First and foremost everyone in store was fine - no issues and I wasn't upset with the situation. The car needed an oil change and I forgot to bring in the mailer stating their oil change special of 39.95. I told the lady at the counter but she wouldn't honor it because I didn't bring it in. Okay- annoying but whatever right? WRONG. They drained the oil but then couldn't get the filter out. I know this can be a common issue but to quote me nearly $400 PLUS the $80 oil change seemed insane. I called the last place that did the oil change and they completely took care of it/me. Now I paid the $80 thanked them and left. But I found the mailer and read every single word - nowhere does it state it needed to be brought in for redemption, it actually doesn't even say it's a coupon it says "oil change special" So I called the manager Blake, he was immediately rude, condescending and disrespectful. When I mentioned the tech drained the oil before taking out the filter he instantly remarked how "That's the ONLY way to do an oil change." (Truly, almost any mechanic can give you a different answer on what's right or wrong but that's neither here nor there). It was the immediate rudeness and talking down to me that really took me by surprise. I told the manager all I was asking was a partial refund since I had the ad and it doesn't say it needs to be brought in. He essentially told me too bad and again "EVERY store requires the coupons in person." He then offered that the coupon doesn't expire so I can bring it in next time. I told Blake frankly I don't know that I'll come back if this is how they treat customers. After a few minutes of back and forth regarding the coupon Blake told me I can bring the mailer in, he will write me a check for the difference, and to never come back to his shop again. P.S I called Amerifix of Franklin - I said I totally forgot my mailer at home can you still honor the coupon, they told me yes. I also asked if they usually drain the oil first or remove the filter, he said they remove the filter first. What a terrible way to do business and a terrible way to treat customers. Shame on you Blake.

Rotors warp they said it only had a 12 month warranty on it we were over 7 months over . But they wanted to charge full price and if it wasn't it was a few hundred more then any other shop around Whitehouse. I don't know what happened to them. But I'm not going there again.

They needed to keep my Jeep overnight, and arranged a ride home for me within minutes. The next day my Jeep was ready on time, and they even took extra steps (again, never happens anywhere else) to ensure I wouldn't be experiencing any issues anytime soon. I took my daughter's car in about 3 years ago for an oil leak. They told me the oil gasket was the…read moreissue and I authorized replacement. Got the car back and it still leaked. They advised the leak was coming from somewhere else. I moved on. Took the car back this past Thursday and asked that they look at the oil level and top it off if necessary due to the leak but the main reasons I brought it in were an issue with starting and a check engine light that comes on periodically. They called and advised there was an oil gasket leak but the gasket was no longer under warranty. They offered to replace for $945. I told them I did not want to spend anymore dollars addressing the oil leak and asked that they look into the starting issue & check engine light. I did not hear anything so called back Thursday around 5. Was advised that there was an electrical issue and they weren't getting any codes. They would need to keep the car another day. All day Friday I heard nothing so called back at 4 and was advised they were trying to track down the electrical issue. Told them not to bother. Need the car back today and I would pick up. The one good thing I will say is that they did not charge me anything but also, I don't feel like they did a thing to the car. Brought car home and had a friend hook it up to a code reader. There is no electrical issue. Loaded codes just fine. Will be taking the car elsewhere to get serviced and do not recommend this shop at all. Poor communication and do not feel they are trustworthy.

They then proceeded not to tell me they retrieved my car from that place when it was done, so I went to that place but they basically said I was SOL. Once I got to this place the two men behind the counter were extremely unprofessional, unhelpful, and could not answer any questions. Take your business elsewhere or pay the price.

Since I bought my RAV4, now called Nirvash, I've regularly gone to Toyota of Gallatin for service and upkeep. Apart from changing tires, I trust them with everything else I can't handle myself--like replacing wiper blades or the air filters. Over the years, I've heard some not-so-great stories about dealerships taking advantage of customers, but luckily, Toyota of Gallatin has always been honest and fair with me. Every visit, they make sure I have all the info I need to take good care of my vehicle. They even do this when there's an opportunity to make extra money from services I ask about but don't actually need. For instance, about a year ago, I went in for an oil change and tire rotation. I asked them to replace both the cabin and engine air filters. It turned out the cabin filter needed replacing, but the engine filter was still in great shape. They asked if I really wanted the engine filter replaced, showing it to me to confirm it was fine. That saved me around $50-70 that they could have charged me for that day. Earlier this week, I visited for fuel treatment and brake service. They completed the overdue fuel and engine cleaning treatment, but upon inspection, they found my brake pads still had plenty of life. They told me I was good to go, which saved over $600 in parts, labor, and taxes that could have added up. I asked for the service anyway, and they could have done it for extra profit but chose to be honest and fair about what was really needed. I've heard a lot of stories about certain dealerships just trying to rack up big bills by recommending unnecessary repairs. But so far, Toyota of Gallatin has been different. Their honesty and fairness have earned my trust and loyalty.
