I later learned the services performed appear to have corresponded to an A76 service, not the A16 service my vehicle displayed and I specifically requested. At no point did anyone call me to explain that they were changing the recommended services or why a brake fluid service was being performed instead of a tire rotation. Even more frustrating, my receipt still reflected the A16 service I originally requested, making it difficult to realize there was a discrepancy until I reviewed the itemized work afterward. When I brought my concerns about the brake flush instead of the tire rotation to their attention, I was told the issue was my "confusion" and that I should have questioned the estimate sooner. Clear communication about what service is being performed-and why it differs from the service requested should be the responsibility of the repair facility, not something the customer is expected to discover after the fact. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this shop unless you are already certain exactly what your vehicle needs, understand the services being recommended, and are familiar with the typical labor times associated with the work. I expect a repair facility to provide that expertise and communicate it clearly to customers. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Separately

Prices are typical for a manfacturer service place, but a bit steep vs your local car servicer (e.g. brake fluid flush ~160, transmission fluid replacement ~140, rear differential fluid change ~110, as of July 22, 2020). If you're looking for cheaper, go somewhere else. I like the assurance of using my home car dealership however. Pre-COVID, there was always a nice indoor waiting room with tables and outlets, bagels available for breakfast and some snacks after lunch, a coffee machine, plenty of seating and a nice service staff. At the end of the oil change, they throw in a free car wash for next door. Post-COVID, the differences are that the waiting room has been brought outside (outdoor tables) with a few indoor ones scattered at least 6 ft apart, there's a mask requirement, and there's no more snacks and free car washes. Not sure if theyre still doing the promo, but when I purchasesd my car, I received a lifetime of free oil changes. Its definetely been a nice bonus. My main qualm is that oil changes are first come first serve and theyre closed on Sunday. It stinks when I can't get off work early enough and am left to the cramming it in on one weekend day. They do have extended hours on Tues and Thurs, so it does help. If you absolutely don't want to deal with walk in oil changes, they let you schedule services online and I'm sure I'm sure you can tack on an oil change while youre there.

Filing a complaint with the BBB as well as contacting NJM Ins to have a complaint in their file to not recommend customers take their cars there *Update- 28May2026 Called 4-5 hours after dropping off car. Daisy answers and I ask to speak to Tyler. She replies back rudely "Is he expecting your call?", comes back and says he is away from his desk, can she take a message. I said, "It's ok, I will stop by the shop, I am local." Prior to arriving I received a VM from Chelsea stating they needed to repaint the hood and they are doing that now, car would be done tomorrow. I arrived to find my car parked outside ALREADY repainted. As I was standing there looking at my car Chelsea walks out and said "The paint is fresh". I walked into the office and asked for Tyler, Chelsea stated he was out sick. After being lied to that her was away from his desk I asked for the person in charge and spoke to John the regional manager. I asked him how the hood removed, stripped down to the metal, primed, and painted in 4 hours? I stated, I had an agreement with Tyler if the hood could not be fixed without painting it the following would occur: Tyler would let me know within an hour or so if the hood needed to be repainted. The paint thickness would be measured prior to sanding the hood down to the metal, and after priming, base coat, and clear coat. I would see the measurements and take pics The hood would be removed from my car as to not risk any other damage to my car or overspray In addition, the damage to my steering wheel was made worse in other areas when they tried to buff the leather with something abrasive. Went back to the body shop and spoke to Tyler highlighting the unacceptable things they did and to resolve the situation they need to replace the current hood with a new factory original VW hood and steering wheel, paint the hood off the car and call me when it's ready to swap out. Tyler stated he would need to speak to John. I also asked him to escalate this to the operations manager Scott. This is completely UNNACCEPTABLE!!! Funny side note - someone from Branning Collision looked at my LinkedIn profile this afternoon. If I could give them 0 stars I would. My car needed minor work (new hood, repaint bumper, replace parking sensor and emblem). I picked up my car to find out they took my freshly painted car to the car wash in the middle of winter when roads were covered in salt and road grime. The person there told me I should have told them not to take my car to the car wash, like that is something I should have known, and asked me sarcastically how they were supposed to wash it. After traveling out of the country for a month, I returned back and drove my car to find out the leather on the steering wheel had been scratched, there was swirl marks on the hood (I wonder why.......Car Wash), there was a speck of debris on the hood painted over, as well as a big drip of overspray on the hood. When I went back to the shop the guy told me I can't come back there and blame them for scratching my steering wheel, and swirl marks can come from towels used after washing your car.....that's why he never buys black cars. They also mentioned they didn't work on the interior of my car and couldn't have scratched the steering wheel......like they didn't have to drive my car in and out of the shop as well as drive it to the car wash!!!! They said they would try and clean the leather scratches or buff them out. How are scratches in leather cleaned or buffed to return it to not being scratched?? I would not recommend this shop to anyone, in fact, I would recommend go out of your way to go to another body shop if need be. My car is back there to fix the terrible paint job on the hood. In addition they charged me for the factory stickers that are placed on the inside of the hood, and never got them. Terrible customer service, professionalism, and work!!!!

After the service, I asked for a receipt and was told it would be emailed. A day later, I still hadn't received anything, so I sent a follow-up email--no response. I had to drive all the way back just to get my receipt. When I finally got it, the receipt was vague and unprofessional. It didn't break down the cost of parts and labor--instead, everything was lumped together. They charged me $100 to replace an engine oil drain plug cap and "diagnose" the issue. I looked up the part on the dealership's website--it costs just $12. You do the math. This kind of lack of transparency and excessive pricing is unacceptable. I wouldn't trust them again. And I just realized the receipt had actually been created that same day ( the day I drove back)---meaning they didn't even prepare it after my service like they said. That's incredibly dishonest.

When my son got there, the issues started immediately. First, the listing photos were clearly taken at angles that hid major cosmetic damage. There were extreme scratches down one side of the car, a dent on the roof, and another scrape on the back that were not clearly shown in the pictures at all. Then my son got into the car and a warning light came on saying the power steering system had failed. The seller himself couldn't even reverse the car out of the parking spot. Instead of handling the situation professionally, he had my sons follow him on the highway to another garage just to diagnose the issue, only to then say it would take two hours or more to fix the problem. After they drove all that way and took time off work, he still wouldn't budge on the price or make any effort to accommodate them. No accountability, no professionalism, and no respect for other people's time. Do yourself a favor and don't buy from this guy.

After calling several european car services with varying responses and prices, upon the recommendation of a relative in the area, I called this business. *** Soryah is OUTSTANDING *** and I give her full credit for sealing the deal to service my family's car here. She not only exudes incredible EQ, patience, & understanding, but also is amazing efficiency. She answered all my questions and swiftly checked if they could provide a specific type of oil (nonstandard) I requested that I believed was optimal for this car and said YES. She also was able to assure me that they were able to top off all fluids and do the usual service checks that would be done at a european dealership for this type of car at this type of maintenance check. I asked if they could use a window cleaning additive I had purchased and she said they could try if appropriate. She then quoted a price as well as said she could find a coupon to apply. She checked their schedule and said while they were busy, they could accommodate me the very next day as long as I dropped off the car before 10am. When I asked more about the business. Soryah shared it was family run. She represented the business so well I asked if she was part of the family to which she responded she was not biologically related but was treated as family and had only great things to share about the business including they had several other locations and had been in business for over 20 years. All the other places I called were either more expensive, didn't have this level of customer service/knowhow, didn't answer/return my call promptly, couldn't not answer the questions I had right away, and didn't have room in their schedules soon/didn't work weekends! American Tire & Auto had me at hello with Soryah! :) So I was running a few minutes late the next day and called. Dale answered and said no problem. When I arrived, I was graciously told where to park and then Soryah checked me in quickly giving me an easy to read checklist of items they would be reviewing and said I could leave the special window fluid additive in the car. They called me when the work was done that same day. When I said I might not be able to make it by 5pm, she said she could wait a few minutes after that (!). When I picked up the car, Soryah went over what they found which was not much and said nothing further to do for now, but to keep an eye out for some cracks that were forming in a certain area. And the price was completely reasonable for the make/model/services done. I wish this establishment all the best and hope they continue to flourish. If only they could have a NYC location :) My relative said I'm welcome to come back to visit and have my car serviced here in 6 months! Highly highly highly recommended!!!!
