I'm so happy there's a Brassica near me! Fresh baked pita, friendly staff, beautiful, colorful ingredients - so much to love. Today I had a bowl with mixed greens, lentils, hummus, pickled vegetables, brisket, and their special garlicky dressing. With a pita on the side, a tahini-chocolate chip cookie, and minty lemonade, what a feast! We also had an order of seasoned fries, which were super crisp. The flavors all went together so well and the serving is definitely enough for 2 meals for me. I particularly enjoyed the roast carrots, lentils, and pickled cabbage. One suggestion I have for them is to have a menu board closer to the actual counter. There's one right by the door but the place was packed and 15 minutes later when I ordered it would have been nice to have a refresher. Will definitely be back! read more

I simply cannot rave enough about this experience at Brassica. As a newbie, I didn't quite know what to expect because on the outside looking in, the restaurant appeared to be really fancy and I quickly second guessed my leggings and casual top. As I entered it became clear that it was not as fancy as I thought, just super classy for a casual fast restaurant! Their attention to detail for decor all around the place really spoke to me. Even the trash area where you return your tray was well kept and had brass and wood accents. The lighting was a whole vibe, and as I kept telling my friends, felt like a place you'd want to be on a Friday night! As we entered the line we were promptly greeted by a lady with a smile who asked us what we'd like. It's the ordering style of Chipotle or Piada with the class of a nice restaurant. Since we hadn't been here before she helped explain everything. You get your choice of salad, sandwich or a hummus plate. We all chose the sandwich just because the bread looked fabulous and we were excited to load it up with toppings. I personally chose the chicken sandwich which was shredded and had a little bit of a spice to it. I then added greens, pickled cukes, cauliflower, and eggplant. I chose the special sauce because it came highly recommended and I'm glad that I did... It was a creamy garlic sauce that hit the spot perfectly. I did notice that they had Tahini, which was green in color. I had wondered if it was mixed with avocado but I didn't end up trying it. Next time! Oh gosh, how can I forget, I added feta to mine! What is a meal without cheese I always say! The fries were so simple and yet perfectly crunchy and fresh. As my friend described, they taste healthy! This is all speculation of course but it just didn't have that overly greasy feeling that fries often take on. The guys at the register were so accommodating and helpful and I gotta say, it was incredibly refreshing because service with a smile is so hard to come by sometimes! They were genuinely happy people and aimed to make sure our visit went well! I upgraded to a cookie and thank goodness I did because we all agreed, it was the perfect amount moist and yet the chocolate chip wasn't overly melted... it was sweet and salty and the best bite! We shared a cookie and that was the right move after a filling meal. Still, we all left satisfied and not overstuffed. I think they just hit the nail on the head perfectly! And throughout our dining experience the gentleman at the register came over to check on us, remove unwanted plates and ask us how things were going! Umm! You don't even get that type of attention at a steakhouse sometimes lol! Regarding cost; I truly think the pricing is fair for what you get - not to mention the wonderful ambiance! They serve wine and beer too so bring your gal pals for a chill delicious night to catch up! We were so at peace that we stayed there for thirty min after eating just sharing stories and chatting! The first thing i noticed was the smell from the parking lot. I knew I was in for a treat. Upon entering, I felt like the ambiance is inviting. The cool artwork was a nice touch. The artwork has a cauliflower in it. The staff was very nice and welcoming. We received a quick overview of the food offerings after being greeted with a warm welcome. I advised that I was with Yelp and was asked if I had any issues checking in. My meal was a salad with half brisket and half falafel. I chose all six vegetables. I chose baba on the side. Brassica fries!!! Oh my goodness! I don't have fries often, but when I do, I prefer them to taste like these. We had left over tahini sauce and we dipped the fries in it. My son had the kids plate and he devoured all of it. He really enjoyed the chicken and mixing everything in the pita. He found out he likes hummus and pickled cabbage. Everything was amazing! Oh and how can I forget. The chocolate chip cookie. I could taste a hint of salt and it really complimented the milk chocolate. There were no crumbs left. Everything was a winner! But today I had an experience that was such stellar customer service that I just had to write a review! I had the MOST incredible experience at this Brassica, specifically with an employee named Hannah. The entire staff was so friendly, quick, and kind. As we were waiting for fresh falafel, Hannah mentioned the shirt that I was wearing and we had a nice little conversation. As we were talking, I mentioned that I was picking up food for my best friend who had just given birth and Hannah offered to comp some of the food and throw in a free cookie for her which was SO kind. Hannah is a keeper of an employee -- so easy to talk to and personable. Everyone in this location has been incredible every time I've gone but Hannah went above and beyond today and made a new mom's day! It's really these little things that make such a huge difference. From the reviews, you should be able to discern what type of place this is - counter service, chipotle oriented (pick the items you wish to include), Mediterranean food (hummus, baba, pita, tahini, veggies, etc.), seat yourself, etc. We actually hit many of the menu items - salad bowl, hummus bowl, Cauliflower tahini soup, Brassica fries, Pita, Tahini Choc. Chip cookie and Minty Pink Lemonade. Everything was spot on and very enjoyable. I would have NO issues ordering any of these items again. I will say that we were pleased with everything. Service, primarily young men and women manning the stations, was exceptional. I don't know if it's the training or else you get what you pay for or else they ferret out exceptional employees - whatever it is, is working. We have been big fans of NorthStar (primarily in Columbus, one in Shaker Heights) and have dined at their Columbus locations numerous times, loving every time. It's not cheap, but you do get what you pay for (very good quality, great service, very pleasant ambiance, etc.). Point is, we expected the same from Brassica (same owners) and definitely received it. Great to see.
