    Tomato basil

First time here! We came for valentines. I didn't see too much I liked on the menu, however, what we got was very delicious. I'm very particular about my tomato basil soup & honestly only like La Madeline's, but this soup is now my 2nd favorite!!! So good! The Crawfish & Spinach Gratin was an appetizer that I ate for my entree and it was really filling. I wish they put a thicker layer of dip to eat because there's too many chips/bread pieces and the ratios off. My husband said the burger was 10/10 (he's really picky) but he wishes it came with more fries! Service, ambience, and music was great. Overall I give it an 8/10

Came here for lunch on a workday. The atmosphere was nice and welcoming and the service was very fast. I was impressed how quickly all of our food came out. For an appetizer, we had the blue cheese chips, which are awesome! I highly recommend them. For my meal, I had the melty club. Overall it was tasty, but it did have way too much butter melted on the outside (like a super buttery grilled cheese). Other than that, it was a good sandwich. I have liked most dishes I've tried from here and wouldn't mind coming back and trying more

PLEASE JUST TRUST ME, THE CARROT SOUFFLÉ IS A MUST ORDER. PLUS THE PLAIN VODKA FREEZE, sugar free version is just as good too. PRO TIP: order fries to dip in the carrot soufflé. Only 3 stars out of 5 because unfortunately, my chicken Caesar wrap literally has no Caesar dressing in it (not great. I attached photos to show). It's just chicken and dry lettuce. This is extremely disappointing considering I was expecting a chicken Caesar wrap. We did get the food to go, but there is no cup of Caesar dressing on the side either. I'm hoping I get refunded and offered a real chicken Caesar wrap, so that I can give it an honest review. Bartender was very nice so we tipped her! Would go back if I can get what I actually ordered. Boyfriend said the burger was okay. I think food quality is even better when sitting down inside! The "brasserie" location on government is even better than just typical bistro byronz on Perkins and has many more menu options.

Bistro Byronz is a Baton Rouge staple for good food and good service. This is a restaurant that is always on my go-to list, but somehow I forget to write a review! My husband and I been going to Bistro Byronz since forever and we're glad to have a Mid City location back! We rushed to our reservation for brunch yesterday cause the food is just that good! Using the Open Table, we had a short window to make it and it was well worth running out the door with one shoe on! We were greeted by nice hostess and seated on the patio per our request. Each patio table has a personal fan, which is great for this Louisiana heat! Our waiter was sooo attentive! Of course, we started with bottomless mimosas and a mocktail called Cooler Than a Cucumber (highly recommend if are taking a break from alcohol). The mocktail was super refreshing and tasty! For entrees, we both ordered the Monte Cristo with a side of fruit! This breakfast sandwich is just beyond delicious! The bread is like crispy French toast with a powdered sugar for sweetness! DELICIOUS! DELICIOUS! This may become a monthly brunch spot for us. The restaurant staff are so welcoming, family friendly atmosphere, and good food are definitely a win in my book!

The redfish was excellent but dessert was amazing! Like the dimmer lighting but did miss some of the "comfort food" items no longer on menu.

It was my first time at the establishment so I have nothing to compare it to. We were both very impressed with the fish option for dinner. Everything else was just ok. Service and ambiance was good.

Bistro Byronz is a great option when looking for a yummy wrap or sandwich. I always get a different wrap every time I go, you can also turn any sandwiches into a wrap which I love. I usually get the sweet potato fries as the side and they are nice and thin. There ranch is also delicious, it has a garlic flavor which makes it stand out from other ranches. I also enjoy the strawberry froze and they have a great deal on it during happy hour! The downside to my most recent visit was that my plate that had the wrap and fries on was ice cold which was good for my wrap but made my fries cold. I would of rather a regular plate or my fries on the side when using a cold plate to serve the wrap. The spinach dip is also really good and creamy, I just wish the portion was bigger for the price.

Food is kind of mid but they have really good prices for the bottomless mimosas! I got the Bistro Bomber and it was a bit plain. Their outside seating is a very nice place for a girls brunch! The staff is also very kind!

Pot Roast Creole Plate! Great Garlic Mashed Potatoes and the gravy is really delicious!

Bistro Byronz has moved into their new facility in the Square 46 building, and this location is very nice! The interior is decorated very much like their original location, but it is bigger and roomier. The interior courtyard at Square 46 offers them a great outdoor dining area, which has some areas protected from the elements, while another area is open to the sky. What hasn't changed is the upscale homestyle menu they are known for, and the great service. These are just like they have always been! My only word of warning to the customer has to do with the generally inadequate parking at Square 46. If you do not find a parking place on site behind the building, make sure you park in a legal place offsite which is not signed as for the customers of another business only, and do not park in the yards of private residences on side streets. Be a responsible motorist and don't cause problems!

My first time visiting Bistro Byronz was for a late lunch this afternoon and I was not disappointed. The parking was easy to find and bistro Byronz had a cute little walk way and outside seating area. If it wasn't so chilly today we would have requested outside seating. The inside is decorated very modern and clean. They placed mirrors on each post, which gave the place a sleek feel. Our server was attentive and our food was great! We each got a salad. The bistro salad with strawberries was delicious! The sweet vinaigrette pairs perfect with it. I added chicken on top of my salad. We also split an order of the fries which were great! They were skinny fries and had an awesome parmesan garlic flavor. I will definitely be visiting Bistro Byronz again!

    Hawn T.

The Bistro Byronz burger was excellent but y'all should take the chicken and dumpling off the menu or re-do it from scratch. It was more of a "pasta soup" than chicken and dumpling.

Ooffff... it's fine. We're laid back and can roll with the punches-they're busy and staff was friendly-it'll all be worth it when the food rocks our socks. Sadly...no. Both grilled cheeses (entrees) were room temp and the cheese was already hardening. It felt as if they had forgotten to deliver the food. Waitress was so kind and took the one off our check. It was appreciated. Boudin balls were great!! Bedford and remoulade sauces were okay. Parmesan potatoes were good!! Brussel sprouts and fries were fine-would have been better if served hot, I think. We did the pie flight and they were all good. Not mind blowing, but good. I always give out second chances-public service and food service is tough and sometimes you just have off days. Worth checking out if you live in town!! But if you're just passing through, maybe just get some pie to go.

We were in a large alcove at the back of the restaurant. It was spacious and elegant, even with the table ended up being almost entirely filled. Food was delicious and all delivered within minutes of one another (no one was stuck waiting for long). Burger was cooked to perfection and not TOO hot. I hate when food is so hot in temperature that you can't take a bite. The chocolate cake was good, but the whip cream tasted kinda fake/oily. The cake itself was medium density and had a slightly salted finish. It paired perfectly with the frosting which was very rich and extra sweet. A delightful pairing. For my drink, plus a double shot of whiskey, the burger and dessert, it came to just over $100. That feels expensive. Take that as you will. I wouldn't return mostly due to price. She came across as short, unfriendly, and overall not very pleasant. I first ordered a Banana Foster's Martini, but she came back and said they didn't have the ingredients. No problem--I asked for an Espresso Martini instead. A few minutes later, after bringing everyone else's drinks, she returned and simply said they couldn't make that either and asked if I wanted something else. At that point, I just declined. When it was time to order, our table had nine people. She took my husband's order, then went around the table taking everyone else's order. By the time she got back to me, she said, "Okay, is that it?" I had to remind her that she hadn't taken my order yet. I ordered the crab and corn bisque, a salad, and the stuffed catfish with creamed spinach. The salad came out quickly and was very good. Then everyone else at the table received their meals while I only received my bisque. After waiting, I was told my stuffed catfish "didn't come out right" and had to be remade. At that point, I honestly wondered if it was a joke. It wasn't. By the time my entrée arrived, everyone else was nearly finished eating. To the restaurant's credit, they did remove the stuffed catfish from my bill, and I appreciated that. However, the entire experience left me feeling overlooked from start to finish. My biggest suggestion would be for our waitress to work on her customer service. A smile goes a long way. Saying things like "Give me that plate," slamming cups onto the table, and appearing annoyed throughout the meal doesn't create a welcoming dining experience. Hospitality is just as important as the food, and I hope this feedback is taken constructively.
