A thoroughly professional body shop that doesn't leave you bent out of shape. A minor fender bender was diagnosed and estimated with care and precision at a price that was half of the local Toyota dealer who must have thought they were restoring a Rembrandt. The job was done two days early at the agreed upon price with my freshly cleaned vehicle looking as renewed as a plastic surgery obsessed socialite (actually much better with less miles.) (0 STARS) I WILL NEVER GO BACK OR RECCOMMEND ANYONE GO HERE * Update 29May2026 Refused to take any responsibility for repainting my car without consent and not following the pre-agreed upon plan. Remained silent on the additional damage to my steering wheel. Filing a complaint with the BBB as well as contacting NJM Ins to have a complaint in their file to not recommend customers take their cars there *Update- 28May2026 Called 4-5 hours after dropping off car. Daisy answers and I ask to speak to Tyler. She replies back rudely "Is he expecting your call?", comes back and says he is away from his desk, can she take a message. I said, "It's ok, I will stop by the shop, I am local." Prior to arriving I received a VM from Chelsea stating they needed to repaint the hood and they are doing that now, car would be done tomorrow. I arrived to find my car parked outside ALREADY repainted. As I was standing there looking at my car Chelsea walks out and said "The paint is fresh". I walked into the office and asked for Tyler, Chelsea stated he was out sick. After being lied to that her was away from his desk I asked for the person in charge and spoke to John the regional manager. I asked him how the hood removed, stripped down to the metal, primed, and painted in 4 hours? I stated, I had an agreement with Tyler if the hood could not be fixed without painting it the following would occur: Tyler would let me know within an hour or so if the hood needed to be repainted. The paint thickness would be measured prior to sanding the hood down to the metal, and after priming, base coat, and clear coat. I would see the measurements and take pics The hood would be removed from my car as to not risk any other damage to my car or overspray In addition, the damage to my steering wheel was made worse in other areas when they tried to buff the leather with something abrasive. Went back to the body shop and spoke to Tyler highlighting the unacceptable things they did and to resolve the situation they need to replace the current hood with a new factory original VW hood and steering wheel, paint the hood off the car and call me when it's ready to swap out. Tyler stated he would need to speak to John. I also asked him to escalate this to the operations manager Scott. This is completely UNNACCEPTABLE!!! Funny side note - someone from Branning Collision looked at my LinkedIn profile this afternoon. If I could give them 0 stars I would. My car needed minor work (new hood, repaint bumper, replace parking sensor and emblem). I picked up my car to find out they took my freshly painted car to the car wash in the middle of winter when roads were covered in salt and road grime. The person there told me I should have told them not to take my car to the car wash, like that is something I should have known, and asked me sarcastically how they were supposed to wash it. After traveling out of the country for a month, I returned back and drove my car to find out the leather on the steering wheel had been scratched, there was swirl marks on the hood (I wonder why.......Car Wash), there was a speck of debris on the hood painted over, as well as a big drip of overspray on the hood. When I went back to the shop the guy told me I can't come back there and blame them for scratching my steering wheel, and swirl marks can come from towels used after washing your car.....that's why he never buys black cars. They also mentioned they didn't work on the interior of my car and couldn't have scratched the steering wheel......like they didn't have to drive my car in and out of the shop as well as drive it to the car wash!!!! They said they would try and clean the leather scratches or buff them out. How are scratches in leather cleaned or buffed to return it to not being scratched?? I would not recommend this shop to anyone, in fact, I would recommend go out of your way to go to another body shop if need be. My car is back there to fix the terrible paint job on the hood. In addition they charged me for the factory stickers that are placed on the inside of the hood, and never got them. Terrible customer service, professionalism, and work!!!! read more

Not you guys calling my wife with a bully attitude of "that's not our problem you figure it out" . Only if they were trained on phone etiquette. Nope money hungry. This was one of the best places I have ever been to for a body shop, I have gone to about seven body shops in my lifetime and their service, and final product is beyond phenomenal. I would go above and beyond to recommend this place, and will always and only use their car services going forward. They have a personalized white glove service, each and every interaction has been amazing. They are always open, upfront, honest about the needs and issues. Thanks to Danny and Tyler for hoisting my car to examine undercarriage damage caused by driving over a piece of maliciously-placed concrete rubble. I have 3 teenage kids and I've been at the Branning twice this last year. They have been fantastic from beginning to end. From the quote, flexibility to drop off/ pick up, help with a rental and just listen to me complain about my kids and my insurance company, it's been fantastic (thanks Danie!). Both times my car was ready 1-2 days before and they kept me in the loop of what was happening, the whole time. Honestly I never write reviews for anything but I thought I would write my first one about BRANNING and to be quite honest this was my first time ever dealing with them. I must say they were very professional about everything which I loved. They told me everything that needed to be done and how long it would it take. The people working there were amazing as well all so nice and if I had any question (which I did) they answered to the best of there abilities. When I first took my car my front bumper was coming off (from the driver side) and the head light was damaged a bit as well. Paint was scratched off as well and had a nice dent on the fender as well on the same side. After a week of waiting it was so worth it. The paint job was fabulous. It looked as good as the day I got it. Honestly highly recommend this place for any auto body repairs needed to be done. read more

Terrible experience! I drove my car to the auto body to have an estimate last Thursday, after that, I scheduled a time with Ms. J to pick it up, I hope it would be as soon as possible, and she told me I could only picked it up on next Tuesday, July 30, I said it was fine, then I waited about ten minutes for my Uber car, and left. But this morning, I got a call from the auto body, to my surprise, they asked me to schedule a time to pick up my car, and told me to leave my key there and sign some documents, and they also told me that I can only pick my car on August 5. My question is : Why didn't they ask me to do that last Thursday after the estimate? I had no choice and drove to the auto body, I asked Ms. J:" Did you tell me to pick up my car next Tuesday?" To my big surprise, she said with a very positive tone:" No." THAT'S NOT THE TRUTH. How could I leave my car there without making sure when I can pick it up? I even asked her how could I pay the money, and Ms. J told me I can pay when I pick up the car. What made me very upset in this case is: if they can be so dishonest to their customers, how can I trust them can fix the cars professionally? read more

I'll start by saying that the repairs they did were very good. The quality of the work was excellent. The downside of my experience was to do with meeting commitments and communication. We were quoted 8 days for repair and the car came out of the shop 5 weeks later. There were some complicating factors in their such as hurricane Sandy's passing but essentially even when you take all that out, they significantly missed. Additionally, each time they would call, they would call a day AFTER the last the commitment in order to give a new commitment. Finally, got the car back, drove it for 2 hours then it died - turns out they'd reattached the battery terminal but never tightened it. Okay, I could have found it myself - my bad - but instead it was a 2hour wait for AAA to find that out and repair it because they didn't do their job after 6 weeks. read more

Branning's is the best! The short version: my cars came back looking BETTER THAN EVER! The details: I have unfortunately been in the position of needing Branning's services multiple times in the last few years... once when I was in an accident caused by a new driver, again when my car was damaged by a falling tree limb, and just this past month when a deer tried to take me out. In all three cases, Branning's took as much pain out of the situations as possible... they are professional, kind, and good to their word. It's very clear that they pride themselves on the quality of their work... my cars look and drive like nothing ever happened to them! The second repair even came in AHEAD of schedule, which in my experience pretty much never happens. The best thing, of course, is not to need the services of an auto body shop at all. The folks at Branning Collision Center, especially Jade and Guy, SAVED MY LIFE last week! Last Thursday, I was in town visiting my folks and on my way to take my kids into NYC when we got hit by a big SUV. Luckily no one was hurt and the damage, tho it looked bad, seemed to be just to the body. BUT I had to drive back to Chicago the very next day so my son could make his concert on Saturday. I drove my car to Branning Collision and they told me they had no appointments until the end of the month. BUT when I explained my predicament to Jade, she said she'd have Guy take a look at it and see what he could do to make it possible for me to drive back to Chicago in the morning. With some elbow grease, a few screws, some Nascar tape, and clear tape to protect the now-exposed headlamp from any rain, Guy worked his magic. Not only was I able to get the kids in for their promised visit into the city, but the next morning I set off and successfully completed the 13 hr drive back to Chicago. After he finished putting my humpty-dumpty car back together again, I asked Guy what I owed him. He said "Just drive safe, m'am" The best, most compassionate customer service I have ever received from an auto shop hands down. Thank you, Branning Collision Center! Ill start by saying my auto body work was great! But the huge downside is I believe they came across as a place that "does it all" and in reality I my care also had mechanical problems that they said was previously there. It wasn't. I had to take my car to another mechanic (midas) about 2 weeks later and they looked at me and said "why are you driving! your engine mounds are done" I thought this place would have been the go to after my accident and it wasn't. read more

I was pleased to discover that my insurance company worked with an auto body shop in such a convenient location after I filed a claim following a collision, but I had not anticipated such a stress free experience having the car repaired. The office is managed in a very professional manner. We were greeted very promptly and courteously when we arrived to drop off the car. The car was inspected right on schedule and the process was explained clearly. Chelsea kept me up to date while the car was being repaired, calling to inform me that they had discovered additional accident related damage, but had already gotten approval from Nationwide to cover the additional work. My car should have been totaled. This is not just my opinion but the opinion of two separate outside appraisers my insurance company had to have look at my car after Branning repaired it. They found an additional $5000 of damage, after an almost $8000 dollar repair job by Branning. The paint job was very poor and visibly stippled. My tail light which was replaced is full of water, my bumper was not hung correctly and is gapping, my trunk does not latch properly and an inside cover to my trunk was never put back in my car. I brought up a transmission noise to the shop when I dropped the car off to them initially and it was never addressed. I was then told, by the owners son, when i went to pick up my car that there was no noise. I ended up having to bring my car to another transmission specific shop and having my transmission replaced because my car would not shift into second gear (the transmission noise was coming from a broken gear) This is by far the worse accident repair experience I have ever had. Avoid them. DO NOT trust them. They do not look out for their customers. read more

Rarely do I take to the Internet to show my disgust with a company but never before have I been so motivated to do so then after my experience this past weekend with Branning's Princeton Auto Body. Not only did they falsely claim to have fixed my vehicle but they also caused even more damage to my power windows, tinted film and to top it off, they cracked my windshield. The owner himself was the one to attempt to give me my "repaired" car back on Saturday morning and when I noticed all of the damage, he never apologized or took responsibility in any way. While I was in there, another customer picked up her car and then brought it back 5 minutes later because it was also not fixed. The level of frustration and stress caused by being in an accident in the first place was so much more aggravated by my experience with Brannings. For starters, I will say with 90% certainty that I would never recommend Branning Collision Centers, most specifically Princeton Auto Body, to anyone. Unless of course, you would rather your car be there much longer than you ever ever expect. - For those that want details, keep reading. For those that want the summary, please skip to the last paragraph. My car was hit on August 14th, and the repair was quoted for about 20 days. But 20 days turned into 46 (for the first round of repairs). I was given 3 different extension deadlines during the initial repair. I was told that they fired someone and my car was delayed because of it, and given various other excuses - none of which should be burdened by the customer. Branning saw no need in assisting with customer satisfaction with the poor service and communication. Upon picking the car up, I immediately found damage that was not completed. This was an error on the part of the insurance adjusters, and was rectified. However, Kevin at Branning said it would take 1 day "it's a simple fix". It took 3 additional days. Then, about 2 weeks later, I noticed that the rear axle that they replaced was not sitting properly under the car. On one side it was 1 1/2 inches inside the wheelwell and sticking out ¼ inch out the other side. I called Kevin on a Monday to have the concern addressed and he immediately saw it needed to be fixed. He assured me that I would be covered with a rental by Branning and we agreed on a date. I brought it in 2 days later, and he assured me it would be completed in 2 1/2 days. At 1pm of the day that he promised me, I called and spoke to Guy to check that my car would be done by close of business. I was assured by Guy that it would be completed by 5pm. At 4:45, as I'm getting the rental filled up with gas at the station across the street, I got a call from Kevin that they found something broken and the car would be in until Monday. Monday comes, and I received a call that the parts are arriving and the car should be done Tuesday. This routine of call and "wrong parts delivered" routine carries on for 3 DAYS, 3 times I was told the parts were wrong on 3 occasions. How does this happen? After being fed up and dealt with excuses and delays, I picked up my car took it away from Branning to be traded in. BOTTOM LINE: If you don't care about being lied to about completion dates, if you don't care about trust and customer relations, and if you don't mind dealing with an organization where the 2 managers aren't on the same page, then by all means choose Branning Collision Centers! They have a LIFETIME WARRANTY for their service & repairs as long as you own the vehicle, and their ability to blend paint and fix body work is amazing! Truly it is. But with service, they are ABSOLUTELY DEPLORABLE. It pretty much became very clear that the more upset that you got as a customer, the more they jerked you around and played games with delaying your vehicle. Yes, patience is good, but in the 90 days after my accident the car sat 57 days with Branning. After the third time being told "You won't believe what happened, the parts are wrong again" and it's going to be another day, as a customer I was absolutely fed up. Avoid this place to save yourself time and aggravation. read more

I had a minor parking lot hit and run scrape issue with my 13 Charger. After a failed repair attempt on my part, I went to the Brick NJ Branning Collision center, and was met by the service manager who after looking over the damage told me they would take it down to the bare metal and make the correct repair... sounding great to me, I left the car with them. Two weeks passes by and after numerous calls and visits to the shop I finally got my car back. Less then a month later, I noticed a crack forming on the Rear driver door, I contact the shop, service manager tells me to bring it in and they'll repair it, Another two weeks without my car and I finally get it back, (I noticed they put so much bondo on my car, the body line on the door literally disappeared!!! once again, less then a month later TWO cracks are visible on the drivers side door, i go to the shop and show the service manger, he tells me he's going order a replacement rear drivers side door, (which turned out to be a lie) so I bring it to him AGAIN, I ask about the replacement door and he told me he has it and just has to prep and paint it, Two days later, I get a call from the service manager who informs me they cannot make the repair without a charge, I'm livid, between what Branning received from my Insurance company and my deductible, thats almost two thousand dollars, I'm not giving that shop a nickel more. First the service manager tries to tell me its not a crack, its a shopping cart strike, which is an out right lie, then he tells me its the body work I did thats causing this to happen, I ask, how can that be since I was promised the damage would be taken down to the bare metal,and any old bondo removed... they tried everything to blame it on me when in reality its the incompetence of the shops ability to repair the damage correctly. At this point all I can warn folks is to Avoid Branning Collision centers, I wouldn't let them repair a tricycle. read more
