My fiancé and I recently visited this restaurant for the first time, and unfortunately, our experience did not meet our expectations, especially compared to other Brazilian steakhouses we have visited. Upon arrival on a Saturday evening, the restaurant was noticeably quiet, which initially raised some concerns but did not deter us from giving it a try. After being seated, we were directed to the salad and sides bar. Several items appeared as though they had been sitting out for an extended period. The hot items were lukewarm to cold, and many of the cold items looked picked over and were not replenished during our visit. Service was also slower than expected. After returning to our table, we waited approximately 15 minutes before our server returned to take our drink order. When she did, I ordered a sweet tea and water. After some confusion regarding the order, we were informed that the only water option available was a 1-liter bottled water for $7. While we agreed to it, the price felt excessive, especially considering the retail cost of the same product. The sweet tea was particularly disappointing. It appeared as though it had been sitting in a pitcher of melting ice for hours. The tea was so diluted that it was nearly transparent, and I could literally see through it. It lacked both the color and flavor you would typically expect from freshly prepared sweet tea. The dining experience itself was inconsistent. Some meats were served hot while others arrived noticeably cooler. Several cuts appeared to have been sitting for an extended period before being served, and many lacked seasoning. The chimichurri sauce provided the majority of the flavor. Additionally, there were lengthy gaps--often 15 to 20 minutes--between visits from the gauchos, and the same cuts of meat were brought repeatedly. One of the more surprising aspects of our visit was learning that several advertised meat selections were unavailable. After being asked which meat we would like to try next--a question we have never been asked at other Brazilian steakhouses--we were informed that, despite advertising 14 meats, only four red meat options and lamb chops were available that evening. This was disappointing given the expectation of variety that comes with this style of dining. The lamb chops had a strong gamey flavor, and the shrimp offering was relatively basic, consisting of cooked shrimp with seasoning sprinkled on top. To conclude the evening, we were surprised to find that our final bill exceeded what we typically pay at other Brazilian steakhouses that offer a larger selection, fresher food, and more attentive service. Paying a premium price would be understandable if the quality, service, and variety justified it, but that was not our experience. This review reflects only our personal experience during our visit. Unfortunately, based on the condition of the food bar, the quality and consistency of the meats, the slow service, the limited selection, and the overall value for the price, we would not choose to return. Based on our visit, I am genuinely surprised by the restaurant's 4.5-star rating. Everyone's experience may differ, but the food quality, service, overall ambiance, and value we encountered did not reflect what I would expect from a restaurant with such highly rated reviews. It was on February 14, 2026. It was my 45th wedding anniversary. We were 10 minutes early for a 5:30 reservation. The food bar was almost empty. What time did they open? We thought we were early. The food bar had no salmon, and whatever else they were serving was gone. I really wanted salmon, but the only thing left was a huge pan with bits of salmon in a sauce. It was all gone. I asked a server if they were going to refresh the food bar. He went into the kitchen to check it, but he never walked back to the food bar to reply. Someone brought out more rice. No bread, no mashed potatoes, no soup; the containers were empty. How could they already be out of food? They were open for at least 3 more hours. We spent $200, and we left in search of food. When they bring it to you, there is no cap on the bottle. You don't even know if they filled the bottle with tap water. If this is real mineral water, they need to keep the cap on and show it to the customers. - One of my friends did not want to order this fancy water. I don't blame him. He asked for tap water at least 4 or 5 times. Finally, a lady brought him tap water. If she could do this for him, she could do this for me. It creates unfairness. - Service was slow. Even though it wasn't a busy time, it took more than 30 minutes after we sat down for even one type of meat to come out. - Side dish options and the quality of meat were okay. If you are looking for an authentic and reasonable place, go to Rio's Steakhouse in Marietta or a fancy place like Fogo De Chão. They have better food and better desserts. - Overpriced for the quality of food and service. - The waitress couldn't issue a proper bill to each individual. When one of my friends was leaving early, it was not the busiest time. She only had a cocktail, but there were charges for a drink and the Brazilian Steak buffet. The waitress should have checked the bill before giving it to her customer. My friend had to ask for her bill at least twice. It was around 6:30 or 6:45. The whole restaurant wasn't even full! Again, this is a buffet-style restaurant. - The waitress was telling us her problems, like why she couldn't get the bill to my friend immediately. She told us they were shorthanded because someone called in absent. That is not our problem, and we don't need to know. I consider this very unprofessional. We didn't even ask her what was going on. All she needed to do was apologize first and bring the correct bill the first time. Restaurant business owners and employees need to understand that customers are entitled to ask questions, request something, and complain when things are bad. But we are not paying you to listen to your problems. - I received a bill for $62.48 (all-you-can-eat steak dinner + fancy water and an automatically added 18% gratuity). I was unhappy because, with this price, I could go to Rio's Steakhouse or Fogo De Chão. We had 6 people, so I understand that gratuity was added automatically. We were hoping to find a nice place in Gwinnett since the one at Mall of Ga closed. We have been to a lot of different Brazilian steakhouses and I think this may be the worst I've been to. The lamb was overcooked and unflavored, the salad bar was lacking in options (both literally because there was not a lot to choose from and because they let everything basically get empty so there was nothing to choose from. They are short staffed, which means refills or new drink orders don't exist. They serve the sodas in cans or bottles and we had to ask for a glass to pour it in. The ambiance was not what we expected. It's simple and could be nice, but the walls are chipped and dirty, the lighting seems off. It's not romantic or provide an essence you'd expect. It seems clean enough. There was one waiter that was completely rude and made it clear he didn't want to be there. They don't serve a new plate with the meat or take away the salad plates to create space, so he literally served the new meat on top of the fat I had trimmed from the other meats I tried. We asked for water and were told it could only be served in a liter bottle. We then were asked if we wanted a glass with it....like I wanted to chug out of the bottle. The cuts of meat were not high quality. Most of them were overcooked, dry and chewy. The mashed potatoes tasted like the instant powder potatoes, but without enough salt or butter and too much water. They serve bananas and not plantains, but the bananas were soft and overripe. Definitely would not recommend and will not be back again. It was definitely overpriced for the quality. I don't mind paying high prices for high quality, but not for subpar quality or service. We were excitedly celebratig three birthdays, so this was a big outing! We were so disappointed. The only way you get get water, is to buy it. We should have left then. The meats came out so slowly and the same meats over and over again. We never got to try the chicken, or the lamb. We had a party of 20 and had 1 waitress for our entire table as well as for the entire restaurant on a Friday night. Not a single employee was there to assist her. Nothing against her but that level of service was unacceptable. It took almost an entire hour for checks to be divided and paid. Now let's talk about the food. This was arguably worse. We had entire plates (With pictures) of raw steak, completely inedible. I've never seen a steakhouse have such poor food quality and service. I had a friend that I went on a date with and she recommended this restaurant. I did not know what to expect but was off the chart. Family owned business that they really cater to the clientele. My friend she has been several times and was recognized by the owners. I told the server how much I appreciate his knowledge of food and the quality that was given that night. Sometimes you can't say enough about a place this is one of them. I just felt spoiled is the best way to put it. I'm not tried their other restaurants but if they are anything like this one you need to try it. I definitely will be back. But having celebrated Christmas Eve with our family, the two of us were looking for something memorable and delicious for a Christmas dinner. The family that runs this restaurant was very cordial and welcoming. The food was delicious! The meat could have been served a little more frequently, but it was fine. And if you want medium rare temperature, you need to be sure to get a slice from the middle, and not the end. We started coming here when they first opened a few years back and it used to be $25. It was worth it back then. Not sure why they thought it was appropriate to double the price. The buffet is just ok. As for the meats, there are 12 options on the card that's on the table. We were only given 6 out of the 12, albeit they came around several times with the same 6 meats. If that's the case only show that's all you have. Also if you order water, you automatically get a $6 bottle of aqua panna. Not a choice of just tap water with ice. You should get a choice. Same with soda. You get bottled soda so you can't get free refills. If you want to charge close to fogo de chao prices, then you have to be at that level. Otherwise accept what you are and price accordingly. Decent place but hopefully constructive criticism will help them be better to their consumers. read more

This is an amazing restaurant. The food is so good, and there is so much that you cannot leave here hungry. From the market table with fish, salads, soup, charcuterie barely scratches the surface. We came for dinner on a very slow night. We did the $50 option with the meats. I thought service would be slimmed down because of this, but they still served the full menu of meats, and has lots of options at the hot bar and salad bar. The garlic picanha and lamb chops were my favorites. Some of the meats were a bit on the salty side, but overall flavor and quality were great. The side options were good overall. Lots of variety on the bar, and the mashed potatoes were great. I feel like the cheese bread could've been better. I've always liked a bit more texture in the bread, but it was still good and had a bouncy and airy inside. The service was superb. The staff were extremely nice and took great care of us. I been wanting to try this place out for the longest time. I know it's a miniature Fogo but located north of Atlanta close to Cumming/Suwanee area. I came here on a Saturday afternoon and there was only 2 other tables. The waiter was super friendly and attentive. The salad bar is a bit small but it had some very tasty foods. The squash and white rice was superb. I think I had like 2-3 servings. I loved their white rice, the flavor was right on. I also tried their mashed potatoe and it was very good. Saturday's price is $25.99 as I believe it's dinner all day. The variety meats is very small so I ended up getting a little of everything. I had the garlic Seasoned Tenderloin, bacon wrapped chicken, bacon wrapped sirloin, parmesan pork loin, chicken wings, lamb, sausage, ribs, and the famous Picanha / Special Cut of Top Sirloin. It was all super tasty. The waiter was very attentive and was on top of the water refills. Everything tasted good but meats came out slow and in tiny pieces. I highly do not recommend this place if your the area wanting some Brazilian Steakhouse. Just don't compare the place to Fogo bc it's a Baby version. At $25.99 person for lunch for the amount of food, well it's way overcharged. There is other small Brazilian steakhouse places farther down Ga400 with more food and lower prices. It's a great Brazilian steakhouse if you live local. The price also can't be beat. I can here once for dinner and the again for lunch. The dinner service was much better as during lunch they didn't have enough servers. We kept getting the same meat coming to our table with large periods of hunger spells in between. During my dinner visit things were much better. We frequently were served all sorts of cuts. We arrived early (6pm), but I would recommend coming in around 7pm if you want the best stuff. Being early meant we got full by the time cuts like the top sirloin came out which needs longer time to cook. They were also out of the lamb so I didn't get to try that. We highly recommend this restaurant! We actually visited there about a month ago but due to some personal matters, I am just getting around to writing this review. Full disclosure: First of all, we were graciously given 2 complementary passes by the owners to attend their grand re-opening celebration. But having said that? It has no influence on my review, nor was there ANY pressure to try and influence us. They have created a very warm and welcoming atmosphere here. We had passed by this restaurant in the past and had always wanted to try it but my husband had a liver transplant 5/12/2020, so we were unable to eat out for a period of time due to his compromised immune system. It was very evident upon entering this restaurant that the owners had taken a lot of time and effort to make this a very warm and inviting space. To us? This was the perfect sized restaurant. Large enough to accommodate a crowd, yet it felt very cozy and intimate at the same time. They spent great attention to every detail and it shows. The staff / service was impeccable - the tables are VERY WELL spaced out so it makes it easy to feel comfortable and intimate. I would highly recommend this for a special occasion, special date night. It would be very impressive for even a first date. If you wanted to make a great impression? This is the place to go! My husband and I grew up outside NYC and have dined at many well known restaurants there. And I can truthfully tell you? This place surpassed them all. Yet it just shows the attention to detail you can expect to make this a great dining experience. There is every kind of steak you can imagine, as well as lamb, pork, chicken, etc. I'm told they do have fish as well for vegetarians. And if it tastes as good as the meats? It will be a home run for those of you who are in-fact vegetarian. We did speak with the owners before leaving as we wanted to thank them for graciously giving us the passes and to let them know how enjoyable it was. I was curious why this was a grand opening as I had passed by there many times in the past. The wife explained that it was all family run until recently when the matriarch of their family decided she wanted to retire. They had since gained a partner and they had made some changes/ improvements so that was the reason for it. I cannot tell you what a pleasure it was to speak with the couple who owns this restaurant. They are both a warm and engaging couple. It is apparent they strive to please and make this a truly wonderful dining experience for their clientele. You can tell they are working hard to make sure each and every couple or visitor has the best dining experience! I strongly recommend you give them a try - you will not be disappointed! As I said? The food was decent, the grill is MUCH better than the buffet but we were only given about five choices of meats. When having children along this place has a better price point than other churrascas. My kids ate very small amounts of meat so it was nice not feeling like money was wasted. We made reservations and it made no difference despite it being Saturday at 630. It was empty when we got there, slowly more guests arrived. Seems to be a family business since there wasn't much staff. I felt the place to be a bit far/ isolated and when we arrived, the main people were the large group that was my friend's party and another table. Other than that, the place would have been pretty empty. The service was super sweet and nice but somewhat slow. Our group was relatively big, so I tried to be understanding but they would always start by serving at one end of the table only so by the time it got to our end, there was no more meat. They would also only have one gentleman at the time slicing the cuts. Case is, we got full more from the bar than the meat itself ( which was the main reason of why we were there ). I will say this though, the food in their hot bar was very very delicious. I am not a connoisseur of Brazilian Cuisine but I want to think many of the things they offered were pretty authentic. They also had a salad and cheese section which was nice even though it was somewhat small. Their hot bar was probably my favorite part of the whole meal. At the risk of giving away my secret place, I need to make sure people know how great it is so it stays open. My son went here with a group from his college. He loved it so much, he wanted us as a family to all go when my daughter was in town. He told me you have to make a reservation because they make food based on how many they are expect to serve. Just to give it a shot, I checked their website and it said they had availability on Christmas day. We all agreed that it would save me a lot of time cooking and I made the reservation. We walked in and the salad bar was completely stocked with far more than I expected. It was not just salad, but they had other entrée like foods and several other choices. The service was amazing, the proteins they brought out were all done wonderfully and delicious, and there were more proteins brought out than I could've imagined. Yes, it is definitely more expensive than a traditional meal, but this is cooked to serve fresh meats, and an array of other items to choose.
