Casual but with table service. My friends already had their favorites and knew what they wanted. Fabi, the owner, waited on us with a beautiful smile and great energy. I ordered the Criollo: empanada with ground beef, cheese, black beans, and sweet plantains in a crispy, flaky empanada dough. I was planning to eat half, but it was so delicious that I finished the whole thing. We also dipped it into their fabulous garlic aïoli. The empanadas are all made to order so you can customize fillings if you like. It's also super fresh when they bring it to the table. I tried some of the chicha drink. It was delicious. They made it the way I'm used to in Venezuela my country, with cinnamon on top and lots of condensed milk. We also had an empanada that it was so tasty that transported us to our country.
