The table was decorated with little hearts and a card to wish us a happy anniversary. Our servers were a team made up of Deija, Celia and Jackson. They were all very attentive and friendly. Deija was exceptional. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and when we had any questions she was able to answer them without missing a beat. They brought out their warm rolls with a side of butter. Those were very good. We started off with an appetizer of their fritto misto. This dish was fried lightly and very delicious. I wanted a caesar salad and my husband mentioned sampling some of my salad. Deija overheard this and split the caesar salad which I thought was very thoughtful and nice. I couldn't have imagined eating it in addition to the bread, appetizer, entree and side that was ordered. So I really appreciated it being split. For our entrees I ordered the double cut filet mignon with shareable mashed potatoes and my husband ordered the bone in ribeye with the corn soufflé. My picture of the ribeye came out blurry so it is not pictured, sadly. We really enjoyed our steaks, they were phenomenal. The char, temperature and the way they were cooked were very delicious and to our liking. After we finished up our entrees we were going to ask for their dessert menu. Celia brought out a cheesecake with strawberries with a plate decorated in chocolate that said Happy Anniversary. We were pleasantly surprised and thankful for the dish. Deija mentioned that she hoped it was a good choice based on some food items I mentioned to her I could and could not have. We were excited and happy with the surprise dessert, it was delightful. We really enjoyed our experience at this restaurant as well as the food. The entire occasion was heavenly. We will definitely be back in the future.

My husband didn't tell them it's our anniversary until we arrived and they set up a cute anniversary table super quick!!! They placed a card with the staff's signatures on it. Our serve Leon was amazing and went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience. The ambiance was super fancy but still yet very laid back. The food... THE FOOD!!! Ugh!! Was amazing. Everything we had, had wonderful flavors and it all paired so well. From the tender bone in ribeye with bacon cowboy butter to the saucy lobster Mac and cheese to the creamy lobster bisque with lobster bits. Everything was top tier. They gave us a free dessert for our anniversary and muffins to go! They didn't let us pack anything, they packed it and gave you a signature Frankie's tote. This place gives you that same feeling as if your parents read you a bedtime story, tucked you in, gave you a kiss on your forehead and sent you to a sweet sleep! LOL! I miss you already frankyyyyy!

Super appreciative of such technology. Parking was plentiful when we got there and we were able to park right next to the patio and front door. The immediate parking lot is kind of small and shared with some other establishments, but there is plenty of other parking in connecting lots around the establishment. So no worries if you don't get as lucky as we do. The hostess was very pleasant and offered either indoor or outdoor seating. It was a rainy day so we opted for inside to be on the safe side (the patio is covered though, so no worries if that's your preference). Our server Nicholas was super polite and helpful. He explained the menu and abbreviations to my party with suffient detail. The food was cooked to perfection and served at the perfect temperature. Unfortunately though they had upcoming reservations so we weren't able to sit in the main room. We sat in their second dining room which was off to the side but still decorated. We arrived 15 minutes before our reservation, but were told our table was already ready, so we were seated. (The restaurant tables are very close together, so be aware that if anyone in your party is wheelchair bound, it may be difficult for them to maneuver around.) The restaurant is kept very warm inside, and I'm usually someone who feels cold easily, but even I was rather hot. A woman brought water glasses and a water carafe to our table and said, "If you want something besides water, just let me know," and then walked off. So, in my mind, that woman was a food assistant or a food runner. Turned out, she was our waitress! She later stopped by, didn't introduce herself and didn't ask if we'd ever been there before, but did ask if we wanted an appetizer. We ordered Potato Pancakes. She also asked if we wanted bread service, so we said yes. We did notice from other conversations at the very close tables near ours, that many of the customers are regulars and have their favorite waitstaff. The manager had stopped by a table to regrettably inform a couple that their favorite waiter was out for 2 weeks. So, that did give us hope that if they have regulars, it must be good. The Potato Pancakes were delicious! (I didn't even stop to snap a picture because we were very hungry!) My husband ordered the "Bier" + Cheese Burger ($16.95), and I ordered the Pork Shank "Schwweinehaxe" ($34). The waitress said she had to check the availability of the Pork Shank, so I told her that if it wasn't available, to put in Chicken Wienerschnitzel. Then she didn't come back to let us know what the kitchen said. My husband flagged her down to find out if the pork shank was available, and she said she'd forgotten to come back, but that it was. He also told her that it was my birthday, so she brought out a cute birthday tea light for the table. The food was absolutely delicious, and for the price point, you can easily see why people are regulars there! The pork shank was enormous! (We ate off of it 2 more times after we took it home. The restaurant gave us extra gravy at no charge, too.) The rosemary mashed potatoes were very good! The presentation was lovely! My husband really enjoyed his burger. Then for dessert, our waitress brought out a slice of tiramisu with a wedge of chocolate cake over it, berries, whipped cream, and a little birthday candle in it. Turned out really wonderful! Will definitely go back to this unique spot!

The menu has lots of different German specialties. We shared the pretzel as a starter and it was very delicious, especially with the beer cheese. As a main, we shared the Bavarian feast, which was more than enough food for two people - I would say it can feed three no problem. I really liked the pork chop, bratwursts, and red cabbage. I also got a side of spatzle because I really enjoy it and it did not disappoint. To end the evening, we got the bananas foster, which came with a table side show to make the dish right in front of you. It was a very nice finish to an incredible meal. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a nicer dinner and to try German cuisine, which is not very common in the Atlanta area.

First-time visit to Noona Steak and Seafood in Duluth -- and wow, the food was impressive…read more We had an early 5:15 p.m. reservation through Resy and received clear confirmation and reminder communications from the restaurant. Parking was a challenge due to Valentine's Day and the sheer number of people dining out. That said, parking is often tight in Duluth because of the many restaurants, so it's wise to allow extra time. My wife and I were promptly greeted and seated upon arrival, and our server quickly came over to take our drink orders. I have to mention our server, Maddie, who was one of the most pleasant and personable people we've encountered in a long time while dining out. She was a textbook example of what makes for a great dining experience. At that point, I learned the restaurant was offering a prix fixe Valentine's Day menu, which hadn't been communicated beforehand. While not unusual for the holiday, it did catch me by surprise. Maddie handled the situation professionally when I asked to speak with a manager, and Leon came over quickly. After I explained, they were able to accommodate us by offering the items à la carte, which worked out well since we chose to skip one course and dessert. As for the food -- it was outstanding. My wife had the beet salad and said it was the best she's ever had. I ordered the wedge salad, which was very good. She chose the shrimp appetizer, while I had the stuffed mushrooms; both were excellent. We each ordered the 6-oz filet, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The mashed potatoes and green beans complemented the steak nicely, and I especially enjoyed the house-made steak sauce, which paired very well with the filet. I also had the opportunity to speak with executive chef and owner George Yu, who was engaging and shared that they cook exclusively over open flames using well seasoned cherry and oak wood from a single supplier. I was even able to thank the chef who prepared our steaks in the wood-fired kitchen. Overall, it was a fantastic Valentine's Day dinner at Noona Steak and Seafood in Duluth, GA.

Service was good, probably because my husband told them I was an elite yelper but also was early on a Saturday night and had only a few tables. They made my custom drink order well. Listened to instructions. Started with a dozen oysters, recommended by the waitress, they were ok. They small and not really flavorful. They had the typical cocktail sauce and horseradish but needed hot sauce. Served also with goldfish crackers, I get the pun but a little tacky for a fine dining establishment. We also had the shrimp with the gochijong sauce. The shrimp were nice size but again lack luster. Where's the seasoning? The gochijong sauce was sparse and was watery. Also the shrimp needed salt. We ordered the surf and turf which was good size. The steak was a little under, ordered it med rare. It was also very thin. The steak was seasoned with corse sea salt at the end. Well that produced some very salty pieces and some under seasoned pieces. Salting before cooking would have helped that and garnish with the course salt. The lobster was small but tasty. Slightly under cooked. The Kim chee fried rice was good but not enough although there were some over ripe Kim chee pieces. The star of the meal was the cheese corn. Delish! Sweet, savory and creamy. Cooked perfectly with enough crunch of the corn to offset the creaminess. It was an anniversary and was offered 3 cake choices and ordered the cheesecake. Non of the cakes are made in house, we asked. The cheesecake was creamy but had a huge crust so the ratio of the cheese mixture to the crust was off balance. BTW a very small slice. All in all I would say we won't be back. Too many other good restaurants nearby.

I was really looking forward to trying the oysters, but I didn't realize their menu changes often so unfortunately, no oysters this time. A little sad about that! We decided to order pretty much everything off the à la carte menu. Overall, the food was just okay to me. The Brussels sprouts were the hardest to eat they were basically raw, just thinly sliced with sauce poured over. It would've been much better if they were at least steamed or grilled a bit. The mushrooms, though, were absolutely BOMB! If I didn't know what it was, I would've thought it was some sort of meat dish super soft, flavorful, and delicious. Definitely the highlight of the meal. The Wagyu, on the other hand, was a big disappointment. For the price, it was tough and chewy when it should've been buttery and melt-in-your-mouth tender. I placed an order for everything on the carte menu. Food was fun and a few of the dishes caught me off guard, in a good way. Pros. We loveeed the maitake mushrooms. This dish was one dish my friend and I had low expectations for. Ironically it's the only dish we would go back for! The bucatini I also had low expectations for. I hardly order pasta, from non pasta specialty places, because the pasta is 99% of the time going to be overcooked. BUT this bucatini was cooked perfectly al dente. The sauce was rich but not too heavy and just enough to cover the noodles without drowning. The crab taste was pretty faint. If it weren't listed on the menu I wouldn't even think it were in the dish. Cons. The brussel sprout salad was honestly almost inedible. It is a raw shaved brussel sprout salad, dressed as a Caesar salad. Although not bad tasting, the core of the sprouts was not tender but dry and hard. There was also a lot of it. Most disappointing was the "waygu ribeye". The quality was pretty horrible. The piece we got had silver skin as well as chunks of fat. I wish I got a picture of the leftover fat from the steak but if you look at my picture you can clearly see slices of just fat. I love a little fat on a well cooked ribeye and do not mind paying for it. But paying $50 for a probably 8oz "waygu" ribeye with only half of it palatable is wild. Regardless, I'm actually going back in a couple of days with my husband because of those amazing mushrooms.. though as I am writing this review I'm debating on canceling my reservation, ordering the mushrooms to go, and just going elsewhere. lol
