than any KFC or Korean Fried chicken by a million miles. The heat levels are serious. Still the best chicken sandwich! Also, the window that faces the intersection is perfect. Great view of the bustling city of Fontana. The staff here are friendly and that is key due to the business of this location. Having great food is half the battle. People aren't taught kindness. Leilani is exceptional worker! Goes above and beyond. When something is requested, she's on it. Not everyday do you experience a positive attitude in the workforce and she exemplifies this. Unfortunatelyit wasn't so good when while I was waiting for my order a fight broke out and it was between an older gentleman and one of the staff, which they were recording each other. I've come in once and ordered twice now with Postmates. I've also ordered from the Ontario one and there is a definite difference in the quantity and quality of food between the two places. I always order the two tenders meal and it seems like Ontario gives you two chicken breasts and Fontana cuts a chicken breast in two pieces. The Fontana orders are always really dry and they never give you extra Dave's sauce. I love the food everywhere but from this particular spot. I've tried it in San Bernardino and even in Arizona.
