Casual but with table service. My friends already had their favorites and knew what they wanted. Fabi, the owner, waited on us with a beautiful smile and great energy. I ordered the Criollo: empanada with ground beef, cheese, black beans, and sweet plantains in a crispy, flaky empanada dough. I was planning to eat half, but it was so delicious that I finished the whole thing. We also dipped it into their fabulous garlic aïoli. The empanadas are all made to order so you can customize fillings if you like. It's also super fresh when they bring it to the table. I tried some of the chicha drink. It was delicious. It was like rice pudding in a drink. My friends loved their empanadas as well. I do plan on coming back to try out more of their options (or maybe just order the same thing again since it was so good)

They made it the way I'm used to in Venezuela my country, with cinnamon on top and lots of condensed milk. We also had an empanada that it was so tasty that transported us to our country. Prices are not cheap but they are totally worth it because the food was delicious, fulfilling, and lots of it.
