Came on a Thursday night around 5pm really liked their margaritas pitchers; we had the mango and cucumber pitchers. I ordered chicken fajitas, it passed but I would have preferred more veggies and green salsa. The salsa with their chips was good tho. Service was ok, I guess my expectations may be a little over the top but where I was seated I could hear the waitress/bartender conversation and just couldn't see how it would be appropriate. Great micheladas and we only tried an appetizer but it was great. It's a little pricey but it was definitely worth it. Our bacon wrapped shrimp app was around $37 and each michelada was $15-$20 I think depending on which one you chose. I'll definitely want to go back. read more

This wasn't a calm conversation or a disagreement it was yelling, anger, and a public scene that should NEVER happen in a workplace. It was aggressive, humiliating, and honestly disturbing to watch. It made the whole place feel unsafe. But what really pushed me to write this review is the overall atmosphere behind the scenes. There's a coldness here a lack of empathy, communication, and basic respect, even toward their own family members. You can feel it the moment you step in the back or see how people interact. It's like everyone is walking on eggshells. And without getting into private details, I'll say this: a young daughter in their family went through something incredibly heavy and heartbreaking this past summer. She clearly needed support, understanding, and a healthy environment but based on what I saw and heard, she didn't get that. What happened to her should've shaken this entire family and forced them to reflect on their actions and how they treat people. Instead... they act like nothing happened. Like she was never even part of the family. There's no acknowledgment, no growth, no change just the same behavior, the same hostility, the same atmosphere that makes you understand how someone could feel alone even while surrounded by people. That's why I can't support this business. There's more to running a restaurant than serving food. The way they treat the human beings around them tells you everything you need to know. read more

So I had it gone on the 19th of December, which was on a Friday with 3 girl friends and the tallest waiter (forgot her name) charged me for two buckets of beer, when I HAD TOLD HER ONE BUCKET a order of five Mexican candy shots when I clearly Told her for 4 because it was four of us and she charged me for an extra one smh and a Michelada with just a lemon and tajin as garnished with no shrimp at all, and my total was $140 you do have to check your receipt double before you pay just fyi also it was a bad customer service not once did they stop and check on our table. Too loud. Drinks have no alcohol at all. I asked my server and she said they are already premixed. I asked to speak to the manager, she said he was busy. 10 min later a guy comes to me and asks what was wrong, I explained that the drinks had no alcohol, and he left. 5 min later he comes back and leaves a shot of I don't know what kind of watered down tequila. I was craving fish tacos and this popped up in one of the best reviewed in the area. I absolutely loved the fish tacos. They were perfectly fried in a crunchy yet light coating, and the fish was plentiful and in great proportion. The two fish tacos that came in the meal was a bit pricey, though was well worth it! The sauce that it was topped with was a had a nice kick I loved it so much. Service is amazing. It is located in the complex of a Stater Brothers and doesn't look impressive from the outside but the food was amazing. The inside is also newly remodeled with plenty of tables and a new, clean bar area where they serve beers on tap and micheladas of course. Seems like a great place to hang out! read more

The food is good here but be very careful when they charge you specially with this waitress that I dnt know her name but she is not Mexican she has a different accent with tick eyebrows, black hair and long hair, she is not that tall, she overcharge us giving herself a tip of $40 (on a Thursday night) the management of this place should be very careful with the people they hired because she did the same to my cousin (Alsatian night time), in top of that she was drinking with other people at a different table, she easily refill her glass with margaritas around 3 times while we were there, I dnt think management allows that it looks very unprofessional. read more

This was my first time visiting the restaurant, the staff was very welcoming and quick to serve us. Our micheladas were perfect balance of mix and beer, very refreshing. I ordered the caldo camaron and I was so lost in eating it I forgot to take a picture. The chili oil it came with gave it the perfect spice. My friend ordered the camarones a la Diabla, the flavor was amazing, and the name is accurate for the spice level that it consisted of. I ordered a margarita at the end of our visit and was delighted with the lime margarita having an authentic lime flavor and not like a store bought mix. as someone who was a first time customer at this restaurant... let's just say this will be my first and last time i ever come to this restaurant. my friend and i came here because on Yelp it showed they had really good drinks. so that is what peaked our interest. my review has nothing to do with our waitress. she was nice, helpful, and very pretty. i give our waitress a 8/10. however, my review is mostly about the ambiance / environment and the food of this place. i am not a Spanish speaking person however, I don't mind listening to Spanish music especially at a Mexican restaurant l, it is to be expected.. which i love. i love the music. it's a vibe while eating Mexican food HOWEVER. why in the world would a small restaurant hire a LIVE band to play LIVE music SOOOOOO loud??? i literally couldn't hear myself think. i couldn't hear or understand my friend. my friend would try to talk to me and all I would see is mouth moving but can't hear nothing he's saying to me. i couldn't hear or understand my waitress. it was uncomfortable to raise my voice at my waitress when ordering my food so she can hear me. the music wouldn't NOT stop. the band just kept playing over and over and over SOO loud my brain couldn't handle it anymore. I wanted to run out of this place sooo bad just to give my brain a break. for a place that supposed to be a Mexican restaurant, their drinks are not good. the photos on the menu don't actually look like that when you receive it. my first order was a strawberry margarita and it was absolutely watery and disgusting. foaming texture on the top. never seen a margarita like that before. i even asked my friend to try and even he said it tasted watered down. where was the alcohol? i had asked my waitress if I can order a different drink and so i got myself a strawberry mojito. this tasted alot better than my first drink. however, it's important to make the drinks you are advertising on your menu. now let me talk about their food. I've never been to a Mexican restaurant and didn't like their salsa. i mean it's salsa, how can a Mexican restaurant get it wrong? however, the salsa at this place was not good at all. it tasted like it was store bought and not freshly homemade salsa. the guacamole was okay. i had ordered myself their birria tacos and my friend just got himself some tacos as well. he enjoyed his tacos however, i did not. the birria dipping sauce was good but the tacos it's self was not. i always had shredded meat in my birria tacos melted in with the cheese but they had put the size of tiny blocks of meat inside my tortilla bread and the cheese wasn't even spread out properly so it can melt evenly. the cheese was melted on one spot and that's why it felt like I was just eating meat and tortilla. their meat was a bit chewy. i did not like that. after we paid our bill my friend and i were happy to get out of that LOOUUD environment read more

Staff is si welcoming and friendly. We were day drinking because we could. They are huge and ice cold. We tried the shrimp ceviche and chips and ate that quickly. Service was fast and they had great latino music on play. Our waitress always smiling and attentive. We had tacos, pastor, asada and shrimp. Generous portions and great prices. I eat at La Sexy Michelada pretty often. I have eaten there in person and I have ordered with Uber Eats as well. I always receive my order on time and sometimes even earlier. I've had the tacos, the pechuga de pollo, the ceviche, and the camarones a la diabla. They are all delicious and freshly made, but the seafood dishes are particularly delicious. The customer service is wonderful. The workers are always attentive and helpful. They have live music sometimes and it's a great environment for larger groups. Came here after Mother's day mass. First time here. Service was excellent throughout. I ordered the Menudo, it did not come with hominy so I asked and yes they have it, You just have to ask for it. It was really good. In my opinion it is hard to find a good menudo place. I will definitely come back when I'm craving menudo. My husband ordered the fish tacos. He really liked them. I tasted it and to me, it was good also. The fish was nice and crispy and it came with the perfect cabbage mixture. I was super disappointed when I got home, literally shrimp, cilantro and tomato. This had no flavor at all! And on top of that I paid $20 for a small bowl that was filled up about half way. It was enough for one tostada and it was ridiculous to me! I will never buy ceviche from They again! Amazing food, great service, and ambiance to match the restaurant name. We came in with 3 young kids, which was not quite a match for the restaurant, but the server was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating to our needs. They have mostly food for adults, but a nice little kids menu as well. Although, the kid's portions would work for an adult who doesn't want a huge platter of food. Everything was absolutely delicious, and they even gave us a delicious appetizer for free to help us get settled. If you enjoy them, I recommend the micheladas; they're huge and have all sorts of yummy decorations on the glass. We're eager to go again, next time without the kids, because it's perfect for a date night. read more
