It is my favorite place to go for appliances and service. The selection is great and our service person Michael Long had a storehouse of appliance knowledge. The customer service at this location is beyond ridiculous. On my first visit, I came with the intention to purchase a laptop. I waited in an almost empty electronic dept for assistance, but I guess the three associates hovering around the register decided to go on break at the same time and preceded to stand there and stare at me. I left and ended up purchasing one from Best Buy. Stop by a second time to purchase a iPhone charger cord thinking I would just run in, get what I need, and run out. Again the dept was almost empty, but this time four associates were hovering in their usual corner doing absolutely nothing. I went past the computers looking for the cords and noticed I paid a little bit more for the computer I got at Best Buy. I still think it was worth it, Best Buy had excellent customer service. They were very helpful and answered all my questions. But anyway, I finally gave up my scavenger hunt for cords and went to ask for assistance. Even still, they refuse to leave their corner as they pointed me towards the chargers and went back to the task at hand, doing absolutely nothing. Brandsmart USA is new to us in Augusta, Ga. My first few times there were great and I never had any issues. I had no issues with my first purchase, which was a PS5. This is what made me consider shopping with Brandsmart again for a new washer and dryer. My boyfriend and I went into the store and the associate that helped us was really friendly. We chose the washer and dryer set we wanted and proceeded to the leasing department. We had been helped by the same rep before when purchasing our PS5 and she was always nice. We waiting for a while for them to find our order to go forward with the leasing process, but the rep came back 30 min later to ask for more information because the sales associate did not push the order through. After completing the process we were told our order would be delivered that same week on Friday and we went into the store on a Sunday. We were told we would be contacted a couple days before delivery about a timeframe that the order would be dropped off and I never received a call, text, or email. When the day came, our order was never delivered after waiting all day. I called customer service and was transferred to multiple different people and put on hold multiple times. I talked to so many people and had to repeat myself to different people so many times and it seemed like no one knew what was going on! Multiple people that I talked to were very unprofessional. I finally got to speak to the leasing agent who seemed to be more helpful than anyone. She said she would talk to management and give me a call back. She called me back about an hour later and told me that the sales associate never completed the order and they would have it taken care of and delivered the following week. The delivery day came and the order was dropped off. After looking at the washer and dryer, IT WAS THE WRONG ORDER. I'm not even sure what to do at this point, but if you are going to shop at this place/location, I would NOT suggest doing delivery and I would try to make sure that all orders are complete and that there are no issues before you leave because is it really worth the hassle??? Worse experience. Waited around for help. We had to go to another side of the store to get help as multiple sales agents were just standing around doing absolutely nothing. Then Pascal Effossou. comes to help as we are walking toward them and he has an attitude when I ask him what his name is. BrandsMart USA provide great deals on products such as Televisions, Appliances and so forth. However, over the last few months I was given the runaround for a Washer and Dryer bundle by the leadership of this particular store. Thankfully, I was able to find a representative who was willing to be honest about the available stock, the desired product and ensured that I would receive the best deal available. His name was Patrick E. He went the extra mile to make sure I was able to get the bundle I wanted in a timely manner along with the setup. If you ask me, we could use more men like Patrick in leadership to provide remarkable customer service even though we are getting merchandise at a discounted rate. This is my 1st engagement with the Stockbridge Store (I've usually gone to Doraville but that has now changed), and I must say that I am extremely impressed by the professionalism and willingness of each and every staff person that I encountered to assist in making my experience a positive one. I am remiss in not getting the names of all the staff that assisted me, but suffice it to say that Rosie, David Samela, Keisha in the cashiers area, as well as 2 lady cashier supervisors on duty early on the 20th and 21st of September were extremely helpful, patient, and worthy of recognition. I bought a Magnavox 32inch Smart TV. At least I thought it was, it was very limited had only the apps to that brand no internet access. I returned the TV the next day. Three small screws for the base had fallen out of the box. The manager wanted to charge me 20% of the total sales price $213.45 and would not take the TV back. Fantastic customer service inside the store with Bradley during initial trip/purchase. Delivery service was the start of the unprofessional 3week+ long saga of NON-service from this company. Rude drivers who were unmasked and dispatchers who tried pressuring me to accept faulty damaged merchandise because they "had other stops to make". They all refused to help whatsoever in finding 1.replacement parts 2.replacement unit 3.refunding the sale 4. Speaking to the sales team directly. When I called, I was hung up on constantly when I was put on hold by their customer service line. Finally when I called the store directly and spoke with the appliance manager,David Campbell he was only half useless and not sympathetic at all. Set up a second delivery date a week out and offered no apology for the behavior of their staff. Then, after waiting a full week I was called at the end of the day only to be told that they didn't have my fridge and in fact had discontinued it and returned it to the manufacture. I asked for a refund and was told I got one. But I haven't received ANY paperwork stating that I will get my money back nor any refund to my card. I'm now disputing the charges with my CC company. This is not directed at this specific location, it's more so the company as a whole. I have had effortless buys before this. I purchased a washer and dryer set during a Black Friday sale in 2021. The set sat in my moving trailer for 2 weeks before I even unwrapped them and installed them in my newly purchased home. After washing the first load of laundry the dryer made a terrible noise. I spoke with customer service about an exchange and they were happy to help. I receive an email the day before the exchange about the pickup and it's scheduled to be dropped off at the old (original shipping location) I call the expediters and have them change it which was no problem. The big day arrives no dryer, I receive a phone call later in the night saying it's being shipped from FL. still. I receive a new shipping date and I make sure to let them know of the new address, they make the address change again, and I wait....again. This time it is the week after Christmas the day before the delivery, same issue shipping address is incorrect I go through the same steps as before and get a new confirmation verbally that it's been changed. The 2nd time the big day arrives no one to be seen. I receive a call from the people at my old home that they are there to drop off a dryer. They knew nothing of an exchange. I called the expediters again apparently it was entered incorrectly. I receive a new date Jan 8 in the new year. That time comes around and no notification or call about the swap. I call again and I'm told since the failed delivery was marked complete they never scheduled a new delivery. The new date was set a third time on Jan 10 after demanding to get the new dryer. Here we are again no call no email about the pick up. I'm beyond fed up... oh and I called them today to just be on hold for 15 mins transferred for no reason then transferred back and hung up on... Update: as suspected the date was moved again after being told it was today. No courtesy call about the date being moved to now the 12th... we'll see if it arrives, the expediter did "put notes" to let me know if it's moved again.. this seriously ridiculous. Update: I received an email of confirming the drop off an now it is at the end of the drop off window and no dryer. I called them and they said they're out of stock. Totally unprofessional why tell me you have an appliance and now you're out of stock. Talked to the store associate to see if I can get an exchange there and he told me their actually discontinued and this has been an issue for months. Communication is non existent with this company. Was looking for an appliance package. I saw one I wanted but didn't have the stove I wanted. The manager Darryl Gibbs sat down and took time to create a package that I wanted with the stove I wanted. So between him and the EXCELLENT salesman I had (BRIAN) I got exactly what I wanted for under the price I wanted to pay. I was always a HD or Lowe's person. Decided to give BrandsMart a try and was pleasantly surprised. Great customer service, delivery was on time and no damages and was far cheaper than HD and Lowes'. I'm kinda torn on how to rate this place... The values seem to be pretty decent, but it's definitely not my kind of shopping experience. I'm going to go with the benefit of the doubt and dole out 4 stars (3 was tempting). We purchased a new living room from Rooms to Go ("Buy the room, get the TV!" deal was going on) and recieved a gift card for Brandsmart -- which I really like, because you can use the giftcard for literally whatever you want there. Totally a great idea. Walking in, Brandsmart is like the Home Goods of appliance/electronics stores...on crack. Bright lights, huge posters advertising where the best sales are at, rows of items glittering -- I will say the set-up is well outlined and laid out. We arrived right at opening time on a Saturday morning and the throngs of sales people were milling around everywhere...waiting to attack. And this is not really an exaggeration because everywhere we went, we could never, ever get away from a new (or previous) sales rep coming by to "ask if we needed any help." Some of the reps were also clearly fighting over us (commission, anyone?) -- not openly, mind you, but you could tell it was cutthroat to get our business. We found the TV we wanted, also wandering around to peruse the dishwashers (great selection -- I totally recommend getting your appliances here, even random items like batteries and steam mops were good deals). Once the sale is done, they do their best to usher you back out the door. First you "check out" with the sales rep, then you actually go to the cashier area to pay. Then they point you to the back where they pull your item from inventory and load it up into your car (or you can set up for delivery). Overall, we paid a lot less than we would've paid at a mainstream electronics store for our new TV. And it's a nice one so I'm happy with the end result. But, seriously -- the staff needs to chill a little on the "helpfulness" factor - yes, I'm glad you're there for me, but, please, give me 5 minutes peace to make a decision! read more

I visited this store looking for a vacuum and a washer. My first stop was vacuums. I waited and waited and waited... no one was around to answer my questions. I peeked around to see if I saw what I wanted then ventured upstairs to washers. The guy was very professional and answered my questions. I cannot recall his name. I would go back to buy from him but the rest of my experience has soured me. I went back downstairs spoke to one sales person about vacuums and went to my car to rethink before purchasing. I came back in she was on lunch so another lady assisted me. I do my research before I do any shopping. I am in sales so I know how this goes. I asked for the pricing. The lady... whose name was Holly, gave me the price. She tried to "sell me" by telling me that since I was so nice she was going to do me a favor and offer me 6 months with zero interest since I was paying with my Brandsmart card. Remind you... I did my research and already knew that any purchase over $200 would give me the 6 months no interest offer. I didn't appreciate how she tried to make it seem like she was doing me a favor. Be honest! This is what will make me take my future business elsewhere. I don't like to feel like I am being hoodwinked or bamboozled and that's what her dishonesty did. This BrandsMart located off of Mt. Zion is an okay store for appliances and electronics. The store is brightly lit and they have excellent signage everywhere so you can go straight to the section that you want. On the day I went, there were more employees than customers present. I got all the help I could possibly need. I went there for a television. Prices were reasonable and I ended up with my new tv. Prices are not reasonable for everything though. Vacuums seemed a bit pricey to me. After paying for your item, you back you vehicle into the loading dock, show your receipt, and have your item loaded into your car. It seemed very organized to me and this, I liked. They really push the warranty thing, but Clark Howard told me not to ever get those on appliances as it is a waste of money. I said no. There is no BrandsMart near me, but whenever I need an appliance, BrandsMart does come up as an option for whatever I need. That's a good thing. Three stars. read more

So I finally decide to get a new washer. Hubby and I go check out Brandsmart on a Saturday since it's less than 5 miles from our house. We find the washer we want and per the salesman we are told the washer will arrive at our house on Tuesday. We also needed to replace the dryer hose so we got one of those as well and was told by the salesman the delviery guy would hook it up for us. So I get a call on Monday to say my washer won't be delivered until Thursday...SAY WHAT!!! I tell the customer service lady that was not what I was told. So she tells me that they just got the washer in on Monday and I was like what does that have to do with me. Long story short I call back and speak to the manager in the Appliance Department. He tells me that it was an oversight on their part and the washer would be delivered on Wednesday and he would refund me my delivery charge. I had no choice but to go with the new plan. Good thing hubby works from home or there would have been HELL to pay. So the washer arrives on Wednesday and of course the delivery guy tells my hubby they can't install the dryer hose because it's against BrandsMart policy to connect new merchandise to old appliances. I called back up to BrandsMart and told them about the wretched experience I had with them and also told them they either need to train the sales staff more or have them up on what can and can not be done. Hubby and I wound up connecting the dryer hose and did a great job. Nothing has caught on fire yet! OVerall I am pleased with my washer. I must say when I went back to BrandsMart to reclaim my delivery charge there weren't a lot of hoops and paperwork to go through which leads me to believe they know their delivery service is shotty at best. Great service. Knowledgeable staff. Friendly atmosphere. Everything I wanted was in stock. Delivery was inexpensive and quick I visited this store today in search of a new Samsung washer machine. I had been pricing the one I want and similar models for over a week. I originally was going to purchase it from Lowes online because I have four children including a 7 week old and not much time to spare but their website said they did not have what I wanted in stock. So I decided to check out Brandsmart because I was going to another store nearby to purchase some patio cushions. I was greeted at the top of the stair by Mike Epps. He asked what I was looking for and took me straight to it. He quickly found my name in the computer( I had purchased a flat screen tv from them several years ago) and updated my info. All of my questions were answered and I definitely felt confident I was in goods hands. The price was outstanding. Less than Lowes but I decided to try for a credit card so I could keep my money in my pocket for now. The manager Mr. Campbell came over to approve my credit application and he was really friendly. 12 months no interest. I headed downstairs. Checked out and was out the door. Incredible selection, great prices, and a "can-do" attitude all around. Hard-working Mike in appliance sales took control of a complex order of eight refrigerators of four different types being sent to two different addresses...on different days!!, and with David on his team, made it happen. Mike made recommendations, made it a point to understand my needs. And when I needed 5 of one model, he made arrangements with the distributor to communicate availability. David even emailed his connections on the spot to make sure it would happen!! Kimberly at the cashier's desk didn't flinch at all when I hassled her with some credit card gymnastics, including waiting patiently with a sunny demeanor as I called to raise a per transaction limit. And for the item I picked up at the loading dock, Douglas was awesome, too. This was my first time here. I had lots of high ticket items to shop for, and dreaded driving all over. They had it ALL. Including the people like Mike, David, Kimberly, and Douglas to make it painless. I expected a huge operation like this to be difficult. Instead I got the face to face service I would expect from a mom and pop, as well as all the logistical power of a huge organization. Recommend highly and will be back. read more

Sales person was wonderful, but after the sale they drop you like a hot potato! They never called to schedule my delivery, when I called them to find out when they were delivering, they tell me that it's going to be delivered the NEXT Day (after I already took the day the sales person told me it would be delivered, off). When I tried to speak to someone about getting it changed, they hung up on me or "transferred me" over a dozen times. No one wanted to take responsibility for anything and my sales person was off that day. I was literally on the phone trying to get this resolved from 10am until well into 3pm in the afternoon... I had a horrible experience with brand smart. Not only did I patiently wait two month for my item, once the day finally came they said I would have to wait 2-3 more months. The customer service as been completely horrible. When I call, no one answers. After finally getting a refund. Well,after walking inside and seeing some items which have really good prices and a large selection of TV's,appliances and other electronics then came the salespeople! I felt like I was at a timeshare seminar in a resort that enclosed feeling where they try to hard sell your an almost capo style sell, for those that know what that is. Great deals on big 65" TV's and laptops. Their are very few stores left like this around reminding of stores like Circuit City,Best Buys, taking it back stores like Crazy Eddie back in NYC. When you want to buy something they are all over you to sell when you are unhappy and want to return forget it! They are so so so terrible. They do not pick up the phone and when they do they pretend they cannot find your sales, then you try to talk to manager nobody comes to the phone. Took me 10 days to get to arrange for a return. I had done the research, so I knew what I was looking for, which helped a lot! We got to the store and went upstairs to the refrigerator section. We were greeted right away by Larry Fry, who was awesome. He took us directly to the refrigerator that I had researched, but it did not have the bottom ice maker. We walked a little further down the way and found exactly what I wanted. Ice in the door and bottom ice maker as well. It was $300 less than the lowest price we could find. I had a great experience with Customer Service at the BrandsMart Stockbridge location with Aldercy. My heater element had gone out in my dryer that I had purchased from them two years ago, and my extended warranty that I had purchased along with it was not showing up in the system to place a claim for a repair. She went above and beyond to locate my service contract, uploading it to the system, emailing it to me and even calling me back within 20 minutes to let me know she had done all this. Deceiving installation promises, I asked all the right questions and still got screwed. You pay $39 for delivery which took more than a week, then you must pay another $99 to have item installed. I even had to call to get that information.... Bad customer service I actually called and asked if installation was included and was told it was. I wish I had listened to my husband and bought my dishwasher from Best Buy. It wouldn't be sitting in the middle of my kitchen until the 25 to be installed. Very unhappy customer. While this store boasts a large selection, most of it feels dated. The computer and camera accessories feel at least 3-4 years behind. And when it comes to computers, that is a lifetime. The car audio department always looks as though it has been raided and left bare. Don't even think about calling ahead to ask about what they have in stock. They will put you on hold for 2 hours and then hang up on closing time. (Has happened twice). The only reason I give them a 3 out of 5 instead of a 1 is due to their competitive pricing. read more

Young man brought television to the loading dock. I brought to his attention that the box was wet and damaged and I would prefer another television. He stated he had to check with the manager. Young lady with a orange shirt, she began opening the box I stopped her and asked her to please just bring me another television no need for her to open the box. She said it was procedure. At that point she instructed me that I had to now return the television and be re-issued another television while I'm at the loading dock." Box still on loading dock not in my truck". Horrible Customer Service horrible experience outside of the store. Customers beware please be vigilant about your purchase before excepting ownership. She yold us the camera set had a 2 hour backup battery, NOT True!. We later contacted store about this and other issues with the Night Owl cameras and we were disrespected and spoken to in harsh tones and told we were stuck with product and out of luck.
