Another amazing dining experience! Came here for a business dinner with colleagues. The ambience was great. My only qualm is that there is an inclosed section off of the dining room that allows cigar smoking. I'm not a fan of cigars but it wasn't a deal breaker. We ordered the shrimp cocktail, oysters, and fried lobster tails as appetizers. I ordered the daily special which was the 14 oz Wagyu and it was cooked to perfection! A bunch of shareable sides like the creamed corn, broccolini, Brussels, and other items. Ended with a few desserts including the chocolate ganache cake. Service was top tier! I will absolutely come back next time I'm in Alpharetta

What an experience! I called ahead to remind the service staff that we were celebrating an anniversary and they did not disappoint. The ambiance was incredible. Pretty lighting, beautiful and clean bathrooms, and they even had a cigar bar! We decided to split the rock crusted ribeye and it did not disappoint! My family recommended this spot to me and we are very glad we made a stop here we will definitely be coming back.

Visited during a restaurant week and were very impressed. Great service, and the menu of calamari, filet and choc cake was perfect. My mid-rare filet was a touch overcooked but that's being a bit picky. We will definitely return soon.

Hubby surprised me with a surprise date for our anniversary! So I had no idea where we were going. I've never heard of this place or knew what to even expect. Parking: free valet parking First impression: I was not very impressed to say the least lol. As soon as you walk in, there is another door to a cigar smoking room. It's very faint (to some, not me) but you can smell it. And I know most people who come here would know that but I had no idea. It reminds me of being in a casino restaurant lol. But otherwise, the place has old school vibes and upscale ambiance. Food: Fresh Oysters 10/10. They're huge! Cabernet sampler: included 2 fried lobster tails, shrimp cocktail, & crab cake. Delicious! 22oz bone in ribeye medium rare. It was cooked to PERFECTION. I love that didn't try to get fancy and salt the heck out of it. I hate when my steak taste salty. Creamed corn: 6/10. Brussels sprouts: 5/10. Good flavor but we wished it was crispy. Overall: I'd probably come back. But asked to be seated somewhere on the other end away from the smoking room.

This place is very nice and very fancy. There is valet parking or you have to pay for parking if you don't do valet. Overall the food is pretty good. The filet was great but the ribeye was tough and dry. I wasn't a big fan of that. The twice baked potato was AMAZING. It was so good. The creamed spinach wasn't that great. I would personally skip that side. The crème brûlée and peanut butter chocolate cake was great! I would also like to shoutout Lemonte (not sure about spelling) but he was honestly the nicest waiter I have ever had. He was great and he represented this restaurant well. It was fantastic service.

I recently came here for lunch and it's been a while since I ha visited but was the perfect meeting spot for my friend's bday this past week. The decor and feel are upscale and classy. Lots of great choices for healthy eating off the lunch menu. Located Just off 400 exit 11.They also have a wonderful dinner menu. Our server was quite polite and accommodating and made great choices for us. We definitely will return.

    Filet medium rare was perfect!

Excellent dinner at Cabernet this week! This was my first time dining at this restaurant in a few years, and it's still as good as I remember. Sitting inside you feel like you're in a great steakhouse and the meal lives up to it. Our party of 4 each ordered steak. I went with a 12 oz filet, medium rare, with brandy peppercorn sauce. Outstanding! The steak was cooked perfectly. Sides of creamed spinach, twice baked potatoes, and mashed potatoes, made for a memorable meal. We had to of course, order a nice bottle of Cabernet, and Brandlin from Napa Valley was perfect. If you're in Alpharetta and looking for a great dinner, I highly recommend Cabernet!

We got the Prix Fix menu and it was good. It would have been better if the steak had a little crust on it. The wine pairing was perfect. Our server was extremely knowledgeable on the wines.

Drew was our waiter and he truly made us feel like we were his only table. He had water and iced tea refills as soon as and even before our glasses were empty. Here's what we got: - Yeast Rolls ($8): Excellent, especially with the butter. Still dreaming of these. - Lump Crab Cake ($29): Pretty good. Note that the salsas had a kick to them. - Blue Fin Tuna Crudo ($28): Nothing to write home about. The chili was spicy. - French Onion Soup ($15): Just as good as we remembered it from last time. - Tasting for Two ($209): The filet and spinalis were delicious. The first time we went to Bask, the wagyu was exceptional. This time, it was the fattier part of the cut and sadly didn't live up to the hype. Disappointed. - Scallops ($50): Absolutely delicious. The arroz verde cremosa was soo good. Decent portion too. - Seafood Mac & Cheese ($20): Came with lobster and shrimp. Suuuuper good, cheesy, and creamy. - Broiled Asparagus ($15): Seriously amazing. The best asparagus I've ever had. We were celebrating an anniversary and they let us choose a dessert on the house. We got the Cinnamon Roll Bread Pudding (normally $14). Sadly, it was just meh. We got the Colossal Cosmonaut Cookie last time, which was out of this world. Definitely get the cookie and skip the bread pudding.

We were surprised with a birthday card signed by staff and fresh flowers, which was such a thoughtful touch. It was our first time dining at Oak, and our server, Zuri, was fantastic. He took the time to explain the different cuts of steak and recommend some of the most popular sides, which we really appreciated. We started with the bread service. I loved the touch of salt on top of the roll--it was actually my favorite part. For our appetizer, we ordered the calamari, which came with artichokes, cherry peppers, garlic butter, and sweet chili sauce. As someone who loves artichokes, I especially enjoyed those bites, and the overall flavor was good. That said, the sweet chili became a bit overwhelming toward the end of the dish. One additional detail I loved about the calamari was the cheesecloth wrapped around the lemon. It was such a thoughtful touch, and it's the kind of small detail that really elevates the dining experience. For our entrée, we shared the 12 oz. Filet Mignon cooked medium, along with the mac and cheese and the Brussels sprouts and cauliflower (without the red onion, cilantro, or sweet chili). The chef kindly sliced the steak for us, but it arrived a little too rare for my preference. The staff quickly corrected it, and to make up for it, they also brought us a side of cream corn, which was absolutely delicious. Overall, everything tasted great. For dessert, we were treated to a complimentary panna cotta, which was a lovely surprise. We also ordered the S'mores Baked Alaska--a brownie topped with graham cracker and ice cream, covered in meringue, then set ablaze with bourbon. The presentation was amazing and definitely a highlight of the evening. The flavor was good, although it was a bit difficult to cut into, which made it slightly less enjoyable for me. My boyfriend, however, loved it. The ambiance was wonderful. The booth seating felt intimate and comfortable, and I enjoyed the open-kitchen concept. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience. The staff was incredibly kind, the food was delicious, and the thoughtful birthday touches made the evening memorable. I will definitely be back!

First, we got the feeling the server was over eager to sell us a bottle of wine. My partner doesn't drink, so he opted for water and I opted for a half bottle. It was a bit pushy, but we payed it no mind. Once brought out and poured, I moved the bottle further as to not accidentally knock it over and I guess by habit closed the bottle, then proceeded to the salad bar. The server came to find me in line to ask why I've moved the bottle, then proceeded to tell me that the wine needs to breathe so he'll re-open the bottle. Personally didn't need a lecture on how wine needs to breathe, I'm well aware, nor do I find it appropriate to chase me down in line over it, but okay I let it go as well and thanked him for his help. Everything else was great, until the check came. I guess there was an issue with the card we used and different server very discretely brought it to our attention. Of course we're embarrassed, but grateful for the discreetness. Mind you, we've been here many times and have never had any issues before, just inadvertently gave an old card. I grabbed my purse to provide a different card and the initial server decided to comment loudly to my partner something about where'd you get lucky enough to find her as if to say women don't pay. I was shocked and mortified! At that point I simply replied that it all comes out of the same accounts anyway, just a different name on the card. The comment was well beyond inappropriate, brought attention unnecessarily, and was absolutely unwarranted. At least we've been together for more than a decade, I can't even imagine if this was someone's first date! We didn't need to offer an explanation, but at that point we just wanted to be done and get out as quickly as possible. We'll likely dine here again, but definitely hope we never come across this particular server again.

As a self-described foodie, I'm always searching for restaurants that offer creative, thoughtfully prepared dishes with plenty of variety. Foundation exceeded every expectation. I ordered every dish the staff recommended, and each one was outstanding. Julio provided attentive, knowledgeable service, and you can tell Chef Mel and his wife, Sandy, have poured their hearts into every aspect of the dining experience. Their attention to detail is remarkable--they genuinely care that every bite is exactly as it should be, and it shows. We started with the Crisp Spanish Octopus and the mushroom ravioli. Julio also suggested adding an order of bread to soak up the incredible sauces, and I'm so glad he did--not a drop was left on the plate. For my entrée, I chose the scallops, and they were cooked perfectly. I even skipped most of the accompanying beans to save room for dessert, which turned out to be one of the best decisions of the night. The blueberry olive cake with blueberry sorbet was phenomenal and the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and refreshingly free of distractions, allowing the food and conversation to take center stage. If you're looking for a memorable dining experience with incredible food, outstanding hospitality, and an environment where every detail matters, Foundation Eatery is a must-visit. Lots of options for those who love the fishery part of the concept and just as many choices for those that don't. We ordered the bruschetta and enjoyed their take that used fig jam, prosciutto and balsamic glaze instead of the more traditional tomato base. They have house made focaccia that when brought to the table we instantly regretted having ordered the bruschetta, thinking we overdid the bread thing. But we both quickly changed our minds and consumed both with little guilt... I would go back just for the focaccia alone and wish they sold it by the loaf! Pastas are made onsite but they get the gluten free version from a different supplier to avoid risk of cross contamination. Hubby had the wild boar pasta. I had the pork chop. My chop was perfectly grilled and moist. I asked for the marsala sauce on the side since I don't like mushrooms themselves, but enjoy the flavor they can add. The weakest link was the mashed potatoes, served in two round scoops reminiscent of school cafeteria lines. Other than the shape, there was nothing memorable nor particularly flavorful about them. Next time I would try a different side and keep the chop. We didn't save room for dessert this time but will definitely get some next time. And there will definitely be a next time. The vibe here was buzzing on a Friday evening which seemed promising. We opted to sit at the bar which I do NOT recommend if you plan on eating. It is extremely tight seating and the bartenders aren't not trained to serve food or have menu knowledge. The lack of the kitchen staff culinary skills became evident when looking at the menu with many seafood/pasta items being served with one sauce- a goopy cornstarch'ish lemon butter sauce. We wanted to try the scampi appetizer with their house made pasta - sans dairy which meant no lemon butter sauce. That seemed to throw a wrench and there was much back and forth between the BT to the kitchen explaining what that meant aka do not cook the food with butter use olive oil- not so complicated, right? 30 minutes later - despite the kitchen staff not being busy- reminder, we are sitting at the bar and watch the cooks looking at their cellphones instead of working... The small portion of a couple shrimp and scallops arrive. They were panned seared- highly seasoned but tasty. Pasta arrived dry ? Huh? Who serves dry pasta- ugh? I asked for olive oil again which never appeared despite a manager hearing the request. So, moving along, we decided to try the calamari. It came out much faster but the portion was enough for 8-10 people. BT- oh, I forgot to tell you it is such a large portion... Maybe offer a half portion? It was okay- nothing amazing except the quantity. So disappointed- we had high hopes that the vibe matched the food quality.
